Really love the taste of these light fluffy cheesecakes. Not too sweet.

We saw this place while walking around the plaza and decided to give it a try. The worker told us their most popular item was the cheesecake, but we opted to try the cheesetella. The cheesetella is the original castella sponge cake but with cheddar cheese in the middle. We were excited to give it a try but the cheese was disappointing as it did not add much flavor to the cake. The cake was also a little dry.

Tried their most famous Cheesetella, for me, it's basically a lightly sweetened sponge cake. Over the years I had bought Uber cheesetella for a friend's birthday, it's definitely more photogenic but taste wise, I wasn't impressed. Then one day I was really craving dessert and they happened to have only original cheesetella and cheesecake so I gratefully took the cheesecake. It wasn't bad first few bites, very similar to Uncle Tetsu. However, half way finish the cake, there's an inconsistent texture like it wasn't baked through or didn't mixed well. For now, Cheesetella is a No go to me

Ordered online. Cheesecakes were tasty! Got the traditional and ube; traditional was the favorite ?

My friends and I got the Ube cheesecake and it was so delicious! It was the perfect amount of moist and fluffy and wasn't overly sweet. We were obsessed with it! Would definitely come back again!

I go to the Source often and usually stop by Cheesetella once a month. The first time I bought, probably 1.5 year ago, it was great 5 out of 5 stars. It's so fluffy and soft. After that the quality depends on your luck. Sometimes I got the shorter piece and more dense. Sometimes too dry. This time I got the piece that fluffy at the top and the bottom is dry and hard. I wish it's more consistent with the quality with the price went up and the piece gets smaller.

I'm a bit late to doing this review but here goes; better late than never! My girlfriend and I picked up two Japanese Cheesecakes from here for Mother's Day this past Sunday. It was a bit hard to find at The Source at first; but after 5 minutes of walking around we found it just fine. There is no inside so you just take your baked goods to go or eat them around the area at a table. One thing that did bother me was they have multiple menus. One on Yelp, one big menu on the side of the building, and a smaller menu next to the window where you order. I was bothered by this because on Yelp it said they serve Ube & Regular Japanese cheesecakes. But when we got there both menus on the location said nothing about Ube. Second, on the menu of the side of the building it shows different cheesecakes, drinks, sauces, and other items. I had asked the cashier about the sides of sauce, because a side of strawberry sauce sounds good right? She had no idea what we were talking about and said we don't have that on our menu. So we said really? Why do you offer it on this menu? And she told us that, that menu isn't accurate and that they don't have those items. If there's incorrect information on your menu I feel like it's your responsibility until the menu gets fixed to make a new sign or even tell the customers what you're offering or not offering at that time. Such an annoying first time but will definitely be back again. To a different location.

This location is kind of strange with its setup. You order and never see the person inside throughout the whole process. There is a lot of signage up covering the plastic so you just pay and get your baked good under the glass. Something felt kinda weird and impersonal about this to me.But anywayssssssssss, this is a grab and go place so it's mostly about the eats. I've had their chocolate at another location & loved it. But this time, I came for the name sake Castella with cheese in it...THE Cheesetella.I actually enjoyed this quite a bit. It might not sound great putting cheese into this light & fluffy dessert, but it worked really well. You get a huge (imho) block of the baked good which I actually divide and freeze into small portions. Loved the flavor and would get the cheesetella again...but I still like the chocolate best! Next on my hit list: The Ube Castella!

I loved their creamtella from other locations but this location was not the best. I kept on finding weird stuff inside of the cream. It looks like the cream container was jot properly cleaned and crumbles fell in…

This place is honestly a disappointment every time I have been. I always have hopes when coming here but this is probably it for me at Cheesetella. The last time I came was with my in laws because we wanted to introduce them to something new. After having dinner upstairs we walked here to split a cheesecake. We got their seasonal Ube Cheesecake, which was $15. The cheesecake ended up being very small. We asked for an extra box which they said would cost an additional $1. We also asked for forks and napkins but they they were out of napkins and only would give us 2 forks. The cheesecake ended up tasting dry, old and the ube flavor tasted artifical. There's only one employee working. Such disappointment. It is definitely not worth it to drive all the way to the Source, find parking, and walk to this place. Barely worth it if you are already there having dinner. Also, the place is really just a stand. You walk up to order and they just package your item. Cheesetella will not be having me again.

I've been craving japanese-styled cheesecakes from watching Youtube. Where I live, there are only cheesecake factories (the restaurant chain).. So I came here while shopping for korean groceries, and.. wow! There was no wait at all because the cheesecake was already made and ready-to-go, yet it was so soft and delicious. The cheesecake even jiggles a bit in the box because of how fluffy and soft the texture it is. The cheesecake came out just as it looks in the pictures.

I always wanted to eat that delicious fluffy bread and we finally did it we bought one for both of us it was so good. The only bad thing it’s that they weren’t selling drinks.
