When I walked in, our group got seated immediately. There were no people in the waitlist!, which is very rare for a Friday, however, I think we just came at a good time. When the server seated us, the table felt moderately clean, the tables felt a little greasy, but it's a Korean barbecue restaurant, what was I expecting?
The food was pretty good compared to other Korean barbecue restaurants, the banchan dishes were freshly prepared and tasted great, the miso soup was hot and tasty, and the salad was pretty fresh. The meats tasted pretty good, especially the sliced beef brisket. I did feel like the marinade on the bulgogi was a little strong to me, but I enjoyed it. The ice cream I got at the dessert bar however, was a little bit eccentric.
It felt more like flavored finely shredded ice on a cup than creamy, silky ice cream. They also serve sliced oranges and red gelatin dessert at the dessert bar. I have to give it a 4 stars for food, or more specifically, 6.7/10 (Pun intended). I had to subtract one star for the ice cream.
Service was very good, the servers came by to check on us and change the grill frequently, and the dishes were brought to us fairly quickly. It comes in handy that they have a QR code you can scan on your smartphone to open a website that can call a server to your table, request different dishes and beverages, and look at the menu.
Atmosphere was pretty usual, except for the seasonal decorations. I don't think I've ever seen seasonal decorations at a Korean barbecue restaurant in the very beginning of spring. At the time I typed this, It was almost St. Patricks Day, so they had St. Patricks day decorations. It wasn't smoky like a particular Korean barbecue restaurant I went to, which is nice, which means when you leave the restaurant you won't be smelling like Korean Barbecue as much!, it probably was because the vents are a little closer to the table than usual.
Overall, no wait for getting in for my group, the food is good, I would recommend the thinly sliced beef brisket, the banchan dishes are fresh and tasty, however, the ice cream was a little bit questionable. Service was good, no complaints at all, frequent check ups and grill changes and the meats came fairly quickly, and the servers were attentive. The atmosphere is interesting, with holiday decorations in Spring and noticeably less smokier due to the vents being close to the table.
7.6/10 Would probably come back for the banchan dishes and meats. Would probably recommend to a friend

Meat came fast, and the buffet was amazing. No fighting over side dishes with people you are with. In matter of fact we have to go again because there are dishes I still want to try.

We were placed in an extremely uncomfortable and distressing situation during our visit to your restaurant last Saturday due to the conduct of your manager, David. His behavior was rude, dismissive, and deeply lacking in empathy.
Our party had very specific needs. Two members of our group are seniors with diabetes who are insulin-dependent and must eat on a strict schedule. We were also accompanied by my nephew, who has autism and a very limited diet. He only eats McDonald’s chicken nuggets and French toast.
Before being seated, we explained our situation to David and asked for consideration. We fully understood and accepted your policy that we would still need to pay for my nephew despite him not eating the restaurant’s food. Money was never the issue,we were more than willing to pay.
The problem arose when David insisted that my nephew’s food had to be left outside due to a strict “no outside food” policy, despite our explanation that this was related to a disability. When we tried to explain further, David responded rudely and told us that our only options were to leave the food outside or leave the restaurant entirely and find somewhere else that would “accommodate” us. He repeatedly lectured us about policy instead of listening.
This forced us into an impossible and unfair situation: choose between my elderly parents, who were at risk of hypoglycemia if they did not eat immediately, and my nephew, who has special needs and would not be able to eat at all. No family should ever be put in that position.
I find it deeply concerning that David claimed there was no discrimination involved, when his actions clearly demonstrate otherwise. I have been to many restaurants, including numerous Korean BBQ establishments with similar policies, and not once have we been treated this way. Every other restaurant showed understanding, respect, and basic human decency.
To the owner of this establishment: I strongly urge you to provide better training for your managers, particularly in handling situations involving disabilities and medical conditions. While your business is not part of the Better Business Bureau, I will be exploring other avenues to report this incident to ensure no other family experiences what we did.
This experience was disappointing, unnecessary, and entirely avoidable.

Everything was pretty good, fast service, shrimps a little soft and a bit salty, short rib and boneless sshort rib are our most favorite dishes, there are more to choose from: chicken, pork, ... we got the money worth eating here. You should try at least 1 time so you can tell, definitely we will go back

First time at this place, workers were very attentive waited less than 2min and was able to be quickly seated. they had a great introduction explanation on how ordering works. meats quality were pretty good for the price and had great array of side dishes and sweets on their buffet. the only thing unfortunate were ice cream machine was down at the moment. would def come here again very modern hip vibe 👍

The place is very busy and crowded on the weekend. It's all you can eat so it's quantity over quality, so I guess I can't expect too much. It's more like a 3.5 stars for me but my friends like it.

It was my first time coming here, and I really enjoyed the Premium AYCE menu. The restaurant was decently busy on a Monday night. My friends and I got seated right away at a small table in the front. We were helped immediately by server Jongha, who was super on it the entire night with the frequent grill changes and water refills. Jay came by and helped us too. I was so impressed by the wide variety of banchan ranging from tempura vegetables to noodles, soups, and salads, accompanied by a simple sauce bar and dessert stations as well. We ordered the meat on our phones using a QR code and it was delivered promptly to our table every time. I'm happy that the restaurant was clean, the food was good, and the service was excellent. We enjoyed the throwbacks music as well (it wasn't too loud, yay!). A kind worker even offered to take our photo by the door at the end of the night. I would definitely come back (try the ice cream!!!) :)

My boyfriend and I are new to the Buena Park area and just happened upon this place and I cannot stop thinking about how delicious it was. It was my first time at Korean BBQ (I’ve only had Japanese) - I’m a changed gal. This place is so affordable first and foremost and the buffet of sides was incredible. Our waiter Noah was super kind and attentive at explaining the different menus, how to order and coming and checking on us regularly. The Soju was great!! We will absolutely be back!
