This was a bucket list item for us, being a long time fan and visitor of the park and had not visited in many years. Even booking weeks in advance we could only get a 3:45 reservation. Arranged our day around it, then got to the restaurant and half the place was empty. We got seated quickly but wait service was very, very slow. Probably spent about 30 minutes longer here than we needed to be. Food was generally good and wait staff was friendly, just weren't prepared to always be looking over my shoulder for the waitress. I might have enjoyed a dinner in the park more.

I had a disappointing experience during the Sunday buffet on 3/15, I asked for a medium rare slice of prime rib and the carver gave me a well-done slice and said “close enough.” The steamed vegetables were too salty and the gravy was bland. The best part of the experience was the nice omelet chef who smiled and waved at us as we walked by. I also saw him help an elderly guest who was having difficulty pouring syrup. I had to ask several times for table side condiments, and bowls for the posole.

Food was basically tasteless. It is definitely not like the Knott's of days gone bye. The best tasting item was the boysenberry pie. Service was fast and Claudia was a very good waitress.

I wish the Boysenberry brunch wasn't $72. The food wasn't worth it at all and neither of us were drinking alcohol at the time. No signage anywhere. We felt like we got robbed.

I do enjoy dining here whenever I am going to Knotts. My mom worked there back in the day and I have been going there for 60 years. Food is always consistent and you can count on good quality food. The service was very good. We enjoyed ourselves like usual.

I have loved coming to Mrs. Knott's Chicken Dinner as a child. I haven't eaten here in over 15 years but the food was still delicious as I can remember. The restaurant looks as if they expanded and it was still quaint but with modern touches. The service was good and fairly quick. The food was tasty, especially the biscuits and friend chicken but the veggies were bland. I thought the pie was going to be warmed up but it wasn't. I still ate it though! I made a reservation and was seated at my reservation time. I only waited 5 mins on a busy Sunday at the lunch hour.

We wanted to try this restaurant due to its historic nature and positive reviews. The food was fine, but there wasn't anything we would particularly return here for. Additionally, it took us about an hour for our food to be served, with tables around us who had arrived later getting their meals much faster than we did (we didn't have a large party or complicated orders). Our server apologized for the delay, but we were surprised and disappointed since we wanted to go back into the park more quickly. Overall, it was a fine experience, but was marred by the long wait time.

The food was fair, the biscuits were doughy and the mash potatoes were not the best.. also the soup had a funny after taste. The price of the food was reasonable but $6.99 for the punch was ridiculous. The place was too loud to hear the person next to you. Over all I would not be back.

If you have coupons for complimentary tickets, make sure to exchange them at the ticket booth first. It's long and slow line. Only 2 windows are open.

The restaurant was fine... but Knotts will charge you full parking cost as if you're at the theme park, which is $50 for preferred and $30 for parking farther away. We had a party of six with two cars and one elderly relative in a wheelchair. We ended up getting street parking a half mile away. Good thing we allowed extra time to arrive! I thought my fried chicken was good but lacking spices. Others ordered chicken pot pie or chicken & dumplings and they were happy. Meals include salad, either soup or rhubarb (both good) and a slice of pie. I had a half chicken in pieces... so that's a good value.

The fried chicken is tasteless, needs seasoning. chicken pieces are very small. Biscuits taste awful, maybe too much baking soda. I don't know. It sure isn't the flavor of a buttery comfort food biscuit. The mashed potatoes look piped onto the plate in a perfect circle with gravy in the middle. The chicken soup was ok. Our waitress was great very attentive. We left her a nice tip. It's not her fault the food taste so bad.

The fries were fresh and good but the corn dog was soft and not crispy on the outside with the batter inside still on the rawer side. Mediocre corn dogs with nothing particularly special about it in flavour, texture, or taste.

There was just so much food for a set price. Only dinner available on weekends, but the chicken and dumplings were enough for 3. Definitely having leftovers for lunch! The biscuits were hot and ready for butter and jam. The salad was the low point of the entire meal with too much arugula for my taste. The chicken pot pie was also massive and very tasty. The cherry rhubarb never fails to impress and the pie had to be boxed for later. No room left, I am afraid. A shout out to the boysenberry beer for its subtle taste and low bubbles. It is definitely worth a taste. Our server, Billy, handled the lunch crowd like a champ and tended to us like a pro.
