I paid $200 for this meal, and it was a complete waste of money:The mung bean pancakes were half-way burnt, and the inside had a faint smell of off food. The inside of radish and carrots chunk in the galbi jjim (braised short ribs) were half-way cold. The garlic cloves were stale, and the sesame oil dip had no sesame oil flavor at all.It seems like the owner doesn't even taste their own food. The waitress was nice, though.I paid $200 including tip, but I felt it was a waste of money. Half of the mung bean pancake came out burnt and had a slightly sour smell on the inside, the carrot and radish inside of the braised ribs came out cold (as if they had been frozen), the raw garlic smelled sour, the ssammu tasted like green radish, and the sesame oil sauce had no sesame oil smell at all. It seems like the owner doesn't try his own restaurant's food. I didn't complain one by one, but the waitresses tried to fix the problem when I raised it.

We recently had a family gathering at the restaurant.Food was fantastic. We ordered assorted traditional Korean dishes and they were all well prepared and tasted great.I personally ordered the fresh cod soup and it was very good.My wife ordered braised sablefish (black cod) dish and that was very good as well. I walked away completely stuffed!Portions were good as well.Prices are on the bit high side but so is everything these days it seems.Restaurant was clean and the staff was very polite.Great experience overall.

We had a lunchtime meeting on January 22nd, and the beef stew was served in just an hour, so we tasted it and then blackened it seven times. How many times have they been re-cooked and how much water has been poured into the third soup so that it is almost like plain water, and some pieces of meat have been boiled to the point where it tastes like chewing threads. I ended up changing my diet, but thinking about it now still makes me nauseous. Of course it looks like a ruined house.

Thursday, January 4, 2024I went to ChoseonokI am writing this for the first time in my life, expressing how sorry I am when a relative came from Korea to treat me to a meal. The order was braised monkfish and pork bossam. No matter how expensive it is, there is no such thing as steamed monkfish and bean sprouts for four people. Moreover, there is not even a single seaweed deodeok in the pork bossam.I asked because it tasted strange. They say he’s a male pig singer.Haha, it's amazing. How can I have friends in a place like this?Relatives, never again like Cho Seon-okI'm not going

As soon as we walked in, the woman pointed to their "not all you can eat" sign and rudely told us, "Not all you can eat." I said, "ok sure that's fine." Then she blocked the entry into the restaurant and told us to look at the menu first. We just told her no thank you and decided to eat elsewhere. We travel to knotts many times throughout the year, and stay within walking distance of the park and this restaurant...and many others, and have always wanted to try out this place, however, now we never will thanks to this woman's rude manner in how she runs her restaurant. ?‍♀️

The waiting time at other K-BBQ restaurants was more than 30 minutes, but amazingly there was no waiting time at this place. It is quite concerning because it makes me wonder why.
You might want to come to this restaurant to have Korean food dishes only, not the BBQ. It's worrying to see that despite having 8 tables filled with customers, they only have 2 waitresses to cook our BBQ. We ended up having to cook our own BBQ, which is not normal in K-BBQ restaurants where waiters or waitresses usually take care of that. On top of that, the marinated beef was incredibly tough and chewy, almost like I was chewing on rubber. It's disheartening to think that there are other K-BBQ restaurants that are not only cheaper but also offer better quality food and service. Reading other people's reviews further highlights why it's best to avoid this restaurant. If the owner wants to keep the business open, they should really pay attention to these reviews.

At other meat restaurants, you have to wait more than 30 minutes, but here there was no waiting, so I came here and the restaurant was deserted. I'd rather wait at another restaurant.
First of all, there were about 6 tables, but only one woman served (one more person came later), so we ended up grilling and eating the meat. The meat was also too tough so I complained. I went there in a good mood, but the meat and service weren't that great... I regretted going to Arisu and having better service and better meat at a lower price than here, even if I had to wait 30 to 40 minutes. These days, there are more and more rumors that Cho Seon-ok is not that good, so the owner should be worried about this.

Food was very good and prices were fair considering how much food you get. Service wasnt too often, but we didn't need much to begin with anyway. Very pleased with this place.

The prices were higher than other restaurants and the quality of the meat was poor and it wasn’t what I ordered.

Meat combo. The portion was large and the meat was very soft. It's a good restaurant for family gatherings.
