The wife and I were sitting outside enjoying the still pale spring sunshine for the first time this year. It called for a celebration. Celebration of life! Something special - and as such I went into the cellar and searched for the fit of the day - settling on the Dragonette Sauvignon Blanc 2010 - Long aged and 1 of 1 bottle saved for all these many years ! Brought back to Denmark in my suitcase!!! I have way too many bottles in my cellar - spent way too much money on wine - so when saying this was the best SB I have ever have enjoyed is a an understatement. The explosion palette that came out of that bottle was out of this world - otherworldly - leaving just one major pain - a once in a lifetime experience. Family business in wine making owned by 3 guys. Two of them were working during our visit to take the juice out of grapes. We tested the red wines and they were very good. Hope to comeback after a while to see the evolution. The present of the wines and winemakers was as wonderful.

Very knowledgeable somm-lead tasting. Each wine had very distinct notes that highlighted the specific hill the grape was grown on, and came complete with a full fact sheet. Somm encourgaed "taste and guess" education, which was very fun. Probably the best cellar I have tasted at on the central coast.Service was incredibly friendly. Had no issues bringing my pup. Very reasonable prices and walking distance from high quality food. Took some bottles and were given a drinking timeline to manage aging, which was a cool touch by our somm. Definitely will return.
