Old Ferry Donut

These are the kind of donuts you dream about until you can have them again. I’m glad I don’t live anywhere nearby as this would assuredly become a problem for me. Highly recommend the Boston cream pie and butter pistachio. I’d say they’ll change your life, but only as much as you let them. YUM!

walked in on a Saturday a little after noon, wasn't greeted by either staff member even after looking at the donut case they just stared at me.
not sure what their problem was but it made me uncomfortable and made me feel unwelcomed so I left.

I eye this place on my walks around the source but I rarely get here earlier on in the day. I may try to come again but often times later in the day they are sold out. kinda bummed out after this experience.

Yeah, Vanilla Mace was right, this is the best donut I’ve ever had. The pistachio cream donut is soft and nutty with a sweet buttery flavor. I will be thinking of this donut like an ex lover I’ll never be able to get over.

Hands down, these are the best donuts I’ve ever had! The butter pistachio was my favorite, it is filled with a very creamy, smooth pistachio cream. It isn’t overly sweet and the pistachios give it a nice crunch. A close second was the maple pecan donut. I had hazelnut mocha, matcha cream, and several others. Each one was fantastic. If you like cream filled donuts, this is the place to go. They make sure each donut has a very healthy amount of filling.

One of my favorite donut spots! I tried the PB, PB&J, strawberry cream, and cookies & cream. Cookies & cream was definitely my favorite. The cream is super fresh and lightly sweetened, which I love. Everything tastes clean and made with care, without that overly sugary or artificial feel. This is easily my go-to donut place now.

I also tried their mint white chocolate drink. It tasted more like a light mint-flavored milk than chocolate. The subtle flavor worked really well with the donuts and balanced out the sweetness perfectly!

First of all I wish I didn't have to give a star to complete the review but anyway, let me start telling my experience here. The staff need the proper training or they need to know how to greet customer properly and greet everyone if that's what they call them self doing also customer service im sure if a customer ask were do I stand or where is the line that they answer right ohhhh not here they just take the next person coming through the door didn't bother to ask us if we were ready or needed more time before helping out a customer that just walked in and I said hello weren't we next, both customer and cashier ignored me they are both lucky I'm a lady and know how to act in public after the cashier had attitude every question we asked she didn't look up at us or even answer anything we were asking her about *isn't that what they supposed to do?* I work in customer service and I know exactly how to treat a customer or anyone at that. So to the cashier that was there on Sunday 6/29/25 around 2ish, you just made me make my mind up not to ever go back to that place again. Donuts are mid anyways to much hype they ain't even all that they say keep your money PEP'S don't waste it on this place. Disappointed customer 😑

i love the aesthetic in there !! the lighting and orange is nice. i also appreciate that they have seating both in & outside. lovely workers when we were in there, and they answered our questions about the donuts. speaking of which, the donuts i ended up having (hazelnut and pistachio) were pretty good !!!
