First time ever ordering I got about 6 different items and they are all delicious. Everything tasted fresh. The price AMAZING! Kinda far from where I live but whenever I'm in the area I'll definitely be ordering again.

Usually when you know a place is the only place of its kind in the area, you expect it to not be as good. But Dim Sum Basket is amazing, even if they're the only dim sum place in the area. Their staff are friendly and efficient, the food is almost always excellent, and it's always fresh made. I highly suggest their pan-fried turnip cake (lobakgo), sticky rice (lomaigai), egg tart (dantat), sesame balls (Jindoi), BBQ pork bun (chasiubao), and pork and shrimp dumpling (siumai)!Pretty good prices and very high quality. This place is surprisingly good and located in Brentwood area. It’s hard to find a good, affordable and authentic Asian place in Brentwood, or sometimes it’s really expensive to find dimsum place around this area. The price is affordable. They have basic dimsum things with both savory and sweet. The Hong Kong milk tea is so good and it’s the best when it’s hot. Service is quick. This place is a togo place, no dine in.

Stumbled in not having any expectations, but, very pleasantly surprised. Clean & friendly staff. Ease of ordering items by marking down quantity on a sheet & within minutes, packaged & ready to go. No seating. Take out ONLY. Ordered a few items taro bao, egg custard tart & sesame balls w/red bean just to sample for quality. Taro Bao was delicious, no shortage of taro filling & bread was nice & spongy. Mochi in sesame balls were soft centered with great crunch & not oily at all. Flaky buttery crust on egg tart. Everything tasted FRESH. We will be back to try everything! So happy that we don't need to make an hour trek for a dim sum fix.

I stopped in to try this place out on Wednesday January 17th. It's a little Togo spot in Brentwood on Balfour road. Just a heads up, there's no places to sit inside, it's takeout only. Pricing seemed about normal, maybe a tad higher than a restaurant. Service was extremely fast. You right your order down and they go to fill it right then & there. Shrimp balls & shu mai were spot on, and good size too. Shu Mai's I'd say were bigger than usual for sure. This place is ran well and efficient, and I'd come back to get takeout again for sure.

The good dim sum in town! Food is fresh and taste great. Reminds me of sitting down and eating real dim sum at a restaurant but we don't have anything like that in Oakley. The pricing is a little more expensive but the food is good and worth it. The employees are nice and always greet you when you walk in and they are always fast when servicing you.

Great spot to grab and go Dim Sum. Items are always so fresh and delicious. Quality is excellent and you can tell they care about making their product to a high standard. I have almost no desire to grab Dim Sum in the city anymore lol This is very, very good and the fact that it's local is awesome. The shrimp dumplings are excellent and the potstickers are very hearty and tasty. If you're a fan of Dim Sum you should check them out.

There's no tables or chairs. It's dim sum to go! So service is quick. I really just wanted the fried shrimp balls, sesame balls and egg tart. The shrimp balls and sesame balls did not disappoint! Super sad they ran out of egg tarts! Guess we're coming back here again! Everything we ordered was yummy!

Excellent. This will become a staple in my rotation. Lava matcha bun, baked pork bun, Shu mai, shrimp dumplings and milk custard bun... all amazing. They're also extremely large so you have the option of ordering half the amount you'd typically get or just save half for another day.

So excited to finally have a dim sum place close-ish by to Tracy without needing to drive into SF/Bay Area! We got a little of everything to try and everything was so good and fresh. The pineapple custard buns are perfection. The taro lava buns are also so unique and yummy! The shu mai and egg tarts taste legit and fresh. I'll definitely be back for more! Service was also fast and friendly!
