Honestly such a great spot. Food is delicious per usual, service was efficient and everyone is generally so kind (shout out to Benjamin!! He's one of the greatest and most welcoming!!) and yes ambiance feels homey, a great place to take friends and family. and the bathrooms are always clean. I've been here three times within the past two weeks--a comfort spot for sure.

One of my favorite korean restaurants to visit! The leek pancake, pork soup, and beef soup with shredded beef are our go to's. Broth has so much flavor and always hits the spot. Ambiance as well as the staff is so nice and friendly! Our waiter Benjamin was so attentive and made sure we always had what we needed. Definitely worth the drive!

One of the best for korean soup! Growing up eating around garden grove ktown, I've had my fair share of korean soups but this place definitely takes the top spot. Got the pork soup with stomach, tongue, and ear and the broth was super clean but flavorful. I didn't have to add that much salt and shrimp because there was already so much flavor! It comes with rice and noodles so it will definitely fill you up. One of the most comforting dishes i've ever had. Service was quite fast despite it being busy, but I recommend staying inside if you are waiting for a table because they will seat you first. Will be coming back many more times!

Great place to go and eat, their pork soup is amazing and the meat is super tender! Good vibes all around and the waiters/waitresses were awesome to be around! Strong recommends are the leek pancake, pork soup, brisket soup, and the pork belly! Thank you Benjamin!

Was always a fan of Jinsol since they first opened in Koreatown. This branch is superb and is in my opinion, the very best Korean Pork Bone Broth soup in the western United States.I went back to the LA location one time and will not go back again. The owner sold that branch and the taste is completely different.

After ownership change this place is going downhill. They stopped some of the side dishes and takes for ever. Forget about eating the pork bbq it dates 40 mins to come out. It was so good before but now service and food is so different. No more for ne

If you need comfort food that is nourishing and clean, come here. If you are recovering, have a hangover, need to detox from heavy greasy foods, come here. I love their pork soup with rice. The broth comes unsalted so you can add the seasonings to your taste. I like adding the salted shrimp to the soup. It gives it an extra kick of umami. Also, if you love chives, dump them all in the soup. Use the spoon, scoop some rice, ladle some soup with it and pop it in your mouth. It's tastes like home cooking and feels rejuvenating to the soul. The leek pancake is small but done well. It looks soft at first glance but don't be deceived. Take a bite and you will feel the crispiness of the batter and sweet caramelized leeks. They are perfect to accompany the gukbap. The restaurant can get quite crowded and loud. Tip to get seated on time is to get in before the church crowd showed up.

Pretty good. They were packed, service was Ok b/c it was so packed, its understandable. Soup was authentic. Grilled BBQ Pork ribs was a touch underdone even though I asked for it well done. Chives pancake is super small (like a small appetizer for 1 person), overpriced for what they give you. The banchans were meh. - The cabbage white kimchi had a lot of black moldly edge pcs (which I of course threw out) - Their radish kimchi was meh - Their kimchi was a little too oystery for my tastes Their rice was so delish though. Get there early, it gets crowded in the parking lot.

Hardly ever give 5 stars, but this restaurant has it all. The menu was very simple. Either chicken or spicy pork ribs. Both meals come with rice and soup. Their bon chon doesn't have a great selection, but it has Kimchi and that's good enough for me. Service is amazing. They came a few times to check on us and see if we needed anymore refills on the sides. So they are also very nice to my daughter. They asked if she needed more soup or just plain soup because ours was spicy. Bought the short ribs plate for about $37 and the plate came out with about 15 pieces of meat. Unlike BCD 6 pieces for dinner is $30, the meat quality is tender cook to perfection. Not burnt black. The beef soup we got was really good for a cold rainy day. There was so much ingredients I can't describe what they are. Also for the leek pancakes. More leek and pancakes itself. But it was a good start. We were greeted from the door to our seats and our seats to the door. It felt very authentic being there. I'd recommend it if you have kids cause they are really nice to them. And definitely come back cause the food and service were both good.

The food is delicious, but I don't think there are enough people working... There are too many customers, but the service is very slow... Even if I want to go again, I hesitate to visit again because of the slow service.

This is a hidden gem for Korean food lovers! If you're craving some seriously good Kimchi soup and juicy pork belly, this is the spot to hit up. Let's start with the Kimchi soup--it's a flavor explosion! Spicy, tangy, and just the right amount of kick to warm you up. Perfect for those chilly days or when you just need a comforting bowl of goodness. And don't even get me started on the pork belly! Juicy, tender, and so flavorful. It practically melts in your mouth with each bite. You'll definitely be coming back for more. The vibe here is just right for a family dinner. Cozy, welcoming, and with dishes that are perfect for sharing. It's the kind of place where you can kick back, relax, and enjoy some quality time with loved ones.
