Black Angus Steakhouse

I rarely go to steakhouse chain restaurants like Black Angus or Outback, but figured I would give it a try, plus did not want to spend a lot for steak. Welp, you get what you pay for. The server greeted our table, very nice person, but definitely seemed distracted. He forewarned us of a backed up kitchen and bar, so we tried to put in our orders in early. However, they were not right. 1. The drinks were wrong, and the wrong color, which the server had never realized. He didn't even realize what he was picking up. Bright blue is very distinct from red. He did replace the drinks without offering to cover the cost or let us keep the wrong drinks. 2. All of our dirtied plates and glasses took a very long time to be removed from the table. Multiple servers and the manager missed it when they were dropping off our orders. 3. The steak was not cooked properly. I requested Med Well, and only the center was cooked to that temp, the rest was super rare. 4. They did not get the sides right. My steak did not come out with the salad, which was forgotten, and the broccoli were massive stocks. 5. The "grilled wild shrimp", was pretty much boiled shrimp tossed on the grill to get some marks. The good, the fried zucchini was very tasty and the drinks in general were good... and strong :) I will not go back again. If you do go, stick with the pasta and eat at the bar.

We had excellent prime rib prepared exactly as ordered. Waiter was pleasant and did not rush us or forget us. Even though mud pie was not available for dessert, waiter suggested a substitute which was perfect. Will definitely go back again, but would recommend reservations.

Our server was rude. Did not bring our drinks out or bread. It took 25 minutes just to get our appetizers and then after waiting another 45 minutes and still not receiving our dinner we just got up paid for the appetizers and left hungry PS went on a Wednesday afternoon, barely anyone in the restaurant

The waitress asked if we wanted A1 sauce before we even started eating, which is a telltale sign for a place that’s considered a steakhouse. The quality of the cuts is rather poor. Save your pennies

Very slow service. Took about 5-7 minutes to get seated. Waited for a while before order was taken. My friend ordered a well-done hamburger but meat was med rare, not cooked to customers request. We both ordered sodas and waiter didn’t even stop by to ask how we were doing. We will never go there again!!!

Our server, Matt, was so kind and super helpful. You could tell how embarrassed he was by the kitchen and bar mistakes throughout our meal. Three of our 7 steaks were way overcooked and sent back, one came back way way under and was sent back again to be thrown back on. Not a big deal, it happens but the inconsistency in the cuts of the same steak was crazy. Two looked great and two were thin and all fat and grey. We were there to celebrate a birthday and we all left pretty disappointed.

I haven't been to this restaurant for years. I went with my parents and it was fantastic. The restaurant was quiet, the service was terrific, and the food was delicious. I will be going back soon as we enjoyed our time.

We used our coupon for the meal for two. I had the Salmon my husband had the steak it was good fast and perfect temperature. The drinks were delicious and our server was nice and efficient.

Service started great but the waiter was difficult to get a hold of after the initial servings.

The burgers are the best!!!

Can't complain about anything. The cocktails were good as was the delicious food and the service (our server was Taylor who was very friendly, efficient and not overbearing) was excellent. We had the Campfire Feast for 2 which was 1 starter, 2 entrees, 4 sidekicks, and 1 dessert and we had plenty to take home. Can't wait to go back again.

This was the worst potato soup I have ever tasted. It's been years since I had it, I couldn't believe a to go bowl for $6.99 wasn't even a full container, very salty. Very disappointed, I will stick with Outback Steakhouse potato soup!

My husband and I ordered medium temperature prime ribs. They came out looking brown, and when we cut into them, they turned out to be medium well and well done respectively. My husband didn't want us to return them in case the cook spit in our food. We had never seen prime ribs that looked as bad as the prime ribs that came out to us! We were very disappointed...
