When my mother went to order the hot pot and asked if she could give me wasabi soy sauce, the staff member bluntly told me that I had to tell her in advance when ordering over the phone... Not only did she say this to my mother, but she also said the same thing to the other customer standing next to me. I guess it was a service, but it was good value for money. Looking at it, Hawaiian Garden Hyeonpung Gomtang is better haha.

I stopped by this place during lunch hour, I was recommended th Gamja Tang Lunch special by the waitress how seem to primarily speak Korean (good sign the food is legit). The plate was huge and it came in with plenty of little side dishes, as you can see on the picture.Price was super affordable for all the food I was served. This is the first time I've tried this specific plate, but based on pure taste buds, the food was great and I would love to come back to try the rest of the menu.

My wife wanted to try Gam ja Tang and I was totally up for it. Calm Atmosphere before Lunch Time Rush. The first taste... brought back font memories of South Korea. It can't compare to S. Korea...but, it came very close. My wife said it had too many bones. I had to suck the bones dry...for her. No Problem!!!

I have been here a few times and always enjoy the food. It's not fancy but pretty authentic Korean food. But the last time I was there, I drank so much water afterwards. Not sure what happened that night. I probably will go back but not for a while...

They carry a little bit of old school ambiance probably due to many "older gentlemen" customers whom seem to be enjoying their meal with friends. Service was excellent and the food portion was generous as shown in the photos.

Spicy Pork Stew is their go to dish. It is very tasty. If you are Latino very similar to Pozole with out the hominy. Small assortment of banchan. It's almost considered a hole in the wall dining. Service was good.

My wife and I were in the mood for Korean stew and we found this modest restaurant in Buena Park, near Beach and La Mirada. What struck us right away were the selection of stews and soups. She ordered the gamjatang, and I ordered the bulgogi soup in hot pot. The gamjatang came to us in a hot pot with an oily bright red broth filled with large chunks of pork bones. As we expected, the pork was fall of the bone good. But you have to break it apart to get at all the goodness in between the bones. My bulgogi came in a clear broth with thin glass noodles. The broth was rich in beef flavor, with a hint of sweetness that rounded out the dish. This is probably one of the best meals we have had in this area of Buena Park, which is saying a lot considering all the wonderful choices nearby.

Super delicious gam ja tang and their sides! We got one order and fed three people with leftovers! I would recommend going with friends and getting some beer and soju as well :)
