A recent menu change has removed anything that my partner and I previously enjoyed. Tried the bulgogi stew... there is much I could say but won't. it just was not good. My partner was physically sick after eating. Service was fine but by all other metrics it was a fiasco. Won't be returning.
Throwback Vibes and Incredible Eel
Just like its name, this place really does feel like an old-school Pocha from the '80s!
Came specifically for the fresh unagi flown in from Korea—and it did not disappoint. It’s pre-cooked over charcoal and then grilled again tableside. Absolutely delicious and full of that OG Korean flavor.
Enjoyed it with bottles of soju on a Friday night—hit the spot perfectly.
Service was friendly, but a little off tune—possibly newer staff. Not terrible, just not very attentive. I’m confident they’ll dial it in with time.
Highly recommend the eel—it’s a must-try!
Food is average at best. FYI- Restaurant owners decide whether tips are calculated before or after taxes and the tip options on the checks here are calculated from the AFTER-TAX total.
So disappointed with the quality of their seafood. And the manager didn’t even care.
Food was great and reasonably priced. Only downside was shrimp tempura udon has barely any shrimp.
Other than that we would certainly go again.
Ordered a curry donkatsu for myself and was pleasantly surprised by the spread. Food tasted great and the place was clean!
keep ignoring us 5 times we call, we asked for just a bottle of water (3 times) and no one gave us? Are you guys discriminating against us viet ppl???? the food was pretty good but worst service ever
worst service i've ever seen
Racist staff, served and even picked up new
The crab was mushy, did not like it. The bbq beef rice, I don’t even know what to say about it. Octopus was alright. It was pretty cold in the restaurant maybe some heat would be better. Services was not the best. The food is not worth the price. Overall not coming back again, did not enjoy the experience.

K Soul Food inside The Source OC is a great spot for delicious Korean cuisine! Their pocha-style dishes are perfect for a casual meal with friends, and the live seafood options are super fresh. The flavors are bold and yummy, with some hints of Western side dishes. They put baked beans and salad in the main dishes too. Totally recommend the pocha-style dishes with some Western hints!

The ambiance of the restaurant is korean street food
We enjoy the combo set whether it‘s the vibrant sashimi that melts in your mouth or the hearty soup that follow

Literally like a night out in Busan—I literally had people ask me after seeing pictures if I was in Korea. Everything was so fresh and delicious, and the street cart vibes of the outside seating is just like Korea! We also ordered kimbap and tteokbokki and it was all so yummy!

The restaurant is located in The Source on the 3rd floor. We walked into the restaurant and they seated us right away outside at a larger table for our family of five. We sat inside the pojangmacha area outside. The weather was nice and cool but it was a little warm under the red tent. We went to dinner around 8:30 but it was still very busy and stayed busy through our meal. Looked like a popular place. We were provided water and silverware right away. We ordered and then they brought out the ban chan. Very simple yet tasty: kimchi, fish cake, cabbage salad, and spicy pickled radish.
Unfortunately they were out of the live uni for the night- will have to try again. We ordered two of the combo sushi plates, mandu (dumplings), two bowls of the bibim naegmyeon, and the special roll 1 (spam, bulgogi, and shrimp). I had the bibim naegmyeon and it was very good but spicy. I also had a dumpling which was tasty. Husband and son shared the combo sushi’s and the special rolls. Everything was good. There was a generous size of fish for the sushi and everything looked very fresh. Definitely will have to go back to try other menu items. Excellent service!
