We love coffee and stopped in at Stereoscope Coffee to get a cup. The staff was friendly and place was clean. We got an espresso with a heart. I got it for my wife. The coffee tasted awesome, we will be back.

Visited Stereoscope in the early evening around 6:30 pm, and the shop still had a nice steady flow of people. A mix of guests were quietly reading, working, or chatting, and the space had a relaxed, lingering-after-work atmosphere that felt welcoming without being too loud or crowded.
I ordered the espresso tonic, which was bright and refreshing with noticeable tangerine or mandarin notes. It had a clean finish and was enjoyable overall. Their espresso soft serve is something I really wanted to try, but the soft serve machine was unfortunately down during my visit.
There is plenty of seating both inside and outside, which makes it a convenient spot to sit for a bit. Service was friendly and efficient. The ambiance is modern and comfortable, with enough space to feel spread out even when it is busy.

I ordered two bags of ‘Colombia El Diviso-Ombligon Decaf’ whole bean online. The product description indicates that it is a light roast with flavor notes of ‘Blue Raspberry, Watermelon Candy, Silky, Cacao Nibs’. Neither of those details are true. The beans were clearly dark and oily. I have reached out to Stereoscope with the above feedback and didn’t get a response. I’m not looking to be recompensed for the beans, just that they either update their inaccurate description or change how they roast one of the best decaf beans on the market.
Edit: I never got an email. Yes, please recommend a recipe. For context, I have a v60, Aeropress, press pot, and a Switch. As for grinder, it is a Kingrinder K6; not a popular one so I’m happy to accommodate a micron range. For water, I use filtered water that is around 30 tds but I can remineralize water if necessary.

The Matcha Latte was excellent!
The staff was very knowledgeable and explained the different matcha options well. What truly stood out was the service: the owner (I assume) personally sought out and delivered drinks to customers scattered around, despite the long queue, even remembering faces. Truly amazing and impressive dedication! I will definitely be back to try their coffee next time.

I love that you can choose between different kinds/grades of matcha and you can taste the quality in both the matcha and the coffee. That said, I ended up spending around $40 for 3 drinks, which felt a bit too much for a casual coffee run.
To be fair, I did order two iced Ujigawa matcha lattes with added vanilla (one with almond milk), so the price added up quickly. Still, I don’t really think it’s worth that much for an everyday spot. I’d come back for an iced coffee or latte since the coffee was really good and more reasonably priced.
Great place to get coffee! This been a source of good drinks for a few years. Both the coffee and matcha drinks are equally great. They also now sell their own matcha powders. I will definitely buy once I start running out of NY current one. Cashier was very helpful and answered all my questions. I got my drinks quick. The place is a good place to study, work, or hang out.

One of my favorite coffee places within 20 mile radius! I love the Cortado. Make sure to look at the menu with the bean varieties and information on flavor profiles and pick one that fit fits what you like.

Came here last weekend for a cute date with my lady. The vibes were super chill with a nice variety of coffee options. I went with a cortado it was creamy, bold and yet smooth, just what I needed for a little pick me up. I also got to try the matcha latte, and the quality of the matcha was solid creamy with a slight bitter ton. The spot definitely is popular as it gets packed depending on when you come, it filled up not long after we sat down. I'd swing by again if I'm in the area.
