I can't eat much so I prefer non ayce kbbq places. This place is definitely good. A bit pricey but worth it. Service is always great as well.

Hands down the best Korean BBQ I’ve had in LA so far. I dined here on a Saturday for lunch at the front by the glass doors along with a few other groups, but the restaurant is large enough to accommodate a dinner rush. The space is very modern with minimal decorations and features a patio with a fire pit. Everything we ate was delicious, from the meat grilled by your server, to the various side dishes and barley tea. The sheer number of dishes on the table was impressive and created a creative environment to enjoy something different with every bite. My favorite was pairing the tofu wrappers with kimchi, green onions, and the boneless short rib.

Well trained servers rotated through all the tables, flipping and cutting our meat with scissors as necessary. I appreciated that the restaurant opted for a no tipping policy and instead charged a flat 10% fee, especially given the higher price of the meal, which brought me to $49 for a lavish and extremely filling meal that I thought was worth every penny. Note that this is located on the top floor of an open air mall with free parking available in an attached multi-tier deck.

They give more meats for the price paid compared to other Korean bbq place. They are also a no tipping restaurant

Service was horrible. Couldn't get a table even tho we were in the wait-list and checked in when table was said to be ready. The hostess couldnt figure out which tables were available or not on their system.

Went to the BBQ side. The beef combo was good value with all the extra side dishes. I saw a bunch of reviews that were not happy about the service, but I didn’t have any issues with the service and really liked that it’s a no-tipping establishment.

Only thing I didn’t like is that the smoke is quite strong to the point of stinging, but it may have been due to where we sat.

I have to say the food here is amazing. It’s very good.
This restaurant is no tipping restaurant and the service totally reflects it .
I’ve never had to get up so much from
My seat to get the food that they placed on the other side of the table opposite of where we sat sitting .
When I asked if they could place it closer to me, they gave me the side eye .
Come here for the food, but don’t expect much from the service. Maybe they’ll change to a tipping restaurant so it gives the servers incentive to serve us better.

Server Luke was incredibly nice, attentive, and truly professional. From the moment we sat down, he made us feel welcome and taken care of. He anticipated our needs before we even had to ask and delivered everything with a smile and great energy. His service was not only fast but also warm and thoughtful, making our dining experience even more enjoyable. The food was amazing—definitely a 10 out of 10 restaurant. If I ever come back to California, this will be my first stop. Thank you so much, Luke!

Went to this restaurant on 7/27 at 1045pm. The hours say they’re open until midnight and they had people inside. We walked in and were told no more food. That’s not a reasonable time to stop serving when your hours are posted what they are. Won’t ever chance a return

right next to the bbq but they are a separate area from the kbbq
so there was a bit of confusion bc we didnt want kbbq but misoolkwan is for a la carte food.
the food is great and serving sizes were HUGE!! we ordered bulgogi (stew style like on bibimbap), seafood pancakes (SO GOOD and PACKED), and rose carbonara ramen/tteokbokki and that was also very good - sausage was great!

loved the decor too very traditional korean streets vibe and super nice! staff were a bit hard to get ahold of when we went.

M Korean BBQ in Buena Park delivers a stellar dining experience serves up Korean BBQ, including short ribs, spicy pork, and a variety of banchan (side dishes) like kimchi.
This spot for both Korean BBQ enthusiasts and newcomers alike.

Food: The side dishes here are so delicious, I love their kimchi taste delicious and perfect, took a bit long to refill but you can just mass order them because the portion is fixed and premade so they only come out as a tiny portion.

Service: friendly and attentive service.
The staff will cook for you so that's a pros but also cons. The pro is you don't have to do anything and just be there to eat. The con is sometimes they are busy with other tables and might not be fully serving you.
I came here 3 times, 2 times the staff was very attentive and 1 time they’re busy and I have to wait a little bit to be severely , but still love it .

Atmosphere: modern decor looks cozy , nice , but the music a little loud

Pricing: the price is a bit high but totally worth it. It should also be noted that there is a forced 10% fee on top of the food, but no tip - so even though it seems pricey it's a flat fee. still better than %15-%20 tip .

Parking: The restaurant is located on the 3rd floor of The Source near the movie theater. Plenty of parking spots.

Maybe it’s because of their no-tip policy, but the service here was practically nonexistent. No one came to take our order for a good 10 minutes, and when we finally flagged someone down, he seemed completely uninterested in helping us. We tried ordering chadol, one of their signature dishes, and he claimed he didn’t speak Korean—then acted like he had no idea what chadol even was. It was laughable. The other servers weren’t as dismissive, but still, no one ever came back to check on us or see if we needed anything. The food was just okay—nothing spectacular. That said, the space did have a fun, old-school Korean vibe, which gave it some charm.
