Great spot for Korean comfort food, especially on a cold day. The short rib soup was rich, clean, and very soothing. The garlic suyuk sous vide pork belly was the standout, super tender and melts in your mouth. You can really taste the care in the preparation.

Banchan were solid, portions were generous, and the food felt authentic and comforting rather than trendy. Service was also top notch, friendly and attentive.

Definitely a place I’d come back to. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Their food presentation was great but as korean food its very average or below average. Lot of msg taste and its not as authentic of korean food. Theres much better options than here. 90% of customers were non Koreans and this is the reason for the top reviews.

Wow, we absolutely loved this place. The brisket tteokbokki was incredible, amodern twist on a classic dish. The flavors were bold and comforting, and having the brisket seared and finished right at the table made it both delicious and fun to experience.

The marinated dumplings were new to us as well, and they added an amazing depth of flavor to an already tasty favorite.

The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the service was excellent. Min was especially wonderful, friendly, attentive, and efficient.

We’ll definitely be back.

Food great. Service great. Ambiance pretty cool. Overall awesomeness.

Came here Saturday afternoon around 2pm, which was pretty crowded but wait was reasonable, about 30-40min. We ordered braised beef short rib and spicy tofu soup. Yea, both were worth the wait, especially the tasty delicious rich savory braised beef short rib. Ohh boy mouth is savoring just thinking about it. Will be coming back to try more items.

We’ve had Jincook on our radar for a while now and finally had dinner here. It was a Tuesday night and about a 5 minute wait for a party of 5. The inside is cozy and casual. Everything on the menu looked so good, so we got basically everything.

The first dish to come out was their signature garlic suyuk, boiled slices of pork served on a hot stone plate, still bubbling in its savory juices, accompanied by ssamjang paste, minced garlic, and chives. Oh my god it was so good. The slices of pork were so tender and absolutely soaked in the garlicky liquid. Try it on its own first. Amazing. And just when you think it couldn’t get any better, add the minced garlic, ssamjang, and chives. Mmph! So good. And then. And then have a bite with some kimchi. Have one with a cube of pickled radish. So yummy oh my goddddd what are they doing in the back of that kitchen?? You have to get this dish. You didn’t go to Jincook if you didn’t.

The next few dishes had a tough act to follow. The seafood pancake was decent, but I wouldn’t get it again. The table reached a consensus that the soy garlic chicken was good, but was divided on exactly how good. And the kimbap jeon came with a yummy sauce, but its lack of crispiness left me a little disappointed.

The soondubu did not. It hit in a way that I did not expect it to hit. I expected nothing and it gave me everything. It was especially effective as it was a cold night in December.

The brisket tteokbokki was not far behind. We got the works with ramen and melted cheese. A halmeoni wheeled it to our table and blowtorched it with a piece of charcoal before serving it to us. The sauce was rich and the spiciness went well with the melted cheese. The tteok were cooked perfectly and had a nice chewiness.

But for me, no dish came as close to the peak of the garlic suyuk as the jalapeno cheese curry katsu. Much like the liquid enveloping the garlic suyuk, the curry of the jalapeno cheese katsu was still bubbling in its hot stone plate as it was brought out to our table. A dam of white rice separated the curry from four crispy pork pockets of melted cheese and jalapenos. Biting into that katsu gorged with cheese and peppers felt amazing. Your mind will barely have time to process the crunch of the crispy panko shell before you sink into the soft pork. The pork is perfectly cooked, with a slight firmness that resists your teeth just enough before it gives way into its tender flesh. But even that is quickly followed by a burst of hot, melted mozzarella cheese, mellow and creamy and dressed with the spice of chopped jalapenos. Together, the different textures and flavors are delicious, but there is still another layer to enjoy! Break open the dam of white rice and allow the curry to seep its way to the curry. Now, enjoy once again that bite of cheese katsu with a new rich, velvety coat - a sensory experience that will have you wanting more.

My first visit to Jincook was both indulgent and productive. I’ve developed an affinity with my favorite dishes and know exactly what to order next time. I can’t wait. I hope that this list helps readers map out what dishes to order on their Jincook journey as well.

Jin Cook is an absolute gem. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. The food is fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care—every dish we tried was amazing and came out hot and well-presented.

You can really taste the quality in every bite, and the portions are generous for the price. Service was fast without feeling rushed, and the team made sure we were taken care of the entire time.

If you’re looking for a place that delivers great food, great service, and a great overall experience, Jin Cook is definitely worth coming back to. Highly recommend!
