We're locals, and have been going to China Panda for ten years, Outstanding food, great service, owner and maitre'd William is a delight, it's a huge menu, all delicious, spicy and non-spicy, he'll make it just the way you like it. Our favorite is the Imperial Dinner, tons of yummy stuff. Great take-out menu, very extensive. Lots of free parking. Lovely ambiance and goodwill!

!CAUTION! I was craving Chinese food and this place is the only place for Chinese in Solvang, so our family ordered it for dinner. First off, the food was expensive and almost every thing we ordered was not good at all. Watery, bland, and gross as if it was frozen and reheated. But the WORST part was that it gave me food poisoning! Everyone else had just stomachaches thankfully, but I had every single fp symptom there is and had to miss work because of it. So I spent $100+ on food just for it to come back up hours later and then lost wages from being too sick to work the next day. I don't know how this place has so many good reviews-- like did we eat at the same restaurant???

We LOVE China Panda and go here every chance we get! This is saying a lot because we rarely go out anymore since the pandemic ended and most places' prices shot up, selections and portion sizes declined, and service became nonexistent. Not here! Portions are hearty, prices are very manageable, ambiance is great, food and service are outstanding. While we'd love to have a Chinese buffet in this area (we have to go to Santa Maria for that), we are very very satisfied with this restaurant and its people (particularly William!) working there. We always can count on a good experience, plenty of comfortable booth seating, a spacious room where customers aren't on top of each other, very convenient parking right out front, etc. We have no bad things to say!

Absolutely the best Asian food in the area. The owner always remembers us when we come in and the food is always fresh. Our favorite dish to order is the vegetable or chicken egg foo young, but everything on the menu is great! It was disappointing to see them so empty on our last trip in because they have amazing food. This is our go to place and has become a family tradition to come here on Christmas Eve.
Amazing service and delicious food. We came in hungry, our server got our order and the food came out quick! I recommend chicken chow fun and the chicken in the hot garlic sauce. So good!!

We came here on a whim and so glad we did. The food was good quality, large portions, and fast service. The gentleman who was running the show was also beyond kind and provided great service. If we are back in the area, we will definitely come again for dinner.
