I ate here many times when I was a kid (I was born in 1973). My family would drive from all over to meet here for the famous chicken dinner. It breaks my heart to see how they've reduced the quality of the food across the board (but not the cost) in order to maximize profits. It was the day before Veterans Day and the park was packed but the chicken dinner restaurant was almost empty. I guarantee if they served good quality food like they used to this place would have long lines of people waiting to get in once again. My wife said the fried chicken tasted burnt like it was cooked in old oil. The famous house french salad dressing is now the gross orange salad dressing you see in the cheapest bottle at the grocery store. The salad is served with tiny rock hard croutons. The saddest part for me was the disgusting, watery, boysenberry concoction they brought out with the bland biscuits. I used to love trying all the different flavors of Knott's preserves they used to have in stacks on every table. My kids wouldn't eat the over breaded chicken tenders. Even the pie was blah. I'll never go back. :(

Because we had a reservation, we only had to wait 10 minutes for a table. The server was friendly and we had a great time. Food was delicious!

Old Knott's Berry Farm is gone. Restaurant looks like any other restaurant. All the charm and character is gone. Prices are exorbitant! Three people for lunch, no dessert, was over $80. Parking was $35.00 for two hours and that was disabled. Regular parking would have been $55.00. Too expensive to return.

The fried chicken dinner was super bland. The best part of the meal was the chicken noodle soup

Mrs Knotts is a yearly tradition at Halloween! We bring the kids to Camp Spooky and always eat here first. Always delicious and the rolls are to die for!

Great traditional chicken dishes - the biscuits and jam were amazing - we would definitely come again if we were in the area

We got in quick and service was perfect. The chicken dinner was crispy and good. All was reasonably priced.

Had a wonderful birthday celebration here to remind me of my childhood and their famed fried chicken and boysenberry pie. And those BISCUITS!! Yum. Non-alcoholic friendly bar selections, too like virgin boysenberry mojito. So good!! Thank you so much!

Food was good although the fried chicken, especially the breast piece, was dry. Other than that I will definitely eat there again next time I'm at Knotts Berry Farm.

Our family has been going to Mrs. Knott's chicken dinner for six decades. Unfortunately, the last three times we have been there (2025), our chicken has been dry! The staff give us replacement chicken, but it was dry also. We didn't wanna try for around three, we wanted to spend our time in the park, it was my grandson‘s birthday. We used to choose Knott's for special occasions because they served the best, moist, fried chicken you could get. It just seems like we can't get that chicken anymore.

Food was horrible. Asked for plain pasta for the kids and server said everything is pre maid. Asked server for all flats on wing order and same thing all pre made. Ordered chicken and waffle sliders, the chicken was a breaded chicken patty that looked like a frozen Tyson patty. It was just all gross. Never again. Bill for 2 Asians 2 kids under 6 was $100!

I've been coming here for years, I love their chicken and sides. Couldn't have asked for a more perfect chicken spot.

Our server was exceptional and on top of our needs. We appreciated him. The fried chicken was dry and hard to swallow. I had to keep dipping into the mashed potatoes and gravy to make it more palatable. It was early dinner rush, so maybe they served us left-over chicken from their lunch rush. I am not sure what happened, but they missed the mark on this one.

Only complaints ...We did not get seated in the area reserved. The restaurant was not crowded and still understaffed or slow. The food was excellent and brought back memories of my childhood. Visiting from Ohio, I have frequented the restaurant a number of times on vacation since childhood. Mrs. Knotts' chicken dinner did not disappoint and was very filling. My wife had the pot pie and loved it. A highlight everyone in the party had excellent boysenberry flavored cocktails. In an era of small plates and picture perfect mini meals, Mrs. Knotts' delivered a traditional and tasty homestyle meal. My memories with family over the years came crashing back at first bite.
