We went to this place after my daughter’s game. We told them we want dine in, usually if you dine in they come to you and take order and serve food. They told us to order on the counter and they told us to grab our food when it’s ready. We order Dahi bhalla chaat, Aloo tikki chaat and chole bhature. Usually they offer appetizers first and then lunch. They gave us all the food at once and it is in to go boxes. Dahi bhalla Chaat and aloo tikki chaat is good no doubt but Chole bhature no good. They serve us bhature under cooked. When we eat it taste like raw flour. My daughter didn’t eat that well. Prices are too high.

Decent vegetarian Restaurant. It was some new flavors for us. Mango lassi had paan and rose flavor along with mango taste. Aloo pyaaz and gobi paratas were very good. Rotis are soft and fresh. Rajma was light and not thick but tasted good. Really yummy kadi pakoda. We loved the mixed vegetable sabzi too. Owner was very nice too. Place was clean. Like their eco friendly cups and plates. Samosa chat and mango lassi tasted different than what we usually get outside. Samosa chat had overpowering tanginess that usually is not we expect and couldn’t eat more. Pani pooris are also slightly different flavored but we liked it.

***Update from 7/27/24*****
After speaking with the owner of Tasty Temptations, he addressed the concerns we had from our previous visit, specifically regarding the Shahi Paneer. He spoke to his staff about the issue and recommended we try their Shahi Paneer, which is made with ground cashews, cream, and also their burfi.
Oh my goodness! Both dishes were AMAZING!!! Along with their butter naan, the Shahi Panner was incredibly creamy with the perfect amount of flavor, and the naan was perfectly done.
The burfi smelled and tasted wonderful, with just the right amount of sweetness and a hint of pure ghee. We are very happy that the owner genuinely takes feedback seriously and cares about his customers. While we have yet to try other dishes, we 100% recommend trying their Shahi Paneer, butter naan, and burfi.
*****Update from 07/17/24****
We recently visited this restaurant and had a very disappointing experience. The food and service were far below expectations, especially considering their claim of offering an authentic vegetarian Indian dining experience.
Food:
* Paneer Makhni: We were served dal with a few pieces of paneer instead of the creamy, flavorful paneer makhni we expected. Anyone can Google what paneer makhni looks like, and this was definitely not it. When we politely pointed out the mistake, the server got defensive and insisted this was their version. It was incredibly frustrating to be dismissed like that. Attached pictures tells it all!
* Rajma: The rajma was mostly water with a few beans, lacking any rich, hearty flavor. It was like they just threw some beans in water and added spices to cover up the blandness.
* Sarson ka Saag: The saag was downright nasty.
* Chai: The chai took forever to arrive and was watered down with little to no spices, making it bland and unappealing.
*Chapati: Were the only thing that came out right
Service:
* The wait time for our food was excessively long, especially considering there were only two other people in the restaurant. It was already annoying, but the emptiness made it even more inexplicable.
* When we tried to address the issue with the paneer makhni, the server was not just defensive but outright rude, refusing to make any adjustments or even acknowledge our concerns.
* To make matters worse, the staff started shouting at each other in their own language mentioning our dishes, which made us feel extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome.
I hope this feedback helps the restaurant improve, but honestly, they have a long way to go.
Vegetarian options: Try their Shahi Paneer, Butter Naan and Burfi. Those are really good!

Food was ok. Atmosphere was good. Very clean place, I was disappointed that they didn't serve water at the table. I had to leave my table while I was eating to get chai. I left thirsty after having lunch there

Horrible experience, when we tell the staffs about the issue they are defending over and over about the quality of food and we talking about the food. Quality, delivery time and staffs responding is pathetic. Please don’t look at the past reviews kindly look at the recent ones before wasting your money

I wish I could give zero stars for this restaurant. I have no idea how this restaurant has any positive reviews at all. The negative reviews posted in the past by others are more accurate. We made the mistake of looking at the overall rating and paid a hefty price in terms of physical health issues fron eating food here. We went as a group and one of our group members had stomach issues from undercooked food. Here are the complete list of issues -
1. The food was extremely undercooked. The rice in the fried rice was barely cooked and we were unable to eat it. The veg manchurian was the worst I have ever tasted in my life as it was not cooked properly.
2. The order delivery takes forever. There were only five groups in the restaurant. Yet, our order took close to 30 minutes for delivery. They have a tiny kitchen with only two people cooking that order delivery takes way too long, especially for such subpar food.
3. They also forgot delivery of items. We had to follow up to get our food items.
4. Some of the chaat items were soaked in too much watery buttermilk. Seriously? This food is maybe acceptable to someone who has never tasted Indian food in their life. But to serve such horrible recipes in the name of chaat in the bayarea is unacceptable.
You have been warned! Please save your money and go to a better restaurant. And if you have a craving for good Indian food, find some other place. This restaurant does not serve even half decent Indian food. I am not sure if the past good reviews from a few people were because the restaurant used to be good in the past or those people had not tasted good Indian food in the past. The current state of food served in this restaurant is definitely nowhere near even basic standards of the bayarea. Please stay away from this restaurant!
** UPDATE **
The restaurant had resolved to cheap tactics by adopting the technique of making false allegations in their response against us. In the response, they said there was condescending interactions with the staff. First of all, the team is inside the kitchen and not accessible to anyone else. Second, we had interactions only with the owner. There were three interactions - 1. To order food, 2. To let him know that one of the items was missing, 3. To let them know that the rice was undercooked. The interactions were short and direct. To call the interactions condescending is either not knowing the meaning of the word or to respond with a lie just to decry our review. Wow! Just wow! This is a new low for this business.
