Their sandwiches are good, when they make them right. Unfortunately that doesn’t happen often. They insist on having you order through their website, which would be fine but it doesn’t allow you to edit anything. The staff doesn’t know what typically comes on each sandwich, so you might get what’s supposed to be on there and/or what you actually want. We’ve now tried several times and it’s been a hot mess everytime. Too expensive to keep trying. Luckily we have other places that can get it right close by.

Roadees is by far my favorite sandwich spot to eat at in Downtown. The service is great, people are friendly, small location, and delicious sandwiches you can order as is or customize. The hot pastrami is OMG and the chicken Parm on Dutch crunch are amazing! You wont be disappointed with anything you order from here.

We love coming to Roadees Cafe. The owner is Mexican and you can truly feel how kind, friendly, and genuine she is it makes such a difference when you’re supporting a local business where people actually care.
My daughter absolutely loves the Mexican torta, and that’s honestly one of the main reasons we keep coming back. That said, the other sandwiches are also really good. Everything is fresh and flavorful, and in my opinion, definitely better than Mr. Pickles.
Great food, welcoming atmosphere, and a place that feels like a neighborhood gem. Highly recommend!

Roadees’ Cafe is a local gem. The pastrami sandwich is genuinely delicious, with generous portions that never disappoint. The cream sodas are excellent and a must try. Everything is reasonably priced, which makes it easy to keep coming back.
We often stop here after the Farmers Market, and it has become part of our routine. The service is friendly, and while it can be a little slow at times, it is well worth the wait. The shaded patio is perfect for enjoying a relaxed meal, especially since it is dog friendly and welcoming to our pup.
Great food, fair prices, and a comfortable atmosphere. Five stars without hesitation.

This is THE best sandwich shop in town. Beats all the rest in Brentwood. Everything is made fresh and they definitely don’t short you on ingredients and meat in your sandwich. They have yummy drinks and delicious desserts that are homemade. This place is the best and the customer service is superb.
I came here to get a quick bite during lunch and ordered a sandwich. The lady taking my order had a terrible attitude and seemed very uninterested in her job. It took them 15 minutes to make 1 sandwich and when I checked in after 10 minutes, she said if I was in a rush then I could go across the street while bad mouthing the neighbors. Even after 15 minutes, they still made the wrong sandwich. Terrible customer service, terrible management, will never be returning here.

I recently visited Roadees’ Cafe on 2nd Street and was frankly disappointed. I ordered their vegetarian sandwich — one of the few menu items without meat or egg — hoping for something fresh and tasty. Instead, the bread was stale and felt like it had been sitting out too long.
What made things worse was overhearing the owner openly bad-mouthing the neighboring business while we were there. It was unprofessional and made me uncomfortable as a customer. Combined with the poor food quality and lack of fresh, properly prepared vegetarian options, it’s unlikely I’ll return unless there are serious improvements.
Overall: the location has potential, but professionalism and food-handling need major work.

So I came to this place after attending a coworkers celebration nearby and I wanted something light for dinner. I asked for a Veggie Sub on Dutch with bell peppers and specifically asked not to have any ingredients that contains egg (religious reasons). You can guess what they did, not only did they put mayonnaise but was also not wearing gloves between orders. They were making someone else's pastrami sub and started to prep my sub with same hands. That's a BIG NO in restaurant/food industry because of cross contamination. On top of that, the elderly lady at the register was bad mouthing about their neighbor sandwich shop and offering discounts if they would leave negative reviews about them online. That ALONE did not sit right with me and apparently with that customer too because they refused and walked out of the place without even getting their sandwich. I'm not the type to waste food, I took my sub and gave it to someone in need. I end up going to Safeway and grab some snack there. This action from the owner was just shameful and as humans living a society, we should be supporting each other and not trying to run each other out of business. I'm sorry but I can't support such business or individual(s). This goes against my believes.

This place is horrible and no one should attend this place! I ordered a turkey sandwich yesterday and it tasted so disgusting that I instantly threw up! Staff was horrible and unprofessional ! They don’t even use gloves when they are making your sandwhichs! Very bad experience here!

The vegi sub was okay. My issue was when I was chatting with the staff. I don’t know why they’d mention that they we should leave a negative review for their next door business competition. That felt so unprofessional and out of boundaries. I don’t think I’d be going back there anymore. That made me curious to try out the next-door sandwich, and let me tell you - their service was above and beyond.
