If you're a Matcha AND HONEY lover, HoneyMee's Matchagato is a happy marriage of both! The Matcha pour over tasted exactly how a ceremonial grade Matcha should taste... clean, earthy... just perfect! The gooey drizzled honey tasted pure and not artificial, plus that true milk ice cream truly was creamy, refreshing, & delightful with those bits of ice crystals in it too! Wish the size was bigger as it was that good but affogatos are meant to be small. For that small of a size though, thought the price was quite steep IMO, but I'd pay extra for legit Ceremonial grade Matcha anything! Service was average; nothing above-average or anything. Just plainly took my order, but have to admit the order did come out pretty fast...considering the cashier herself prepared the order. I have to say that the location of this dessert place is kind of odd as it's connected to a Car Wash place. So if you're not looking hard enough for the black & white stripe awning, you can totally miss this hidden gem. Regardless of its odd location & priceyness, the Matchagato, especially the Ceremonial grade Matcha, was so divine, I'd come back for this AND actually would like to try their other Matcha offerings!

Normally, I really enjoy Honeymee's ice cream. I have been to the locations in Little Tokyo and on Sawtelle many times, but this is the first time I have been to the Buena Park location. The location is a little odd as it is attached to a car wash/gas station. I have driven into the plaza it's in many times and thought Honeymee was the name of the carwash as the ice cream stall is so easily missed. I ordered my usual, the Sweetie, which is the milk ice cream with honey drizzle. Normally at the other locations and as seen on Honeymee's menu, the honey is drizzled at the bottom and the sides of the cup before the ice cream is added, then topped with honey drizzle again. This time, I was extremely disappointed, because they only put a tiny drizzle on the top, nothing on the sides or bottom. For the price point it is at, this was disappointing. Not sure if the quality at this location is just different. Hope the experience next time or at the other locations will be better!

If you're a coffee lover, the honey affogato is amazing! The chocolate one was tasty as well! I hate chocolate but one random night I had the biggest craving for soft serve from cramping and the idea of sea salt + chocolate on ice cream sounded amazing! And it was! This was a great last minute decision (: I purchased two ice cream cups ( chocolate + honey affogato) for $11.75. Not my typical pricing because I'm a thrifty goer & the servings are the biggest but for the toppings and freshness, i did not feel guilty at all for spending the $ and actually felt like it was a good deal that didn't make me feel stuffed and overindulged- just the perfect amount. The ice cream was delicious, smaller portion sizes then we are used to but the flavored it worth it! The location is a bit strange being at the front of the car wash but we went at night so the wash was closed. The staff were kind and helpful on our questions. I recommend based off taste and service!

I went here after Sup Noodle for dessert and it was a good way to spend a little nice time outside in their small, but cozy seating. I tried the vanilla soft serve with the honey and honey comb. The dessert was solid and satisfied me for the afternoon. While being located next to a gas station is a bit of a strange choice, you could theoretically go back to the somewhat nicer seats next to the restaurants on the other side.

Honeymee's Sweetie Ice Cream is a gem with its 100% natural liquid honey swirl. It's easily become my favorite ice cream spot for several reasons. The creamy texture of their ice cream combined with the natural honey flavors is so good. The sweetness is just right--never overpowering--and there's no artificial taste whatsoever. I highly recommend giving it a try for a refreshing and naturally flavorful treat.

When I want soft serve I want something that is creamy not icy. I don't understand why they don't do quality control. I used to go to honeymee before COVID but what stopped me from going to all locations together was that each location was never consistent with the ice cream. Irvine always had the best creamiest ice cream but I moved so that isn't a convenient location for me to visit anymore... After a few years I was close by so tried it and regretted, remembering why I stopped going to honeymee
