We spent 5 days in the Santa Ynez Valley. After eating here the first time, we ended up coming back 3 more times. The atmosphere is eclectic...long tables shared between parties. Met some interesting people. You place your order at the counter and the food is brought to you. The food was amazing. Gourmet quality at half the price of a typical restaurant. The beef shank shepherds pie was to die for. Also the filet was amazing. Altogether a great experience.
Busy!!! Bustling and definitely a spot to visit for smaller groups. We came with a postwedding crowd and it was definitely a tight fit, but the staff was helpful and the food was DELECTABLE. I still have fever dreams about that Caesar salad! Their entrees are really good too, and everyone was well satisfied.
They close early, so make sure to check your watch before heading over!

We Went here after Golf and it was a great place to have a fun afternoon lunch. Interesting menu very eclectic. The sandwiches were definitely nice portions. The garlic fries definitely had lots of garlic. The salads were a little bit different, so just be aware.

The young woman who was running food and at the register (low 20’s/high teens) needs some manners. She was incredibly rude to me and my friends (they ordered separately- we weren’t together). Horrible, judgy, snarky person.
The cod dish was incredible. The caesar salad was good. Pizza and shishito peppers were just ok. This was our fourth time there and the food is always hit or miss but the service on 10/27 was so bad, I never want to go back. Older (still young) woman and the guy with the beard were great. Helpful and friendly. But they couldn’t make up for the mini Wicked Witch of the West. She needs to go!

I had a fantastic lunch here and always enjoy this stop on the way back to SLO. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. It is truly all delicious! Well worth the stop.

Food was decent, but my short rib shepherd's pie had chunks of cold meat and the middle of the dish was still cold. Which probably means the food was not fresh and just reheated. When I mentioned it to the counter, they just microwaved it and brought it back out. Service could definitely be better.

One of the best restaurants in the Valley. Everything here tastes great, it has a fantastic community vibe, and the staff is welcoming and friendly. Some of the best gluten free pizza I’ve ever had (and I’ve had a *lot*). My family loves the sandwiches, and we all love the salads and the hot entrees we’ve had. It can get busy sometimes (see: one of the best restaurants in the Valley), but it’s always been worth the wait.

Great lunch stop when we are travelling on Highway 101 or visiting Buellton or Los Olivos. The pastrami beef tongue Rueben is memorable, but everything is great.

Cozy local place that had communal tables and great food. Their menu was surprisingly innovative and diverse, everything we had was great! Dog friendly too. The apple pie with spicy honey is so good ;)

This place does food justice! It's my go-to for lunch between SLO and LA. I've had their amazing pizzas, beef cheek pastrami, BLT with fat heirloom tomato slices, Bahn mi, etc. Everything has been fantastic! I wish we had a place like this that was local.

OMG!! So salty..we couldn't finish our food because both were so so soooo salty. Skirt pizza, the meat was marinated by salt. All we tasted was salt. Miso cod, mushroom was salty and burned.
Half of the mushrooms we had to throw away. Burned mushrooms, I had to spit out from my mouth.
I don't know how they get over 4 star review???
