We booked a room last minute. The room is small, old but clean. However, it is not well insulated (from the cold, noise and light because there is a window above the door which opens onto the corridor which some people who get up in the night forget to turn off).
The bathrooms are clean.
The staff is welcoming and kind despite the cleaning lady who gently knocks at 9 a.m. for cleaning.

So we are just on Priceline trying for a place to sleep for a fair price and end up at the Bridgeport Inn. Historic, 1877! Great restaurant for steak and Prime, nice little bar, and yes, totally, completely haunted. I recently had a mid-lunch at The Bridgeport Inn and ordered a steak, but unfortunately, it arrived well-done instead of the medium-rare I requested. The sides were also disappointing—there were only fries, a single leaf of romaine lettuce, and a slice of tomato that didn’t look particularly fresh, so I didn’t even try it.
