Overall food and staff are amazing. On of the main cooks "Juan" or smt i didn't hear it properly. Is an amazing cook. He knows how to properly cook very high quality food at record speed. The ISSUE was the boss. She was constantly yelling at employees. I can tell the employees didn't understand them. But her screaming and yelling was like a tantrum. Then we walked back to her office as it was packed outside. As a manager or owner aren't you be the one who knows everything. All i see her do in rush hour is yell at employees and pour out rice.LEARN TO COOK YOUR OWN RESTURAUNTS MENUSTOP BEING LAZY AND ORDERING THEM AROUND LIKE SOME DICTATOROther than her the staff and food is amazing.Keep it up!

I was so stoked when I saw that there was a Golden bowl close to garden grove! I used to live close to their original one in West Covina and man it brought back some delicious memories.This one in Burma Park is another branch but the food is just not quite the same as the one in West Covina. The cooks over there have some sort of magic touch to their chicken burrito that makes it’s extra delicious, the one over here was a tad bit lazier.HOWEVER, the food still tasted amazing! The cashier was incredibly helpful and fast with placing the order despite the line and the food came out great, not perfect, but 4/5 isn’t all that bad!The cheese in my chicken burrito wasn’t fully melted so maybe that’s why it didn’t have that magic touch, but it still brought back memories of my high school days where I didn’t have to do adult things like pay the bills…

The food is great and the servers are professionals, however the cooks are loud and their music is way too loud, which overloads my sensory system. My score would have been higher if it wasn’t for the ridiculous music and loud banter of the cooks. Rude.
I'm not sure why the reviews are negative. Whenever I visit this place, the chicken is always fresh, and the staff are consistently friendly. Among all the teriyaki options, this is my top choice.

My wife and I found a fabulous place near Knots Berry Farm today for a healthy meal. Food and service at Golden Bowl was top quality.Better quality food and service than Waba Grill.We hope to see a Golden Bowl in San Diego soon. ✅
Bad service. Been coming here for years and they did not let us order teriyaki chicken bowls substituting the rice with veggies for a healthier option. Ended up not ordering since I was looking for something on the healthy side. Definitely recommend Orange Grill. Went here while I was in town with a friend and I have craved the beef and chicken teriyaki plate for the last 3 months I live in San Diego but it's so worth the drive the food is that good. Anyway we can get Golden Bowl in San Diego ? The price is worth it for the amount of food you get. Me and my friend shared a plate and still have food left over. But for reals we need you in San Diego
Have no clue how the food taste because I wouldn't trust eating it!! As soon as you walk in ,the entire establishment is filthy. No customers, the staff does not greet you. No gloves and the chef was eating at the prep area. Let's not mention how the counter you pay at is covered with used makeup and cosmetics. Disgusting!!!! Health inspection needed at this dump

They gave me terrible reheated fries. Worst fries i ever had. Insulting quality. Trying to get off on people is ridiculous. I have never left a review before but this quality warranted it. Also the cooks were cleaning while cooking. Unsanitary.
