Interesting Korean hot dog place--or rather more like a corn dog place, but with a Korean-style coating. It's definitely worth a try. Not really our vibe, as it's a little on the greasy side, but if you're younger or have an iron stomach, then enjoy!

I visited Myungrang Hot Dog on Saturday, 1/27/24, around 2 PM. I decided to get one Mozzarella & Sausage Hot Dog with a side of Cheese Mustard sauce. It was cooked to perfection. I loved the crispiness of the coating, the gooey effect of the cheese, and the flavor of the Cheese Mustard sauce. It did not disappoint at all. I recommend coming here for fantastic Korean Hot Dogs.

Potato with sugar, half mozzarella and sausage. Hot Cheeto with mozzarella inside. Really quick staff/wait and simple menu. The sugar gives it a sweet and savory flavor. The cheddar sauce is the BEST along with classic ketchup. Highly recommend if you like fried corn/hot dogs, the full mozzarella might not be everyone's cup of tea though! Will try the squid ink next timeee

this review is solely for the service. the food is okay. the customer service is very bad indeed. i asked for potato mozarella and the server stated that i ordered mozarella hot dog instead. I asked if i can exhanged uneaten and untouched hot dog and he stated no flat out with no explanation. I guess he the waiter never hear the term customer always right. The worst part is they have automatic tipping system. what the hell do i need to tip for? Everything is take out, we clean it up ourselves. If you use auto tap with your credit card, it's an automatic 21.53%. What a rip-off. Let me know why I have to tip a take out place...
Wanted to eat some cheese so decided to come to try this place! At first there wasn't so many people we came around 4pm, as soon as we got in we see a large photo menu (no prices) on the wall. Very small place, since the food is all to go, it's easy to just grab and go. Menu is in the corner on a screen above the counter where you order AND pick up. I ordered a regular mozz stick, my uncle ordered sweet potato mozz, sweet potato mozz and sausage, and a regular mozz stick. We asked for no sugar on ours. Everything was crunchy, hot, and the cheese stretch was amazing!! We dipped them cheddar cheese sauce. My dad (without knowing the name) thought it was sweet mayo sauce... Very delicious, roughly 5$ each dog. There was only three tables to sit at, good thing a table was free when we got our order in. If there's not a seat available you can stand near the side and wait for your order. Roughly a 5min wait.

I have tried different korean hot dog places and gotta say, this one is the winner!! The cheese-pull is amazing and the dough is just fluffier and crispier than other places in LA. And keep in mind I ate mine about 40 minutes after I ordered it! Their sauces are also good...much better than the boring ketchup and mustard packets from other places. Highly recommend!

Not many potato cubes and the whole hot dog didn't taste very fresh. It was odd since this place is rated so highly.To anyone coming from Canada to try the hot dog at Myunrang, I want to say that Chungchun Rice Dog is a lot better.
