We intended to try the place around the corner but really why? When we already have a good thing going at mariscos ? Rancherita! And just like the first time they did lot disappoint! Repeat customers. Great stop off the freeway on the way home from pomona to arroyo grande. Now we drive down because it’s goodfood! Flaky tender fried tilapia !

Great authentic Mexican cuisine! Tamales and burritos especially tasty. Service was exceptional!

Very good come Chile Verde plate with rice and beans/ corn tortilla. The Chile Verde sauce was absolutely amazing with flavor and spice. What a nice place to eat at. The service was great too.

Good food, quick service, pretty laid back atmosphere. We were hoping to sit outside but it looked pretty run down. Inside has a small bar and the restaurant was deserted at 1230 on a Tuesday. Camarones a la Diabla was super spicy as advertised. Their pork dish was very good. A little pricey, I was initially looking at shrimp enchiladas which would have been $23.

Not worth the price! Small portions big price! Then you have to ASK for refills on drinks....I always thought that was their job to ask.... Then we end up finding a hair in one of our meals....no bueno!

Visited the area for the 1st time; My family and I stopped in for dinner and I must say that it was the best choice. Do not be deterred by the exterior or the simple decor. The staff is pleasant and friendly; family owned business. The food is good homemade Corn tortillas. We had the Chicken Mole w/ Rice and Beans and it was very good. My son ordered their Wet Burrito w/ Carnitas w/ spicy salsa. He loved it and know that it is NOT small. The Price is well worth it. I plan to go here every time I'm in town. We were hungry that we forgot to take photos.. Next time..

First time to enjoy this truly authentic cuisine. Fansatic tilapia dish that was so flavorful. Reminded me of a trip to Monterrey Mexico.

Amazing dinner at Maricos La Rancherita last night! Don't let the exterior nor the decor deter your from this place. Flavors were spot on and portion sizes were just right especially after spending the day exploring Solvang! Started with an appetizer: Pastor Quesadilla and followed with a (Huge!) Asada Chimichanga & the Chile Verde de Puerco. Definitely ended up with no room for dessert!

Terrible service, food was decent at best, not enough meat and mainly grizzle. I ordered 1 Asada torta and a asada quesadilla on corn tortilla. My to go order took 35 minutes to be ready and when I got home notice my quesadilla was on a flour tortilla not corn. There was 3 tables seated already served and almost done. 2 to go orders in front of me with two cooks working the back. I was told it would be a 15 minute wait but that was not the case. This is the second and last time I visit this restaurant. Not worth the time.

Great find, we had some time to kill. Did a couple of laps of the main street and opted to stop at somewhere we thought looked authentic.... there are a few but we agreed on Mariscos. Felt very welcome from the moment we stepped in, the server (Nancy) was friendly and extremely attentive. Beers were ice cold, but the food stole the show... Best damm fish tacos (and shrimp) I've tasted so far on our road trip.... very fresh, grilled not fried and amazing flavours and colour.... thank you Nancy !!! Thank you Mariscos

We were craving "Mariscos" and we didn't order it ? We went for pollo en mole and enchiladas michoacanas! ? The horchata and jamaica are a must try too. Great service and when we return to visit Beullton, we shall visit again ?

If I could give no stars I would. We found this place based on Yelp reviews and the pictures looked amazing. When we arrived, the place was stuffy and very hot. I guess no AC. I wanted to come here for a cocktail I saw on one of the Yelp pictures but found out they don't serve hard liquor. They only serve, beer, micheladas and wine. Then most of the menu items were crossed out with a permeant marker and not available. We also came because we saw they had some really good looking shaved ice deserts but when I asked about them the waitresses said they don't do those. She then brought us some chips and salsa but the chips were stale as can be. So unfortunately we had to walk out and go somewhere else. She didn't seam to care when we told her we came because of the Yelp reviews and pictures. I guess they got new owners? Who knows if they ever served any of the food that shows on the Yelp app but I can assure you they don't have much and it's not even worth trying to find out. I did that for you drive the 2 miles to Solvang and find your self some better food.

Great food usually a little wait but we'll worth it for sure I find myself going back to this place over and over again passing Mexican food restaurants I've gone to for years to go back to this place it's just got something they don't the food is fire!!!

Horrible. The man that is frequently in there is very lazy & rude. Terrible customer service. The big dude there needs to be fired! He also hung up while we were trying to make an order to go & kept declining our calls.
