The slowest food stall in all of Knotts and they’re always running out of things.
I’m glad I have a meal plan because this wouldn’t have been worth almost $20. Chili Potato was actually decent, but the bread bowl!? IT WAS ATROCIOUS. The bread was so hard we couldn’t eat any of it. My plastic spoon and fork broke trying to dig out a bite. The portion of pasta in the bowl was hilariously small. Don’t hurt yourself and go anywhere else in the park.

Biscuits and fried chicken were absolutely amazing. The lunch is way over priced. The gravy had too much flour. I would like to see a different vegetable besides corn. The service and restaurant was awesome
We have not been back here still around 30 plus years with our daughters girl scout troops back then. Now we're able to have this new experience with our almost 5 year old grandson seeing it through his eyes and this new experience all.
You can't beat the Seniors buffet on select Tuesdays. Chicken was the original crispy coating that used to be common everywhere but not so much anymore. As much as you can eat chicken, mashed potatoes, corn, rhubarb, leafy cabbage, biscuit with country gravy, boysenberry pie, and boysenberry beverage refillable. Unforgettable and all for $22 each. Ya gotta love it!
I am newly retired and have been going to places for dinner I have not been to in years. This was the best buffet at a decent time and enjoyed shopping afterwards with no fuss. I will definitely go back to Mrs. Knott's Chicken Dinner with my Mom.
We had an amazing server Eileen . She helped with dietary restrictions I had . I was on the phone for a family Emergency and she took care of my husbands order and wanted to throw in a pie for me for my diet restriction order . Kindness goes a long way / thank you !
There are several options on the menu, but: Get the original Mrs Knotts famous chicken dinner. That's why this place is still so famous 90 years later! $26.50 but it's worth every dime ($5 more for all white meat). You will definitely be taking home leftovers. And get a glass of boysenberry punch. A memorable experience indeed. Oh and remember to get your parking validated by your server!
This is the "Good ol' days" restaurant! Comfort Food & Comfortable Service at it's Best! And the ambiance felt so familiar I felt like standing up and giving the Pledge of Allegiance. Plus, the bill won't send you into a Cold War!
Wow, been here multiple times in the past but it's been at least 2 years and this place has really gone down hill. Starting with the service. The waitress was rude, short, a bit authoritative like she was telling us we could/could not have. She was slow to return to check in. She refilled drinks one at a time for a family of 4, meaning she took one cup at a time to the back, returned, grabbed the next, then returned and so on. She seemed to get irritated with the 4th, ignored it until we asked her again to fill the last persons cup. She was rude and ruined what is typically a good experience at Mrs Knotts. The food. Wow, this was the absolute DRIEST chicken breast I'd ever had. It had to have sat under the heat lamp for hours. I had to rip it fiber by fiber off the chalk dry bone. Zero moisture. I've had better chicken at KFC, this was so bad. No flavor either. It was like eating flavorless over dried chicken jerky. Just gross. The corn was very fresh, but it had absolutely zero seasoning. No butter, no salt, no pepper. The potatoes were good, but were room temp. Not warm at all. The jam is heavenly. So good, as it always is, but the bread over burned on top. Surprised they brought it out. Keep in mind this wasn't at peak service/traffic/dinner time. It was 5:30pm, and the restaurant was maybe 60% full. Tons of open seats. It's a real shame that the above was the experience, especially at almost $200 for the meal. I've always spoken about this place with such high praise and could t wait to return, but now, I don't think I'd ever return or recommend it. Not unless there were maybe changes. I hope the business sees this and reaches out, because it was an awful experience and they definitely need to do better all the way around.
The meal was disappointingly bland. The chicken lacked any seasoning, and the boiled cabbage was flavorless. While the ham was intended to provide some taste, it failed. The biscuits were the only redeeming part of the meal. I asked for the 2 piece meal with breast and wing but was given 2 breasts and charged for all white meat, which was not requested. Overall, I was very dissatisfied with the entire dining experience and cost, and I have no plans to return. The server initially brought the food to the wrong table, presenting the incorrect party with our cabbage. When I politely requested fresh cabbage, she reacted with annoyance, as if we should have accepted the food meant for strangers. This is unsanitary and violates food safety regulations.

I was very pleased with the dinner we were served at the proportions were were a lot it was more than we could eat we were excited to taste the foods and tried the desserts and bring your appetites the food is good
Excellent and flawless service. Best fried chicken dinner in a very long time. Servings are plentiful. Went in with expectations due to reputation; exceeded my expectations. A certain return visit.
What a disappointment! You want to see an example of how a corporation can ruin a good thing? Try eating at Mrs. Knott's Chicken Dinner restaurant. I have been visiting Mrs. Knott's restaurant for decades and was shocked to see the hostess seat us in a large noisy, poorly designed cafeteria to eat a buffet dinner. They had extremely loud, chaotic music blasting from the speakers, and were seated at some cheap table with uncomfortable chairs and no silverware. Like at a cafeteria, our server brought us large plastic glasses of sugar water trying to pass as a boysenberry punch that tasted awful. Worse to come was what they called a buffet. There were at least 3 employees hanging around the buffet tables not doing anything. Some of the warmers had signs of what was supposedly inside and some did not. It wasn't clear where one was to begin the buffet, nor where the plates were. Needless to say the food in the warmers was not only cold, it tasted absolutely terrible. I have tasted better food at a hospital cafeteria. Meanwhile the employees standing around the buffet tables showed no interest in helping anyone, filling empty chaffing dishes, or ensuring that the food being served was at least warm. It was comical what a disaster this restaurant has become. Do yourself a favor and skip Mrs. Knott's and drive down the street to KFC. The food will be much, much cheaper, and taste much, much better.
You're dumb app said that they're only two available times. The restaurant was completely empty and there was plenty of seats available. You did not even need to make a recommendation. This app is stupid.
We had heard all of the hype about how good their chicken is. So we ordered the chicken lunch, white meat only. The first pieces that we got were so dried out. It was impossible to eat. The pieces were then replaced. It did not meet expectations at all. I will not ever be back there again
