I want to be supportive of local business ... but can you please be more careful with your delivery packing? By the time the food arrived from our Postmates delivery-person, it had leaked all over the inside and the outside of the bag. There really is no need to line styrofoam with foil. It guarantees the containers are going to leak. As far as the food goes .. it's ok. Unfortunately the broccoli/mushroom/snap peas dish was completely void of flavor, other than garlic and corn starch. For the price of this meal, I'm pretty disappointed.

I personally love their jjajangmyun. The noodles are al dente and buttery. My family has been going to House of Joy for over 20 years (Glendale location when I was younger and now La Cresenta since it's closer). Their jjajangmyun is the standard I use when I eat jjajangmyun elsewhere and I don't recall any place tasting better. Their pork tangsuyuk is also delicious when its fried perfectly. I also love their mak kimchi that they provide as a side dish. There was an order we placed about a month ago when their jjajangmyun was too salty but I'm sure it was human error because when we ordered recently, their jjajangmyn was delicious.

We tried this place once again since there were limited Chinese/Koren places to get take out in our town in Pandamic. We oredered:3- Black bean Noodle (Gan cha chan mein)3- Eggplant with hot garlic sauce4- Eggroll3- Peking Chiken -The reason for missing stars.... Black bean noodle wasn't flaverful enough. The sauce was so light, we had to add some other sauce to canpasate. -Eggplant was ok, I wasn't expect to see them in thick gravy sauce though.- Peckin chicken had a great flavor, but they were all dry, not tender not jucy.... :/ We could have made better ones by buying frozen chiken wing and air fried. Will I go back? :/

Good food but pricey for what it is. Korean Chinese food shouldn't be that expensive.

The paper wrapped chicken had cinnamon in it. I've never had cinnamon in paper wrapped chicken previously, not great. The Mongolian hamburger had an odd smell. I wish I had my 40 bucks back however I surmise that is the world we live in

Like others have commented, this has become one of my staples during lockdown. Regularly order takeout, and still love their jjajangmyun. Reminds me a lot of the Chinese restaurants in Koreatown, but better pricing. I have been a loyal customer for years.

not one to leave a review but this is absolutely disgusting. my girl friend found this in the chicken and almost ate it. mistakes are understandable, even a piece of plastic is reasonable to make an accident. but a piece of metal f****** wire? you have got to be kidding me. we don't pay for a meal to ruin our dinner let alone have it contain a choking hazard. smfh, get y'all shii together

The cashier was nice as always. However, the sweet and sour pork was overcooked. We will not come back for a while.

This place used to be good but MAN WHAT HAPPENED I got the gan jjajang, jjampong, and tangsuyuk. The gan jjajang was a sea of oil and they were very stingy about the sauce and soup for both noodle dishes. The noodles were also extremely overcooked and bland. The tangsuyuk was really good, though, and they are generous with the portion. Idk what happened but they should figure out something with the noodles because the sauce and soup itself were pretty decent. The two main dishes at a Korean-style Chinese restaurant should be at least somewhat good :/

Total disappointment. I ordered from this place a few times through delivery apps and both times have been pretty disappointing. But this time was a lot worse. Especially their green pepper jjam pong was really bad. I couldn't even finish half of it. It was so bad. I can't believe I paid for this food. Tang su yuk was not crispy, gan jja jang was lacking of sauce, and jjam pong was not made with fresh seafood ingredients - I don't even want to eat these seafood. If I dined-in, I would have asked for my money back.

Super delicious food! It tastes like how it looks, not over powering with the flavors, not greasy, Just right! Very nice staff, quick and efficient. Had mine as take out. Best to order to go or delivery.

This place has the best Chinese food I've ever had! My wife and I go there often! The staff is friendly and very helpful. The menu is full of great Chinese Cuisine & they also have Macaroons for dessert. I enjoy the Mongolian beef and sweet and sour pork. My spouse enjoys the cashew chicken. They have dine-in or to-go service. Lunch and dinner portions available. Tell em The Kevorkian's sent you...

I go to this special restaurant every couple of days because I love the good mood that is outline this restaurant. The crew is extremely friendly and professional. The service is very fast. Also, the food they cook is perfect. I frequent more than once and I was always happy. The pay is modest. I recommend this restaurant to my friends and family.

Used to be a faithful customer of HoJ whenever we had a craving for jjajang and jjambong, but this was too big of a problem to ignore. For the second time, we found a sliver of aluminum in the jjajang. The first time was perhaps a fluke, so I let it go, but this was the second time. The food tastes great, but there's definitely something going wrong with food prep and care. Don't know if I'll come back.
