I got invite to the Fiesta Birthday party and I have sweet tooth and by the time they sing HPBD and cut the cakes (they had 3 cakes) and my most favorites one of all 3 is Horchata and I had to ask to know who made those cakes. Now let me tell you about the Horchata cake. The cake decorations was amazing look @ the picture, the texture of the cake was so moist, No too sweet, I ate 1 bite and couldn't stop and had to go for second piece. I have my son birthday this October and will definitely stop by and order it. I used to ordered cakes from others places, but this is the first and will be my only favorite choice from now on HORCHATA IT IS will definitely recommend to my friends and my family to try this cake shop !!

They say great food is made from the heart. I recently had the good fortune of savoring Calico cakes at a catered event. The Horchata was fabulous - light, fluffy, and not overly cinnamon-y. The Chocolate, light and fluffy too, was rich and smooth. Needless to say, the cakes added to a memorable evening. They were literally icing on the cake for me!

I've been going to Calico for the past 5 years and they are the BEST! They have all the baking supplies you need and the BEST brownies in the world! Their cakes are amazing! Extremely fair priced! I moved and still visit Calico when I come to town for baking needs and treats!!

How disgusting. I called and order premade icing for 50 cupcakes. Sent my husband to pick up the order he came home with 38 POUNDS of icing. Who the HELL uses 3/4 pound of icing per cupcake?. I called and was told, well next time he should know how much he needs. NO NEXT TIME! and where is YOUR EXPERTISE AND ADVICE. RIPPED OFFAND SHAME ON YOU CALICO!

Had a delicious graduation cake from here that was super moist and flavorful. The strawberry fruit filling between each of the 4 layers was an amazing compliment to the white cake and the frosting perfectly sweet without being overpowering. I'm already planning the next event cakes to get!!

This was my first time ever ordering from this cake shop. I had a wonderful experience ordering my custom birthday cake. I ordered a 6 inch funfetti custom cake with horchata mousse. The horchata mousse filling was delicious, it tasted just like horchata. The cake was also very moist and not too sweet. I attached the inspiration/reference picture I wanted my cake to look like, and they replicated the picture perfectly!! I ordered my cake over the phone and the receptionist was very friendly. When I picked up my cake, I had no problems occur and the woman helping me was so kind and complimented the cake. I would definitely order a cake here again.

I wish I knew about this place when I was still living in California! This is such a find and most of the confectionary and equipment I need for baking. The cashier was so friendly and helped me find all the candy melt that I needed.The place looked big on the outside but surprisingly cramped inside. The items are organized accordingly and there's a staff that can help you find what you needThe only thing I have a problem was the location. You wouldn't be able to find the place unless you were looking for it. My brother recommended me the place and I told him I never heard of the place. Very odd, considering the place has been around since the 70s.

The story seems bigger by moving shelves around and they're all great staff keep up the good work staff everyone loves you that comes here. They have every kind of candy mold, boxes for different types of candy, decorations for cakes, several toppings, all colors, cake classes, etc. when you come for the first time, it looks like it's a tiny little shot but when you go in it's a good size one. I love this candy store and they seem to have the best candy than all the other places including Michael's. we love you calico cake!

Today I came in for thanksgiving sprinkles and blue fondant. I grabbed it and the blue fondant was ROCK hard. I checked the expiration date & it had expire May 2021. I grabbed packets from the back of that one & they were all expired. I don’t recommend buying their buttercream or chocolate or anything edible… who knows when they change it.

This place may look small but oh boy are they stocked with just about anything you can possibly need for your creations. Brought my mom here and she went nuts. Regularly buys their printed edible oreo sheet and they are perfect every time! Any custom orders are done quickly & professionally. Great quality chocolate and all the folks there are kind and helpful!
