Jolly Kone, Bridgeport, CA Stopped by Jolly Kone for a quick lunch during a road trip through the Eastern Sierra, and it hit the spot without any fuss. I went for the black bean burger with fries—solid choice, with a hearty patty that’s flavorful and not overly mushy, paired with crispy fries that stayed hot. The rest of the group stuck to classic cheeseburgers, and they were thumbs-up all around: juicy, well-seasoned, and no complaints on the toppings. Meals clocked in around $11 each, which feels fair for the quality and portion size in this neck of the woods. Casual roadside vibe, friendly service, and a good break from the drive. Worth pulling over if you’re nearby. Plenty of parking, some in the forecourt and then on the road.

Jolly Kone is a walk up and order burger joint, it has outdoor seating, both covered and uncovered. They have burgers, hot dogs, chicken, fries, they have snow cones and ice cream and milkshakes. This spot has a wide variety of things to choose from. We stopped here after Bodie State park. it was delicious! We ordered a Mushroom Bacon Burger and a Bacon Cheese burger. Both were delicious, one of the better burgers I've had recently. We also got milk shakes - they have so many flavors to choose from or mix and match. The burgers came with fries and I opted to uncharted to chili fries. Everything here was delicious, the staff was friendly and patient, prices were great and they had fast service. This is definitely a good place to get a bite.

Imagine this. Tuesday afternoon 2:30p / 78 degrees (hotter than your usual 78*) - Party of 2; Day trip drive from S. Lake Tahoe to Hwy 395.
We decide to take a quick break and stop at Bridgeport. With our luck, both businesses found on Yelp were located on the same parking lot.

I woud say this as the best place to enjoy ice cream if you are traveling from hot Nevada side of the route or you are looking for delicious food for anyone traveling on CA Hwy 395!!. I myself based out of New Jersey visited South Lake Tahoe and was on my way to Yosemite National Park. We enjoyed having ice cream and burgers at the family owned jelly Kone place. We personally being vegetarian were amazed to find vegan and vegetarian options and really had a great tasteful food in this beautiful Bridgeton neighborhood. We liked the hospitality by different family members during our visit twice at the restaurant.

Waited 45 minutes in line because they said you can only get ice cream in the far left window. Half way through, they let everyone behind us go to the other windows and start getting ice cream. Get to the front, they kid they have at the window tells me they aren’t doing sundaes or milkshakes. I watched every person they let go in front of us get a sundae then we we finally get up there they stop?? Absolutely ridiculous, and every year we come up here I will never get ice cream from this joke of an ice cream shop.
