Good service, but lackluster food. Very dry chicken. Pizza was the better tasting option. No ginger ale refills. Breakfast buffet was decent.

They were doing some sort of construction when we went. So we tried this place when we went to knotts and after stayed at the knotts hotel! So this is inside the hotel and you can also order room service they will bring your food right up to your door! It is on the pricey side! I did order some Hawaiian shrimp on a bed of jasmine rice since I was craving shrimp but I didnt really like the flavor it was like a sweet n sour shrimp with a lot of vegetables and didn't really sit very well with my tummy. I got two smaller kids an order of boysenberry sliders (comes with 3) and a side of fries. My other son got a huge plate of asada nachos and those were yummy! Really good tasting meat and and crispy crunchy tortilla chips. Also I got a slice of boysenberry pie a la mode...omg it was to die for! It did have tiny grainy seeds in it but it really didn't bother any of us including the small kids. After I took a kids meal up to the room it came with a delicious grilled cheese sandwich on sourdough bread and a side of fries! That was really good also! The kids meal was $10.99 though so it was pricey i think it should be half that. But overall the rest of the food was good but the prices were killing me! And the shrimp wasn't to my liking. I think I was looking for more of a shrimp cocktail flavor. Overall I would probably eat here again if I'm staying at the hotel but I won't go out of my way to go eat here, Unless you don't mind the prices haha. Enjoy!

This place was amazing. We got a coupon for starting the hotel and this place didn't disappoint. The cocktails were only $7.50 each. The tortilla soup was delicious and packed with veggies. The steak salad was yummy and I loved the two types of olives in it. Corinna was our server and was absolutely phenomenal. She accommodated us and our many questions and needs without hesitation and she was just so delightful. Earlier in the evening we got some drinks to go and they were fabulous. I would recommend this place and will be back when visiting Knotts.

We recently had dinner here and the food was great! The pepperoni pizza was really good and the chipotle boysenberry chicken sandwich was delicious! Hope the quality of everything stays after the remodel. Definitely the best food at Knott’s.

It was very nice to go to a place in a theme park hotel and not spend my whole budget.Pros:Service - I have never been to a restaurant where my main server, went to break and a new server took over and introduced themselves. Normal you just don't see a server during that time.Food - Pizza was very good.Cons:It was cold, we were right under a vent. This was my only con.

Only tried the breakfast buffet here and wasn't impressed. We stayed at the hotel adjacent to hotel. Food was put out sparingly and the restaurant looks like it's never been cleaned. So much dust and filth all around. Gross! Server forgot us and we never got coffee.

My waiter was so accommodating! I asked for a different type of whiskey in the Pumpkin-tini and they did! The drink is seasonal and great start and finish to a meal. The Harvest salad was delicious! Love the blue cheese and walnut mixed!

I wanted to take a minute to truly thank the staff of Amber Waves. They did a phenomenal job and I applaud them for their service. I personally want to extend my gratitude to the managers "Ronald and Gio" for treating us like royalty. They were diligent with planning my nephews birthday party and did everything possible to make it as smooth as possible. Thank you both. Alex...wow...the server. There isn't enough words in the American language to vividly describe his exceptional Beverly Hills Fine Dining Michelin Star Service. This man single-handedly served a large party of 20 with flawless touches. He was impeccable and didn't hesitate to make our party feel like a Winter Gale. He truly became the surfing champion of Amber Waves. We hit the ocean lottery with him. Thank you to Angel in the front. His smile and personality warmed our souls. God bless you Maddie. We kept seeing you work work and work ...effortlessly just to see us happy. Food Drinks Ambiance all a perfect score. Please ignore the bad reviews. I've been here many many times and I can tell you they're just a bunch of internet bullies that have nothing better to do. I've never ever had a bad experience. My family has never had a bad anything here. We will return...except this time with twice as many people!!!!

I I would give it 2.5 stars if I could so had to round down. This review is of the breakfast buffet that came with our hotel, park and dining package on a recent stay. The restaurant is very nicely decorated and a perfect place to eat with your family. We stayed three nights and it included the breakfast buffet which on the first day was just ok. For instance, the staff was not replenishing the hot items regularly. So we just dealt with it due to a time constraint. It was 9ish in the a.m. on a Friday and they were running low on biscuits which were hard and cold and the gravy was like wallpaper paste. The chef replenishing the buffet seemed annoyed when asked questions about when missing items might be ready. In general, all of the hot food seemed under temperature all three mornings regardless of the time we ate there. The staff seems weeded or spread thin so getting refills of coffee and other drinks was a challenge. It supposedly is a $22.00 value but doesn't feel like a good one given one you get. There is no bread for toast or bagels so you have to know to ask the staff for this, " secret menu hack" as one server told us the second day. How very In-N-Out of them. By the third day, we just settled because it was included. I'd probably order off the regular menu and know that the food would be hot and maybe more consistent. Maybe try some other breakfast places nearby to have some variety on a getaway.

Went here tonight to try and get a simple take out order. It was not so simple. I should have listened to the 1-3 star reviews relating to poor service. They were a common problem. Tonight was no different for my situation. And I have to literal receipts to prove it. I ordered take out from the hostess and sat about 20-25 feet away within earshot of the register, definitely within line of sight. I waited... And waited... And waited. Keep in mind the restaurant closed at 10p, I ordered at 9ish. No dinner rush hour in progress. I ordered a chicken salad. Everything in this dish was prepped prior to service. I waited over 30 min for my order and it still wasn't ready. The 3 hostesses in the front were busy in the front talking and on their cell phones. I went up to cancel my order, and the hostess stated that she would go check on the order because it might be ready - also grab the manager so I could get my refund. Had I not brought to attention my order, still pending at 945p (15 min til closing), I would have still been waiting. I should have listened to the other Yelpers when they commented on the terrible service and avoided this place. Now I know better.

We've had breakfast, birthday meals, thanksgiving buffet and just had a drink at the bar. Always great and speedy service. The food is always prepared the way we order it and hot. Knotts punch is always sweet and cold and the coffee is hot and fresh. Bartenders are eager to please even if they don't know exactly what the drink is.. I would recommend going anytime.

Came here for Thanksgiving buffet. Upon arrival they didn't have my name down. Luckily I had my reservation number and the name of the person I spoke too. My reservation number belonged to someone else. They accommodated us though, and sat us after a short wait. Our waiter Alex was nothing great, upon bringing our drinks to the table he couldn't remember which was diet and which was root beer, our waiter right in front of us sniffed our drinks!!! I was like WTH, I have never seen anyone sniff drinks to determine which was which. Upon getting our check 18% gratuity was already added. I had never agreed anywhere to paying 18% gratuity. I thought it was excessive for the buffet and where the service was just sup par. I spoke too the manager who said we could change it if we wanted, due to the incident with the waiter. I ended up leaving it. But our total with the tip was nearly 200 dollars for 3 adults and one kid! Won't be back

We all had hamburgers for late lunch (was quite good). The staff was very friendly and gave us great recommendations for our next visit!!
