We were doing some wine tasting and stopped in for a snack. The have a full menu that looked promising. In the end we just had some wine with pita chips and dips. Not cheap at $22 but good. This place has it all. They have bar seating and seating at tables. They have room for big groups. They have space that looks like it would be great for bigger groups and weddings. It looks like you can rent cabanas. They have a petting zoo where you can feed cute goats and pigs. And they have a little store which I visited before and is stocked with wines and all manner of treats. The wine we tried was good. This place has a little something for everyone from locals to visiting wine samplers. We will return.

Had a beautiful lunch for four at their lovely vineyard. Wonderful food and reasonably priced wines, outstanding friendly service, and a charming outdoor dining setting made for a nice surprise. The viognier and GLT sandwich (gyros, lettuce, tomato) were particularly great. We will definitely come back.

I have mixed feelings about this winery. It’s definitely a nice place to hang out, especially if you have a family. But it all felt a bit overpriced, especially the wine.
This is definitely a unique place. You generally won’t find a winery with wine tasting + animal feeding + tractor rides + a playground. It almost feels like it would better belong in one of those “destination” winery areas like Temecula. It seems to be targeted to families wanting to hang out while the parents get to drink overpriced wine.
We did the tasting, and the wine was pretty underwhelming. It’s all Italian varietals, which isn’t something you’ll really find elsewhere in the area. In general these were all basic, ripe wines. But they are priced like premium wines. You can get similar quality Italian wine from an Italian producer for much cheaper.
We did the tractor ride, which was fun for the kids. They have a Scottish Highland cow penned up at the top of the hill, who was fun for the kids to feed but I felt bad for the guy. He’s completely out of his element, the 90 degree weather wasn’t doing him any favors. The Scottish Highlands are cold. One of the defining characteristics of these cows is their long hair, but this cow was completely shaved. I assume because of the heat. Much like the Italian grapes growing nearby, he doesn’t belong in this environment.
The best part of this place is the “kids area” which has a playground, picnic tables, and a wine bar. It’s nice and shaded, there’s a lot of random toys and games for the kids to play, and there’s wine for the adults. If you have a family you can hang out here for hours.
If I did revisit, I’d likely skip the restaurant / wine tasting area and go straight to the kids area. If I didn’t have kids, then I’d definitely consider this place to be skippable.

This place ROCKS! Why? Food is excellent! Wines are great! Atmosphere is homey, country, classy and comfortable, but what sets it apart is the fantastic staff. Pictured here are a well trained team of people who really enjoy what they do. They are very attentive and helpful for each other! Jimmy and Karen please take note… Bobby was our server, and he made us feel like family. But not to take away from the rest of the team. Mattie, Kate, Jared and Sebastian, all were sincere hosts and made our visit not just a luncheon, but an enjoyable experience beyond all expectations. We will be back soon, and if you are reading this, then you should go here too! We LOVE Vega Vineyard and Farm.
Oh yeah… family friendly, kids are encouraged and the petting zoo was a treat for all.
Thanks Jimmy, Karen and the rest of of your wonderful team! Rock on! 🤘

We visited Vega Vineyard & Farm—
and what can I say? It was an absolute delight.
Right at the entrance, we were blown away by the stunning view of the vineyards,
with the American flag waving proudly above a tractor, setting the scene just right.
A friendly host welcomed us warmly and seated us with genuine care.
I’m a vegetarian, my friend is vegan, and we were with someone who eats everything.
The vegan found fewer options that suited her,
but for the rest of us, the food was absolutely flawless.
The Cacio e Pepe was excellent—just wow.
And though I had a hard time picking the perfect wine (it took two tastings!),
our server, Guy, was so kind, patient, and full of good energy the whole time.
The wines were truly delicious—we all really enjoyed them.
To wrap up the experience, I went to hug the animals on the farm—
absolute sweethearts!
Thanks to the fencing design, they get to choose whether they want to be close and cuddly or keep some distance from visitors,
which I deeply appreciated.
Thank you for such a delightful experience and warm hospitality!

What an awesome place the grounds are beautiful a rustic Farm charm but clean and luxurious we fed the animals and took the tractor ride the experience was magnificent we are coming back for dinner tonight and wine tasting I highly recommend this place to anyone in the area the staff was just incredibly friendly and helpful we are absolutely in love with Vega Vineyard and farm!
Update: after talking with several employees about our desire to come back in the afternoon for early dinner and wine tasting and enjoying the entire experience no one mentioned anything about the time that they would be closing or the fact that the restaurant wasn't even open it was only the brunch which we would have loved to experience but we showed up at 3:32 not knowing that it ended at 3:30 but we were so determined to enjoy ourselves and the restaurant staff told us that Pop's place was open later and had food we decided we would go to pop's place, I purchased a cigar a lighter and a cutter and we headed to Pop's place before going down we stopped at the shop to ask if we needed to buy a bottle of wine or did they have wine there they informed me that they would be closing at Pop's place by 4:00 leaving us 20 minutes to enjoy ourselves we decided to scrap the whole thing and we'll try again some other time. Place is so beautiful and the majority of the staff was so awesome.

Loved it. Very beautiful grounds. A place for wine tasting with a lovely menu and also a separate place for kids and families to enjoy. I would call ahead and ask if food is being served at pops beforehand just in case they aren't serving that particular day. A petting zoo is there next to a gorgeous garden.

Family went to Vega Vineyard and Farm for lunch and service staff was very rude. Our small child left the table briefly and my spouse was chastised and spoken to in a very condescending manner multiple times. Food was too expensive for what you got. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I am a central California native and plan to spread the word.

Went for the first time it was nice atmosphere and good wine 🍷 Love the animals for sure ❤️ I did notice the ducks had dirty water in their pool I’m sure you Do change the their water priority will definitely come back!
This vineyard and farm combo was amazing! We stopped in on our family vacation trip down the California coast because of its mention of farm animals for kids to see and enjoy along with great wine to enjoy. It was fantastic in every way. Great food from the kitchen, fantastic wine, and great things for kids to enjoy. Bobby was phenomenal on making sure our time there was a special one.

Nice menu and tasting flight. Love Bobby's description of the wines. Really enjoyed the Albarino & Montepulciano🍷
Vega Vineyards gave us the most magical wedding day we could have imagined. With less than 30 days to plan, Jessi and Nikita went above and beyond to bring our dream to life — every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. (We absolutely adore them!!)
We had fallen in love with Vega a year prior, and it felt so special to say “I do” in a place that already held meaning for us.
The food was absolutely incredible — our guests are still talking about it (the carrots were picked that morning!). In addition to the incredible food, there’s great accommodations on site and having our family get to stay in the adobe for the weekend was a treat.
Vega will forever have a special place in our hearts and every one of the staff that supported us that weekend feels a little like family now. We’re forever grateful.
