We left the restaurant very disappointed with the quality and taste of their pork sisig and lechon kawali kare-kare. The sisig was DROWNING in oil in a sizzling plate that did not sizzle at all. When we told the owner about it, she mumbled about the mayonnaise this or mayonnaise that. We were puzzled as it didn’t look like nor taste like there was mayonnaise in the sisig? Like what?? We asked to return it to the kitchen.
The lechon kawali was ok by itself. Too bad the taste of the kare kare was blah - nothing to rave about. We prefer Gerry’s Grill and Barrio Fiesta’s kare kare than in here.
The only thing we enjoyed was the $6 taho.
I do not think we will return.

Searched for “best siopao” in Orange County and this restaurant came up. Finally had the chance to go yesterday just to check what the hype was all about. I think I should’ve given them 2 stars instead of 3. We ordered the savory fried chicken, whic was so so. We also ordered bola-bola and asado siopaos and both were an absolute fail. Asado pao was not really that good and the bola-bola one was too dry and mostly dough. Mami king’s are a whole lot bettet. To go with the paos, we ordered chicken wonton mami and that was a big fail. Soup was kinda on the sweet sweet side which I didn't get and am not used to. No plan of returning there ever.

I was searching for lugaw, and no other Filipino restaurants seem to offer it on their menu. I traveled from DTLA because I was craving lugaw and I was not disapointed at all! I even took some food to go to bring back for my mom and sister. Great authentic Filipino food and friendly staff!

We ordered Crispy Pata (deep fried pig leg/hock) few months ago and I remember it was really good.
But the rating is for the recent experience. Wish we could rate per dish.
Came back recently and ordered rice porridge with beef tripe. The porridge was very thick. Also, it smelled weird. I've had beef tripe before (different place/dish) and they didn't have this strong smell. It's like the tripe didn't get properly washed/cleaned before cooking.

This is not your usual Pinoy restaurant in the US wherein they have the pre-cooked food standing out under a warmer and you pick 2 dishes with rice and pancit for take out. This is a sit down restaurant where they cook the food fresh. If you want to impress any Filipino or the parents of your Filipino friends, bring them here.
The food is legit and servings are big. Staff are attentive, respectful, and friendly. One is even Kapampangan from the culinary capital of the Philippines, so she knows food. Air-conditioning is cold, place is clean, and they got school memorabilia on the walls that will bring you back lots of memories!
They have special items you can't find anywhere by special request for catering parties/potlucks that are not on the menu like Beef pot roast, Special Baked Fish, Pork Asado, Beef Steak, etc. Ask your server about it but please give them at least 1 week or more advanced notice.
Dietary restrictions: If you don't eat pork, you can have them put chicken on the pancit or other dishes.
