This is only the second time my wife and I we have dined at the Tavern at Zaca Creek. We have been most impressed both times. We live north of Goleta along the Gaviota Coast so making the trek into Santa Barbara is not always what we like to do, but going north into the Santa Ynez Valley is a beautiful drive. Awesome spot with a diverse menu located close to the freeway featuring wonderful cocktails and faire. The Duck Mole was a wonder old dish, and the Miso Black Cod was a light and delicious dish. The Blue Crab Beignets did not disappoint. The cute Tavern Cats 🐈⬛ also 10/10
The absolute most visually stunning restaurant in the valley. It’s off the beaten path just the perfect amount. I was already just so pleased with the atmosphere, but then I tried the food! Oh my! The very helpful waiter suggested the crab puffs as an appetizer, now I don’t like crab, but was willing to give them a try. They were absolutely delicious! My steak was cooked perfectly and the wine selection was fabulous! You must try Zaca Tavern!
