This review is for the bakery department. I don't know who specifically decorated my daughters cake but i wish I did! I would ask for them personally every time because wow! It came out beyond expectations! I printed off a picture to give them and they made it look even better! It tasted amazing, too! Thank you for the beautiful yummy cake!

This is the 2nd time in a row I've ordered from this bakery and my order was messed up . I ordered a cake, was asked what colors? I said pink and white. What I got was pink and white writing, in a white cake. No decorations, nothing. No common sense at all. Will never order from there again!

I was ordering from .com in the morning and got everything i wanted a guy named gabe, he was who picked and brought out my order and he was great amazing personality very respectful had a great conversation with gabe give him a 11/10.

I was very disappointed by the customer service in the self check out line. I accidentally rang something up wrong. I asked the lady to take it off. She was kind of down talking to me. Like I'm supposed to know every situation in Safeway. I was going to get her name but her jacket covered it. The first two letters were MA. She shouldn't be working in customer service with an attitude like that. I've been in customer service, my whole life, and I would never treat anybody that way.

Little strange how Pick up and delivery services has a young fellow wearing a cast for sprains for a long duration. He seems to do the most drop offs at that pick up and go section. If it was that bad, why the consistency? Seems like a method used for tips. But that's just me being an old guy.

Wanted to purchase corn bread, there was only 1 left. I asked the lady at the bakery, do you have anymore in the back? No this is all we have. It was 11am, were you planning on making more? No this is all we have, i said today is the 25th this was made on the 21st, there's mold already!! Not very helpful!

they let a bump loiter there and smoke all day in the front. maybe hire him as security... or get him out so we can shop away from a homeless camp

Safeway Pharmacy Oh my God. Never have I ever had a more terrible experience. Long story short, CVS from across the street sent me to Safeway Pharmacy to receive my daughter's prescription since all local CVS pharmacies were out of my toddler's medication. There were two women working there, and the one I am focusing on is who I assume was the pharmacist. She was unfriendly, not professional and incredibly rude. I explained that CVS had called my prescription in and she barked that they didn't receive it yet and to come back in 20 minutes I'm too early. I ask when they close. As I walk away she yells asking if I have ever been there and I have not so I needed to come back and register with the other lady at the register. I then leave to go home to my other children as I'm exhausted and 8+ months pregnant. My MIL so graciously returns for me 20 minutes later and the same woman is so unprofessional and states, "Oh she sent you back for her didn't she?" My MIL thought that was bizarre.I expect to speak to the Manager of this Safeway Pharmacy and would be happy to speak to corporate as well.

The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is for the flavor of the cake but the decorations?? What is this? I asked for a SOCCER FIELD, they don't have any little figures to go with it so i purchase separately. Not satisfied with my purchase
Although this is not my neighborhood Safeway and not seeing its less than better moments described in other reviews, the few times I've visited it's been well-stocked with a superb variety of labels compared to other stores in East Contra Costa County. When I'm shopping at Brentwood, I make it a point to visit to stock up for my pantry.

I never write reviews but I wouldn't want anyone else being so excited to celebrate something and have to deal with horrible customer service and a cake that is nothing like what you asked for. I called so excited because I was having a small gender reveal with my family, the lady who answered the phone was so rude and no help while I was trying to figure out what they offer for a gender reveal cake or cup cake. I go into the store to give them the envelope( that has my gender) as well as try to get a better understanding of what my cake will look like. The lady that helped me seemed so careless in helping me with the design. I settled on ombré of white blue and pink. My husband went to pick up the cake and it was lopsided, and there was no ombré it was white at the top then solid blue and then solid pink. It was such a a poor experience. Most people are coming to the bakery excited to celebrate a special event and they are met with a horrible customer service experience and a cake that looks nothing they paid for! I will never use this bakery.

I gotta say I love there sandwiches, you know what I don't love. Them never having enough bread, they are out of bacon by 3:30-4 o'clock, it's disappointing when 4 out of 5 times we have been recently they are always out. Whether is it 6 in the morning when they open or afternoon they always don't have something. Just think they can do better.

This is mainly for the bakery. TWO stars because the cakes are pretty good but I notice, they NEVER HAVE the toys/props for their cakes. Ordered a cake for my son for his birthday back in March and they didn't have the dinosaurs so we had to prop it ourselves. Ordered a cake for my husband just now and again they don't have the decor for it. Why charge full price if we have to basically decorate the cakes ourselves??? If the cake props are out of stock, please remove it from the booklet for ordering so it's not false advertising and we can choose a different option.

The staff here is exceptionally rude, especially the two older ladies. I think one of them is some type of manager. I had an experience today where I accidentally went into the express lane because I didn't see the sign. The cashier immediately began yelling at me "hello! This is the express lane! Can't you read? Look at the sign! See! Express lane!" To which I replied "sorry I didn't see but that was a little rude". She then began to mock me in a very sarcastic tone, "sorryyyy it's so Loud over here I can't hear you yeah okay you're sorry but this is the express lane mmhmm bye". How very unnecessary
