I used to really like going to this place but lately the service/food has been terrible! They take a long time to make your food. I went there yesterday and waited 35 minutes to get my food and there was no one in there but my partner and I. Usually I don’t mind the wait if the food is good. Then was presented with one plate of food and then the other one didn’t come out till 10 more minutes later for my partner. When inspecting the food I noticed the pork was mostly fat and not piping hot, the bun was soggy and the barbecue sauce didn’t cover all the pork. (ordered the pork sandwich) plus they gave me only a little bit of fries. I get it’s an 8 dollar lunch special but why skim on the overly salty fries. Then the burger came out. Which looked pretty good for the price but not for the wait. It was just a burger. Which was more than the lunch special. Anyways we are not gonna be coming here if we are walking around downtown. I would choose a different place to eat barbecue or have a burger!

Food was extremely bland and cheap looking and tasting. Ordered a tri tip sandwich and paid an extra 50 cents for cheddar cheese but got processed American cheese unmelted. They use the same cheap sandwich rolls from Safeway. Mac and cheese has barely any cheese and no flavor looks microwaved. Not worth the money or the calories, they should have better standards.

Ribs are as advertised follow off the bone tender. Chicken is awesome, and the cheese ball is a must appetizer.

Wait takes forever. You don’t even smell food cooking or smoke from the grill nothing. Food taste old, macaroni and cheese looks like it was microwave and re heated from yesterday. Food is not good anymore like it used to be when they were in Brentwood by Winco. The food used to be way better. You don’t even smell food when you walk in you wouldn’t even know it was a restaurant 😂.

I recently had some teeth pulled and haven't been able to eat many foods. My girlfriend wanted ribs so we went here to get her some. I ask the lady I wished u got her name very helpful. I told her my situation and she said I would be able to eat the ribs with the way my teeth were so I got me and my girlfriend ribs chicken and tri-tip I had ribs baked beans and mash potatoes. I haven't ate like that in so long and had no problem the ribs fall right off the bone and they are fantastic. Beans the same my God they were so tasty. Anywho I would give this place a ten for delicious 😋. Take my word or stop by for yourself you will not be disappointed....Emmmmm Gooooood

We came here last night for dinner. We’re new to California so, I’m comparing this bbq food to other states I’ve been to. I feel the portions were not large at all & i have to say, the food was not great... The chicken tender was bland and somewhat dry and the fried chicken drumstick was overly fried to the point it was hard to eat. The garlic mashed potatoes tasted a few days old and rewarmed. The tri tip had no meat flavor and more-so an overly char taste to the point the meat was bitter. Ribs were good- meat fell off the bone. Unfortunately, we wouldn’t come back here. $54 for two meals and a beer… just wasn’t worth it.
