Delicious Cuban Sandwich and Tongue Pastrami Rueben! Huge variety on hand written menu, I don’t know how the kitchen can put out such high quality AND variety! Our party of 4 found something perfect for everyone and it all looked picture perfect. Can’t wait to go back. It’s order at the counter/seat yourself service with a casual vibe. What service there is was good but it’s the food that people come for here. Bring your industrial size appetite, you won’t be disappointed.

I had the shepherds pie. It was delicious. All the other dishes got great reviews.
The service was great.
The prices were reasonable for what you get.
It was much too noisy.

WHAT an atmosphere! You can 'feel the soul' of this place before you even get thru the doors (or smell the yummy nuances of fresh spices/food or hear the happy chatter going on).
The menu is creative, well balanced and reasonably priced. I wasn't up for a heavy meal but there were quite a few things I'd have loved to try, otherwise. I had a wonderful pizza; Prosciutto, Taleggino Cheese and fresh Arugala and my friend had the BEST BBQ brisket sammy I've ever tasted. My pizza was light but the flavors literally jumped out at you.
The art on the walls is eclectic, funky and as you look around, you just keep finding more!
I chatted with a friendly guy (food prepping at the time) and he talked about "what a special place" it was to work how they bought locally and put their food/ingredient quality first. You can tell!
I wish it wasn't so far from home but next time I travel this way, THIS is where I'm going??and you should too.

Zero stars all around, super expensive, this place forgot half the tables orders, being burgers, and made excuses that the burgers take extra long. Stale buns, overcooked burger, pizza was flavorless and slimy. Rude staff that makes excuses instead of admitting a mistake. Never go here. They ask for tips in advance and don't offer good food or good service. Plus it's dog friendly so everyone had a huge dog in there with slobber and but sniffing non stop.
Worst place in Santa ynez area.

Went back to back evenings ( both before closing) because we wanted to fill the cravings from the night before. A mix of eclectic wall/ shelf displays and a variety of musical styles fill the atmosphere of IE. The 2 large pizza ovens take up the rear end of the restaurant and one is adorned with a classic retro mural of “The Warriors”, a 1979’s low budget gang flick that I remember very well( see photo). The menu is filled with enough to satisfy. varied choices of Pizza, sandwiches, salads, and revolving specialty items.
My wife and I ordered the Short Rib Shepards pie ( comfort food at its best) , Caesar Salad ( enough for 2), Potato and sausage and fennel pizzas ( very tasty) , and the White Shrimp over crusty bread with chili garlic ( this one is spicy so my wife ended up eating my shepherds pie; I loved it though). I saw a lot of negative reviews from years ago about service but everyone at this place was super friendly very professional and happy to see you there. They also have a good variety of craft beer and wine. Stop by when in Buellton/ Solvang. I’ll finish with a quote from that “Warriors” movie: “Can You Dig it!” <——-if you know , then you know.

Dog friendly; Not kid friendly; overpriced & bad service. The cashier suggested we put our order To Go, in case we couldn’t find a place to sit. He still gave us a number and didn’t explain that we needed to wait at the front counter for our food. We found a spot to sit and an hour later still didn’t have our food. Multiple servers came by looking at numbers. None of them seem concerned and ignored us. We ended up going up to the front counter and it had been sitting there for a long time. Food was fine, not worth the price or the wait. Do not recommend & we won’t be coming back.

I waited so long to try this place and read many reviews how great it was ....but I was so disappointed today when I ordered the brisket sandwich because every pie e of brisket was fat. No meat. Not one piece. I had not eaten all day so I was starving and I ate it anyway although kept thinking I was going to eat some meat eventually the coleslaw was tasty as was the bun but the brisket was horrible ....had a good sear on the fat and I likesome fat, don't get me wrong, but it was ALL FAT and for $21 FOR A BEEF FAT SANDWICH, I won't return .... it's unacceptable. As a former food critic this is a no-go.

We had wanted to eat here for a long time, so when our travels brought us back to Buellton we stopped in for lunch. The food was good, the service was too...the atmosphere was a little lacking and you have to share eating tables with other diners. Not really what we had expected, but the sandwiches were good. A+ on the bread. Cubano needed more pickle and less cheese...the lettuce greens on the side were tasty. We'll be back but with lower expectations.

Essentially fine dining food with very casual atmosphere and service. Been finding any excuse to come here for many years and they rarely miss. There isn’t anything on menu that’s not recommendable, so be adventurous, all will delight taste buds.

The restaurant was recommended to us by a waiter in Santa Barbara. We had a bit of trouble finding it at first. The food was extremely good and lovingly prepared. We ate the “Trust us” menu and the children had 2 pizzas. Our menu was outstanding. The atmosphere is very uncomplicated and pleasant. A 100% recommendation. The best meal on our 3 1/2 week road trip across the southwest of the USA.
