Been coming here forever. The later it is, the busier it gets so we try to get here early if we know we want pork belly. The four of us were sat immediately at 5:30 on a rainy Saturday evening. Every single one of the boys who works here is on top of their game. As it gets crazier in the evenings, they can be a bit scarcer, but considering what they do, I absolutely do not fault them. The pork belly has absolutely slapped for the last 10 years, and I expect nothing less for the next 10. The steamed egg does take a good 15-20 minutes to come out, so pace yourself if you do order one.

I and my girlfriend had the best Korean BBQ around this area. I highly recommend the "HONEY PIG SPECIAL PROK BELLY!!!!"Its super juicy and savory. You don't want to miss it. The servers were very friendly and they were serving very fast! I will definitely come here regularly with my friends. 5 stars!!

On a Sunday afternoon, this place was empty O_0 I came here with a party of four people, so we got to share three orders of meat and enjoy the rice that comes after the meal.I would say the food here is very enjoyable. The grill is circular, almost like a small hill. The kimchi and bean sprouts were cooking on the perimeter to soak up the fat dripping from the meat cooking in the center of the grill. The service is great because they cook for you!! I definitely recommend getting the pork belly. The ribeye is more pricy, but it's worth it.Parking is ample in their lot that they share with Kaju Tofu (which is another great soontofu place btw). They're a walk away from the Target on the I5/91 fwy.

I like the food but not the prce. The premium meats were a bit over priced for he portion given but delicious. The waiter was nice; he cooked the meats for us so that was a plus. However I felt a little rushed with the waiter hovering over to service and cook your food. The environment was busy and loud with other conversations. I would definitely go again maybe with less people in the group so its not so expensive.

This was my first time coming to Honey Pig, and I have to say the experience completely blew me away! We arrived and found parking easily in the lot. Even though it was a super busy Saturday night, we were quickly seated and the server promptly took our order. We ordered brisket and the boneless short rib. The meats arrived within a few minutes and the servers buttered the grill before cooking the meat. The brisket was super tender and the butter gave it a rich flavor that paired really well with the free scallion salad and grillled kimchi. The star of the show though was the boneless short rib, which was very well-marbled and melted in our mouths! After we finished our meats, they cooked the complimentary kimchi fried rice on the grill, which was the perfect ending to our meal. Honey Pig was by far one of the best Kbbq I've had in SoCal, and I can't wait to go back! The restaurant is clean, the staff are friendly, and the food quality is unparalleled!

I come here every time I'm in the OC and they never disappoint. They have a large space so the wait is never too bad and they have lots of free parking. The meat is really high quality which makes the hour drive from LA worth it. I always feel like I'm getting my money's worth and never feel sick afterwards unlike at many AYCE places. I also saw other reviews mention the slippery floor. They actually redid their floors recently - its not slippery at all so you can tell they really care about customer feedback! The service is quick and efficient. I love that they cook the meat for you and the fried rice at the end can't be beat either!

For one, please be prepared since this is a grimy restaurant. Oil is everywhere.... Literally on the floors you walk. You can litterally see oily foot prints while heading to the restroom. my 60 year old mother almost slipped and ate it. It's like you did an oil based skincare routine but it's actually just the grease from your restaurant. There was film of oil on my phone from leaving it on the wooden BOOTH for 10 min. My 5 year old literally just stood up off from the wooden bench and due to the oily floor he slipped backwards and his back hit the bench. Cried for a good 5 minutes with a bruise on his spine. For food we ordered: 1) pork jowl 4/5 which was pretty decent nice crisp and fatty flavor. 2) Short ribs: 3/5 maybe it was the day but it was a lot chewier than usual. big chunks of meat 3) "Thinly" sliced pork belly 2/5 : more like thicc slices of pork belly. Couldn't get crisp enough as how I usually have it at kbbq places 4) steamed egg 2/5 : a whopping 8 dollar for a bland egg but nice dome shape but I'm here for flavor not aesthetics Service: -1/5 The guy with the tattoo on his left arm and backwards hats with the B on it kept overlooking our table for some reason. We kept asking for the fried rice in the end but he literally did every other tables fried rice except ours. BRO my family literally sat down ate for a little over half an hour and wanted our fried rice so we can pay and leave. I have a tired 3 and 5 year old so we always try our best to eat fast and leave so they don't get annoying. To sum up: I left this restaurant with a bruised child, oily skin that's gonna break out probably tomorrow, and a fat bill.

Always good experience here at honey-pig!!!! If you want traditional pork-belly and kimchi combo on the hot lid you must come here for the delicious treat. Servers are quick with their feet, always there when you need them to ask for something. The best part about the honey pig is that servers cook the meat for you!!! Their honey pig special pork-belly is a must!!! Will be back soon!!!!!!!!!

I loved coming to this place back when I was younger because two portions of meat would easily fill up a family of two to three people because at the end of the meal, they get rice, some veggies, and mix it with everything left on the platter. I just came here tonight for the first time since covid hit and it was a very underwhelming experience. We arrived around 5 PM just as the dinner rush hit but a friend and I waited about ten minutes to be seated. We ordered two portions of meat including brisket and pork belly. The amount of brisket given was abysmal and the taste was lacking. The pork belly was good but the portions were pretty sad as well. For a premium price of $33-$35 per portion, it's a huge ripoff. During the meal, I asked for more hot sauce because they start you off with a small spoonful but I never received it. The service here used to be great and efficient but now they barely come around to cook the meat for you. You have to do it yourself now unless you want to eat burnt meat. For two ridiculously small portions of meat and a bottle of beer, it costed us about $80. If you pay with card, they will add 10% to your existing bill. Terrible service, low quality meats, ridiculous prices. I loved this place growing up but I cannot recommend this place anymore. Save your money and go somewhere else.

One of the best KBBQ in OC! First of all service is great, the food came out quickly and someone was always there to help cook our meat and take our order. I love the grilled Kimchi and honey pig pork belly. The pork belly was so good and crispy. I love how they cook everything on a cast iron skillet. Even the steamed egg came out perfectly cooked with pretty looking dome shape. My favorite was when they have rice paper, not a lot of KBBQ place serve them anymore and it's my FAVORITE thing to eat with KBBQ. After the meal they end up mixing the grilled bean sprouts/ kimchi/ egg into fried rice cooked on top of the skillet topped with melted cheese. It was delicious! Can't wait to come back for my next KBBQ craving. The only thing I would complain is that my husband was in the bathroom with a server and he told me left without even washing his hands, which is super unsanitary.

This place is gross. To start off, the floor is SO greasy they have a warning not to wear golf shoes because you can slip. Even without gold shoes floor is terribly slippery due to all the accumulation of grease, maybe a good degreaser would be good. The food: they skimp you on the meat. The meat is sold per plate at a high price yet the servings are too small. The sides, kimchee, bean sprouts, and pumpkin (one piece). Where are all the regular side dishes typically offered at a kbbq restaurant? The food is definitely not worth the amount you pay. We ordered 3 meat plates paid over $110. Service is meh. Yeah they cook for you, but when you order extra sides they take forever to come and bring you small portions. Not a typical kbbq experience. Overall seems like they are trying to be a high end kbbq spot like quarters, but don't offer the same quality meat, service, or anything. Terrible experience, don't waste your money and go to the soft tofu house across the street instead or to a better kbbq spot.
