If you have out-of-town family or friends visiting, Vega Vineyard & Farm is our absolute go-to. From the delicious food (the Caesar salad is so good) to their wine selection, it’s just one of those places that feels special without trying too hard. Add in the barn animals, the adorable gift shop, and the fun tractor ride, and it’s a win for all ages.

My cousins’ kids especially loved the tractor ride this weekend up to the top to see the Highland cow, goats, and mule, and the view of Buellton from up there is beautiful. The staff is wonderful, welcoming, and makes the whole experience even better. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a spot that truly captures the heart of the valley. Shoutout to Jessi Tupper who always makes our experience extra special when we are there!

We came for a tour of the wedding venue (and booked it!💒) and then stayed for brunch. The gyro eggs Benedict and breakfast sandwich were both amazing.
The owner and all of his staff are so kind and genuinely welcoming.
We are looking forward to many more fond memories and delicious meals here.

✨A Thanksgiving Experience Worthy of the Ritz-Carlton Standard ✨

As a small restaurant owner who treats hospitality with the same reverence as the Ritz-Carlton, it takes a lot to impress me - yet Vega Vineyard & Farm delivered an unforgettable Thanksgiving feast that exceeded every expectation.

From the moment we arrived, the service was frictionless - every request was met with a warm, effortless, “Yes, of course!” or “Absolutely!” The kind of hospitality that doesn’t feel performed. It set the tone for an experience that felt less like visiting a business and more like being welcomed home.

The Food:
Every dish was crafted with the precision you could taste and see. The lamb was melt-in-your-mouth tender, the cedar plank salmon flaked effortlessly with each bite. Even the classics shined: cranberry sauce served two ways, each offering a different expression of sweet or spicy; salads that were crisp, mashed potatoes that were whipped and buttery; stuffing savory, and the green beans crisp and tender with fresh flavor. Nothing felt mass-produced; everything felt curated.

The Atmosphere:
The outdoor setting was breathtaking, wide-open skies, vines stretching across the horizon, peaceful & quiet. It was the kind of environment that invites you to put your phone away, slow down, and actually savor the moment. Our family wandered the grounds, lingered at the table, and enjoyed every moment without rushing.

The Experience:
Feeding the Highland cow, strolling through the vineyards, the wagon ride across the property… it all felt like stepping into a storybook. The barn animals added a warmth that made the entire day feel like a memory you don’t want to leave behind. I didn’t feel like a guest-I felt like family.

For anyone looking for an elevated yet heartwarming farm-to-table experience, Vega Vineyard & Farm is a rare gem. We left full and grateful.

We recently hosted a formal for a student organization at UCSB. The food was excellent, the wine was phenomenal, and the service was the best part. We were able to accommodate our entire organization plus guests, and transportation was easy enough to coordinate. The venue was absolutely stunning for sunset and I could not recommend the venue more. Jessi was our coordinator and she helped us out with every detail. We'd absolutely consider coming back.

So my family and I made a reservation on a Sunday for 8 of us 5 adults 2 toddlers and one infant, service was ok when we first got in,wine and food were both great remind you we’ve been here plenty of times cause of the kids since they love feeding the animals. So it happened to get windy at the time of our reservation.
30 minutes in they put our umbrella down saying they are doing it to all of them also, and it’s scorching hot by the way and sun beaming, 20 minutes pass by and only ours is down so I ask what’s going on the hostess super nice by the way says idk let me ask the manager she’s a short older Latina looking lady wearing glasses, starts with to give me Crazy attitude that we can’t put our umbrella up and say the other are staying up, at that point I got my and ask to have mine put up since it was way to hot for the kids, she gives me more attitude and says it’ll be my fault if something happens, remind you again all other umbrellas are still up and there’s no more wind. So yeah she was beyond rude and unprofessional and this place is not cheap each time we go it’s about 4 to 5 hundred dollars so think twice about going. Ps at least the animals where nice

We recently hosted a baby shower at Vega Vineyards, and we cannot say enough about just how wonderful it was. The food was phenomenal, as was the service. The wine was enjoyed by all, and they also had some delicious cocktails and mocktails available. The venue was beautiful and very accommodating to our large group. Our server was amazing and seemed to anticipate each guest’s needs. Everyone commented on what a perfect afternoon it was. Thank you,Vega!

Ordered a case of wine and they never shipped it. Disappointed in the experience, still trying to rectify the charge.

Had never heard of this place before we went.
Great wine, and the kids favorite place to go now by far. Full kids play area and feeding animals? Heck yes.

One of the best wine tasting venues in the SYV! Great wine, food, and venue. Check out the farm animals. You can feed the goats and chickens!

Vega is a hidden gem of the valley. Great food, great wine, and an overall great family run business! The whole place is family friendly, but they have a dedicated kid/family area where your kids can safely play while you eat/drink. 10/10 would recommend
