Im not going to lie, the melon bingsu was a bit disappointing. Not was what I was expecting, even though they said that I could get green melon instead of honeydew. Not the issue. It just wasn’t my cup of tea nd was a bit overpriced. I have no doubt that the other bingsu wasn’t good, but it just wasn’t good.
DO NOT get the melon one.
I tried the Mango Cheesecake Bingsoo and it was pretty good 👍 the ice definitely had a light sweet flavor and the mangoes were ripe, and the cheesecake was tasty. I barely checked the reviews right now and am surprised at how many bad ones there are, if youre looking for a chill place to hang out and just eat then this is it 🥭 Not sure if I'd try again just because how many other options there are 👍 I will agree that its pricey depending on what you get
I love the boba here! America was very friendly and greeted me when I came in.
The server was very unfriendly when we walked in around 8pm. We ordered 2 red bean, 2 custard, and 1 cheese, but were given 5 Nutella taiyaki instead. Total waste of money.
They have the worst employees, so rude, takes long time to get their order because they are busy talking, looking at their phone, one time they mixed up their order and started blaming and yelling at the customer, Then they made fun of the customer, I thought they were racist, this place should go out of business for treating customer that way. I want to give - negative star if there is an option.
Very unprofessional, also over priced. I will choose sul&bean or different Korean coffee shop.
The service is definitely something.. The manager needs to train their workers to greet their customers or at least smile. This young girl with piercing was rude and was rushing me when there was no one else behind me. Her tone of voice sounded like she was fed up with her job. I also work at a cafe and it’s expected to say “welcome in” or a “hi” when you are helping a customer. The bingsoo was good though so I gave 2 stars for that.
i went to okbingsul today, i walked in, no “hi” “hello/welcome”. worker REFUSED to even look up at me, i had to speak to her first and she didn’t even say hi back. i would ask her something and she would just nod her head and i would have to repeat myself. i’ve never been to okbingsul but always wanted to try it, i was so put off by her attitude i didn’t order anything and walked out. right after we had walked out/walking away she started chatting it up with her co-worker. this was definitely disappointing and they need to do better!!
So we got the matcha bingsoo and it is mainly just ice with some matcha powder on top. There's not much matcha under the surface. The mochi was ok but overall the matcha powder was poor quality, bitter, and not worth the price. Next the fish dessert--it was ok. But don't get the green tea fish because it's awful
The red been shave ice is super good. So smooth and tasty. Great dessert place to visit
My family decided to visit the OC Source! It became a fun food tour of sorts. We ended our trip at Okbingsul to satiate our hunger for bingsoo!
We ordered the matcha bingsoo - 8/10. We loved the icecream on the top which always enhances a Bingsoo experience! However, the tteok was not eaten with as much joy because it was hard and we can tell it came from cheaper packaging compared to other places like Sul & Beans.
The menu features a good variety of different bingsoos and drinks. I think more people do come here for the bingsoo and tayakis.
One Regular sized bingsoo is good enough to share with 3-4 people who have eaten a good meal beforehand.
The interior has an okay amount of seating for 7-8 different groups of people. The interior features an aesthetically pleasing quote that can serve as a backdrop for good pictures!
Thank you all for your service and provision of good food. God bless you.

Service was slow, and I saw another group argue with the manager after their order was delayed and skipped. I asked for an extra plate to cover my leftover taiyaki as to go, but the manager rudely questioned why I needed it, then refused and handed me a plastic bag instead which made a complete no sense. Completely dismissive and unhelpful. I won't be be coming back.
I’ve had much better shaved ice elsewhere. The red bean tastes much better than the cantaloupe out of the 2.
We came for the convenience since it’s at The Source. We came after lunch on a Sunday afternoon and it took over 2mins for a bingsoo and coffee. (Both very average at best)
Also the workers (prob pissed since they are understaffed, which I understand) were rude with their responses when asked what’s taking so long.
“We just have a lot of orders in” 😳
Not worth the long wait for some average bingsoo IMO.
I ordered an affogato, expecting a delicious treat, but what I received was more like a warm latte with a scoop of ice cream floating on top. When I pointed this out, the employee told me that this was how they made it at their shop. I showed her a picture of a typical affogato, but she dismissed it, saying it was just a Google image and that not all affogatos look the same. When I asked for a refund, she said they don’t offer refunds. Since I couldn’t reach the owner and was disappointed with the service, I decided to leave. What should have been a pleasant experience turned out to be frustrating due to the staff’s unprofessional attitude.
Places close at 10 pm per Google but the store was closed at 9 pm today. Meh
