Brentwood doesn't have much Mexican food, but this place is definitely our number 1 spot to visit

Best burritos in Contra Costa county. Taste just like Senidas in Hayward. Excellent beer selection. This is a weekly go to. FYI. They do not serve margaritas.

Great food/great service... Cannot be a $2 taco on taco Tuesday!!!!And to whoever posted the bad review about them having a horrible margarita... They don't serve margaritas, so you commented on the wrong business... they are in the same building as the Brentwood Emporium Bar?? Actually not sure what it's called but they serve a margarita that is wine-based not tequila-based... so maybe that's where you got the margarita from??

I have eaten here 2 times and each timethe burritos have been 5 stars - very clean good service and a great price.Give it a try - and support local business.

The restaurant was is tucked into the corner of the building. Food was pretty good and serving sizes were just about right.

If I could give a zero I would. We have been coming in here since before they were established inside Brentwood Emporium. When They were just a cart. We wanted to support local. We walk the Farmers Market and then stop there for lunch. Until today, we will never return. Worst service ever!! We are the only customers they have right now. We ordered nachos. I waited 30 minutes before I asked for my food. Clearly one order was too much for them. They were too busy doing nothing ( I know this because the girls been sitting in a chair doing nothing the whole time ) I had to go ask them to start my food. I was mad by then. I asked for a refund and pissed off , the girl gave it to me but kept her tip. Are you kidding me. Unethical! Don't go here. There are better places out there!

Disgusting is all that I can say. Also, I ordered a margarita and it was full of soda. I tried asking them to make it again and they gave me the same crap. I drank water (not drinkable). I will never go here again. Yuck!

I ordered 2 quesabirrias w/ beef & dip and they were the best I've had in a long time!! The meat, cheese, cilantro, onions, lime, dip= perfection! Also ordered a Jamaica drink and it did not disappoint. Flavorful and quenched my thirst. Service was great as well! The taquweia was also decorated very nicely with a touch of Christmas decor. So cute I haven't been here in a while, but I'll definitely go more often. Delicioso!!

I bought a Super burrito with steak meat. The lady was very attentive, the location was very nice. I would have liked to give them more stars and maybe this review will help them get better. The steak meat I felt was missing flavor just very bland. The rice was great the beans ok. I noticed the the burrito contained a lot of rice and very little meat. Hopefully they can read my review and add some more flavor to the meat, lemon or steak seasoning something to get the taste worth the $12.00 they charge. Not trying to be rude. I will hopefully try them in the future to see if they improved.

Food great however they truly treat the customers different that aren't of Hispanic decent. Every time myself and others I send here come it's the same experience. I wouldn't "not" recommend however they need to work on their customer service just because some one is black or white doesn't mean they don't deserve outstanding service.‍

With less than 24-hours before my flight back to the east coast I was hard pressed to find a Mexican restaurant in Antioch (on a Sunday evening) that served quality burritos like I'd find in my hometown of San Francisco. I knew the mission - bring back burritos from Cali for the wife and kids. I was visiting the parents in Antioch and there was NO way I was gonna drive to the City just for a burrito. After 30 minutes of frantically searching Mexican restaurants in Antioch/Pittsburg and looking through too many reviews to count, I kept going back to Guadalajara Taqueria. I took the gamble and called in an order for 3 burritos - 1 carne asada, 1 chicken, and 1 shrimp, with everything except sour cream (it goes bad after a while if it's not stored at the right temperature). After 15 minutes, I picked up my order and when the young lady at the counter put my burritos in the bag - I noticed THEY WERE HUGE :). I was tempted to eat my burrito right away, but I resisted and put them in the fridge to prime them for our 7am flight. When I arrived back to the east coast, the fam was pleasantly surprised with the 3 treasures I brought back from Cali. That night, we warmed up our treats and feasted like kings. These burritos were EPIC! They were wrapped with tender care, the flavor was on point, the meat was seasoned just right and this was hands down the best burrito I've ever had in Antioch. Now I know when I visit the fam, I won't have to trek to the City anymore because I know I can get a quality burrito in Antioch. Guadalajara Taqueria IS LEGIT! Can't wait to come back and explore more items on the menu

I ordered to go, my food was ready in 10 minutes, the price was a bargain for a super burrito, compared to other restaurants in the area. I got a super burrito of Barbacoa (Birria) it came with 2 salsas (green and red) the red was super good, spicy tho. Liz helped me she was polite and friendly, I almost forgot to pay because I got distracted but she reminded me I owe her money in a very graceful way. I would of giving them 5 stars, because on service, location, clean restaurant ,food flavor and presentation they are a 5, however my burrito was cold inside , the cheese was not melted and it was very cold except the meat, I'm thinking maybe the sour cream and guacamole (that looked like plain avocado) made it cold , I ate it within 10 minutes from picking it up. This place is great for lunch, there's parking on the street! And on cold days they sale Hot chocolate in the evenings.

$38 for two crunchy tacos, 4 asada tacos, 1 shrimp taco and 2 Jarritos.I'd be happy paying that if the food was memorable and or better.Taste was ok, meat was cold in my tacos. We were the only ones inside on a Sunday afternoon and it still took about 20-25 minutes to be served.Only good thing here were the salsas. That's all.

They have the best quesabirria and the consome is just as good. The meat has so much flavor! I love it, easily my favorite thing to order from here. The lady who's upfront working the register is always nice and welcoming.
