Excellent clean Korean food with authentic taste, thoughtfully presented. Homemade feel and kind service, highly recommend the GalbiTang with its generous portion of meat. Mandu is hand made and delicious as well.

The service was so friendly, it felt like you were eating at aunties house. We had the short rib soup and the brisket soup. Both were so clean and flavorful! The real highlight is the banchan. The radish kimchi and the fish cakes were my favorite. This place will definitely be in our weekly rotation!

The food here was tremendous the first time I visited…

However, all that gets overshadowed with my bad experience ordering to go here.

The food is definitely not as good ordering to go, but my biggest gripe is that they only give you kimchi and kimchi radish! Two side dishes that I am assuming are the cheapest to make when they have 5+ side dishes when you eat in.

I 100% believe this is because to go orders do not tip and the server/owner lady is grifting paying customers because of this. The fish cakes at the very least would be nice. We even asked if this is all the side dishes we get for to go order and she said sorry that’s all we have to give.

BS lame excuse and something like this is a red flag when it comes to customer service. Next time I eat in, I will strongly considering not leaving any tip.

Had the Gom Tang and Spicy Galbi Jjim — both slapped harder than Sun Nong Dan.

Small spot, big flavor. Quiet now, but not for long.

Service? 10/10. You’re welcome.

I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner at this charming, home-style restaurant recommended by my sister, who often orders takeout from here. Though the space itself is rather small and cozy, it has clearly earned a solid reputation among locals for its exceptional 곰탕 (Gomtang)—a traditional Korean beef soup that stands as the restaurant’s signature dish.

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and served by an attentive and genuinely friendly waitress, whose thoughtful service set the tone for the meal. We can often gauge the quality of a Korean restaurant by small but important details—such as the presentation of the food containers, the freshness and flavor of the 반찬 (side dishes), and the careful curation of the menu—and this place passed on all fronts. The 반찬 were fresh, flavorful, and plentiful, offering the perfect complement to the main dishes. The highlight of my meal was definitely the 형제 곰탕 (Brother’s Gomtang). The broth was clean and rich, reminiscent of the classic 이북식 원반 (North Korean-style beef soup) with its deep, clear, and satisfying meat flavor. The slices of beef were tender and of high quality, and dipping them into the savory sauce provided by the restaurant added an extra layer of taste that I truly enjoyed. We also tried the steamed 김치만두 (Kimchi Dumplings). While they were a bit spicier than I typically prefer, the flavor was well-balanced and satisfying. There are still many other items on the menu I’m eager to try—especially with a glass of soju to complement the hearty dishes next time.

What makes this restaurant stand out is its dedication to authentic, home-style Korean comfort food, served in a clean, and welcoming environment. The friendly, attentive staff enhance the overall dining experience, making it a place I want to return to—not just for the food, but for the warmth and care that comes with every visit. I hope they maintain both quality and service to prolong their business. 초심을 잃지 맙시다.

Authentic Korean Comfort Food

I had a chance to try their ggomtang and jokbal muchim, and both dishes were hearty, home-style, and absolutely satisfying. It’s a great spot to enjoy with some soju, as most of the food pairs perfectly with it.

I usually like to have a slice of lemon with my soju, but was surprised when the server mentioned there was a charge—and even more so when it arrived looking withered and tired. Most places offer that complimentary, so that was a bit of a letdown.

The restaurant itself is tidy, and while the banchan is basic, it’s still fresh and tasty. Overall, I’d recommend this place if you're in the mood for Korean comfort food with a relaxed, homey vibe.

This is an extremely clean and tidy restaurant—whether it's the floors or the tables, everything is spotless, giving a very comfortable dining experience. Their Korean 'Seolleong tang' (ox bone soup) is truly delicious, rich in flavor with a deep, savory beef broth. The service is also excellent, making the overall experience wonderful. I absolutely love the taste of their food and will definitely return often. I highly recommend my friends to try it too!

I finally made it to a place I’ve been wanting to try for ages. It was busy, so you can tell it’s really popular. The gomtang was really tasty—the broth was delicious and it had lots of meat. The crispy kimchi pancake was a hit with my kid too. I definitely want to go back and try more from the menu!

The beef short rib soup was so delicious! So much flavor and very generous with the amount of meat they give you. Also we got a plate of grilled Kalbi, it was perfectly grilled and the meat quality is top notch here.

Okay, so I don’t leave reviews very often but I have to for this business. As of writing this review, I have been here twice and the food is really good. I mean really good. I found this place on google and decided to try it out because I love anything korean broth/tang. This place I must say is the best. The high quality of ingredients used and quantity of food given is definitely better than the many many other tang places I have been to. Plus the price is comparable. The galbi tang that I ordered had an ample amount of galbi and the meat was so tender, it just slid off the bone. I am not in any way associated with this restaurant and this is a completely honest, unbiased review. Just a heads up, if you order the brisket gom tang, try it first before you put salt in. Salt is usually added to gom tang to add flavor but I didn’t have to which tells me that this restaurant seasons their broth adequately.

For me, this is No.1 Gom tang, and No.2 Galbi tang in California. (No.1 Gallican is Daeho in Milpitas, CA) I personally recommend you to try their Gom Tang if you love Galbi Tang.
