This place is very lacking in welcoming customers. It takes a lot of training on how to behave with customers! Ordered a large sashimi but the fish portion was not enough and no small side dishes. It looks like something is missing. If you train your staff and add a more sashimi and side dishes (seaweed salad, edamame …) I think many will come back. But as it stands, I will never eat here again.

I loved the salmon bento, while my husband enjoyed his seafood udon. We shared the chefs sushi and also shared the blue fin maki. The complimentary edamame before the food came and watermelon afterwards was great additional service on top of the care all employees exemplifies.Wheelchair accessibility: My husband has a crow boot on one foot and a prosthetic shoe on the other. Accessibility was with wonderful ease.

Wide selection of sushi. Tons of fish fresh and cooked.Good options on rolls. Tons of parking. Wish service was a bit better and more attentive to our needs. Otherwise, quality fish.Very moody inside, I’d prefer to sit at the bar tbh.

Food quality is good, but the portions are not that much. Atmosphere is good to meet people and have conversation.Parking is easy and easy to find from Beach boulevard.

Great food and service. The owner is super nice he welcomes us and seating us personally. The server is very knowledgeable about their menu and food , highly recommended for the sashimi combination. It's a lot of food for 2 person and very good quality.

Ordered large sushi combo. A lot of fishes were dry and frozen. Espesically the shrimp. On a receipt uni was labeled AAA but it was not AAA. Not worth it compare the price. Overrated sushi for sure.

Way overpriced for their sushi. Quality was definitely not worth the money I spent. It's not a busy joint, but with 3 or 4 chefs I definitely expected my sushi to come out sooner. Overpriced wouldn't come again.

tl;dr - decent food, a little over priced, and portions could be bigger. Overall the service here is good and the presentation is solid. My gripe is that the food is a bit over priced in my option and you don't get that much. For what you're paying you can find other spots (that a very close by) for more value.

Birthday dinner: plenty of fresh food for a fair price with nice service. Impressed by this local place.

Poor service. We were a party of 7. They did not bring one person’s dish (one that is extremely easy to prepare- soba noodles) until everyone else had finished eating. We asked about the status of the dish 2-3 times while everyone else was eating and we were told dismissively by the wait staff that it was coming. Finally, after everyone had finished eating, we asked again. The server said they forgot about it. (At least they were honest about it?) And finally a few minutes later brought it out. Thankfully other people in the party shared some food with this person so they were not just watching everyone else eat until their food came. There was no apology or even recognition from the restaurant/wait staff that they had made a mistake or done anything wrong. When I made a comment about this to the server, she said she would apologize to the individual. I thought that meant she might remove the charge for the late noodles. But that was not the case. Instead, she gave a cursory “sorry” to the person who was left to wait nearly an hour after being seated. Forgetting one of the party’s food does not seem to be just a one-off incident of poor service. In general, other than to take our order and to bring out the food, the wait staff barely came by our table. We will not be returning to Sapporo.

Bento box with grilled salmon, but the ramen gave us diarrhea. (Bulgogi is no longer available on the menu.) I recommend the eel rice bowl for lunch. Our waiter didn't write our orders down, so I received a sushi bento instead of the sashimi I asked for. While they don't serve barley water or iced tea, each meal ends with a complementary drink, in my experience it's been iced lemon tea one summer and persimmon over the winter.

While expensive, it's all worth the cost 100%. Everything we had was delicious, and the service was excellent. Also the free lemomade after the courses with the candied lemons (not pictured) was absolutely superb.

We ordered several orders of the $99 chef's choice and one of my nephew and brother loved it. It was too much raw for me & if I knew ahead of time I would have ordered separate rolls. There was one dish that my sis said looked like "brains" and i think only my nephew tried it and did not really care for it.The amount of food we got for price was ok though and personally, I liked the cooked items more.
