India House Restaurant

We always look forward to Baar Baar but they truly had the A-team working tonight. We tried a couple dishes for the first time (SWEET POTATO CHAT and CHICKEN CHETTINAD) in addition to our normal go-tos (CAULIFLOWER 65, SELECTION OF INDIAN CURRIES, rice, and garlic naan). We were lucky enough to have the bar manager / beverage director running the bar that night and the cocktails were even better (didn't know that was possible tbh) than usual. I continue to think Baar Baar is one of the best restaurants in the city and is consistently underrated (however well rated it is).

the team was awesome and the cuisine was spectacular. we were there with a group of 7 for a family celebration and it could not have been more perfect.

The lamb shank w nihari sauce was fantastic and a good portion too. Highly recommended ! The foods expensive - but really good :)

We loved the food and the service was great. My wife is vegetarian and there were many options on the menu.

Sat at the bar, and Rafael was an amazing host. Took the time to explain what Baar Baar was all about, the intricacies of each cocktail, and all the food items. He was a tremendous host, and I can't wait to visit again

Everything about this restaurant is top notch. Food was amazing, cocktails were exceptional and the service was excellent too .

My girlfriend and I had such a wonderful experience for DineLA. Absolutely loved the lamb kebab things and the black lentil soup and the butter chicken and the rice and the duck birria tacos! FREAKING YUMMMMM!!! 😋😋😋 The lamb kebab and duck birria tacos are enough to keep me coming back! Plus, the team was AMAZING!

I met two girlfriends for dinner. We tried the price fixe menu and loved everything we ordered. We went relatively early and at first could hear each other just fine, but as the crowd came in for dinner it became harder to hear. Overall, though, I would highly recommend Baar Baar.

Good was good, not great. Everything was lukewarm when it came out. Not very attentive staff, had to run down a waiter to order.

What a disappointment! The food was so beautifully prepared, I was expecting phenomenal flavors but oh, it was not to be. I have never had such bland Indian food, nay, any food that was as bland as our dinner last night. We tried five different dishes and they were all devoid of any flavor or spice. It's not a good sign when the only thing we remarked on and truly enjoyed was the wine and cocktails. I appreciated having lots of menu options for our group's various dining proclivities and the service was very friendly and attentive but the lack of taste in any of the dishes was truly surprising. To then receive a giant bill in the end having not enjoyed any of the dishes was even more disappointing. I felt duped. Still do.

Our first time having dinner at Baar Baar and it was truly an amazing experience. Our server Layla, and team were excellent and the food was just fantastic!

The food compared to the price point is an incredible value. The restaurant is beautiful and the staff is very attentive. We will definitely be back.

Great bartender, food came quickly and tasty. Portions on the small side, wish the music wasn't so loud for an nearly restaurant.

I came in last minute to pick up my order and I ask if they had tea cause my throat hurts the gentleman with a beard , poured a full cup of tea with no charge

The food was mediocre at best. I was very disappointed because the restaurant decor and ambiance is actually quite nice. The food not only tasted average but it came out cold and I could tell the food was not fresh. I would not go back.
