this restaurant is inside the Cache Creek Casino. the food was very good, but I gotta say the big stand-out dish was the Hong Kong Special Chow mein. I had never heard of that style before. It came with lightly pan-fried noodles topped with veggies and meat. the meat and vegetables was l.ike they took Wor won Ton soup and poured it over the noodles sans all the broth. It was the best Chow Mein I have even had. the Chow mein is a total meal on its own, I have not found this at our local asian restaurants. It's definitely worth a drive there, just her this odish, I travel with a real, professionally trained service dog. We had no issues. We were welcomed in and treated just like everyone else. I often have issues due to people putting an untrained animals in a fake vest bought on Amazon Thank you. I will definitely be back,

Both our sons have birthdays in March as well as I do. As a treat, my husband and I treated them to Cache Creek since they weren't members of any casino. Since this was March 5, 2024, not all the restaurants were open. We're Cantonese and figured we'd try out Chang Shou. I was surprised we needed reservations on a Tuesday afternoon! Fortunately, the wait was only 15 minutes. I was happy to see a good variety of comfort food offered especially Dim Sum and Congee. My husband is white and enjoys pot stickers. Our waitress was Flavia and an Asian gentleman was bussing the tables. Both of them were kind and attentive to our needs. The plates we ordered and found very tasty were: Shumai Siu Bad Pot Stickers Pai Gow Congee Kung Pao Chicken Chicken Fried Rice Special Fried Rice I live in Vallejo and don't often have the opportunity to eat good Chinese food. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who has a hankering for authentic cooking.

This employee is so rude - she is always stayed in the front reception. I made the reservation at 3 pm but I still didn't get the seat until 3:10 and asked her if the tables is ready and her face looked at me so rude - she told me just waited.

Chang Shou was good. The restaurant was beautiful but noisy. I liked the food but didn't feel it was anything special. The ho and sour soup was very tasty but really spicy... so much so that it brought tears to my eyes. We also the Budda dish, Mongolian Beef ,Hong Kong chow mein and rice Not realizing that rice came with the order. Our server was prompt in taking and delivering our order answering questions about various beer that was on the menu. I cuddled miss getting a fortune cookie when we finished! I would return if we went ack to Cache Creek Casino.

Omgoodness the food here is amazing. I eat her almost every time I go to cache creek. Everything here is good, from the honey walnut prawns to the rice, beef and broccoli. And the drinks are also good. One thing I really like is the staff, they are so fast and efficient. There might be a wait but it's well worth it. Can't wait to go soon...

I go to Chang Shou several times a month. The food is great, the service is great but, the show stopper is Terrence the mgr. He always greets us with a smile and kind words....whenever something goes wrong he quickly takes care of it with grace and finesse!!! And from what I can see, his staff enjoys working with him. Kudos Terrence and keep up the great work!!

The Food at Chang Shou Restaurant in the Cache Creek Casino Resort is Delicious!! We've had their deliciously prepared and professionally presented Hong Kong Chow Mein with plenty of assorted meats and vegetables, Dry-fried Beef Chow Fun, Sweet and Sour Chicken, huge amount of delicious freshly prepared Chinese Chicken Salad, tender tasty Korean Spareribs,..... When we were waiting for our entrees one day, we saw Servers bringing out beautifully cooked and prepared from the Chefs of large platters of Fish, Roast Duck, Chinese Chicken Salad and other specialty entrees. Oscar is an Excellent, Professional, Knowledgeable and Polite Server to us. All the Workers are Extremely Busy Professionally working hard and yet they're patient and polite with customers too. A gentleman said, "This is the Best Chinese Food we've ever eaten!!" "Everything was Delicious!!!" The ambiance and decor is nicely decorated and soothing music playing. We didn't know there's more convenient dining tables, booths and rooms for customers further inside the restaurant. There's large and small Private Banquet Rooms too. We'll be back to try more of their Deliciously Prepared Food at Chang Shou Restaurant!!!

Had a reservation for 6:15. Got seated all the way in the back. Watched a couple get seated beside us 15 minutes later and got their drinks ordered. We still haven't seen our server. Asked two workers twice and only after 20 min she finally appeared. Waited over 30 minutes for 3 dishes. Couple beside us ate, paid and left before we saw one entree. The third entree took another 12 minutes. Check was brought with the last dish. Claimed it was busy but the restaurant was empty. Had to track down the waitress to pay and she had the nerve to ask us to fill in the tip line. Worst service and quality. Will never return. Deserves negative stars.
