We ordered two dishes one was the tres amigo breakfast tacos and the Chilaquiles (added grilled ranchera) trust me add the ranchera! First let's start with the tacos....wow...fresh. its like a flavor explosion with every bite! Word of warning to those sensitive to heat these have a bit of a bite! Not too bad for those who like heat like I do but for my wife a lil spicy. Prob could ask if needed im sure. ALSO MY WIFE ABSOLUTELY HATES EGGS AND LOVED THESE TACOS. WANTING MORE! The chilaquiles are made fresh to order! No soggy chips here! Fresh dropped and even when the chips did start to get soggy near the end due to the amazing sauces they still had a crisp! How!?!? Lol the ranchera was one of the best I've had it wasnt over cooked at all def cooked to order! I would say cooked between medium rare and medium which is perfect in my opinion. When I come back I would order double steak on it. But I do love me some carne! Lol Last but not least my wife ordered the golden hour crunch coffee. Im not a big coffee fan and I wanted to drink the whole thing! The flavor of the espresso came through so well yet not bitter! Will def be back!

This place is amazing!! We had chilaquiles with the ranchero steak and the breakfast tacos! Hands down the best chilaquiles I've had in a really really long time!! The breakfast tacos were also killer! I also had a specialty iced coffee called golden hour crunch that had a vanilla crunch top and it was so amazing! You can taste the freshness of the beans and how they prepare them 😋 highly recommend this place!!!

Very dated interior and flooring. Service was slow on a Sunday when only half of the tables are occupied. No coffee was available, had to wait while they make just regular coffee. Very slow to provide menus and take order. Music was unbearably LOUD. Food is mediocre. Salsa and syrup were watered down. This is no Sunshine Cafe that was here... Not by a long shot.

Strange Café has such a great vibe — the music, atmosphere, and overall energy make it the perfect place to relax or hang out with friends. The food was amazing and came out fresh, and the service was genuinely friendly and attentive. You can tell they care about the little details here. I have to say, the soy chorizo omelette with serrano chillies, onions, American cheese, and avocado was the best!!! I also had hash browns and the honey almond milk latte; oh my goodness... I usually eat vegan but it was a special day with friends and what can I say: IT WAS WORTH EVERY BITE!!! The sourdough was covered in butter and it was heavenly and the devil itself at the same time!!! Iykyk 😎😉😘 Service was impeccable. Will return.

Food was delicious. Everything was made fresh. Got my gr aunt to try the Cafe de Olla, which she has never tried and she said it was delicious. I got the toasted and the toast was super soft and but fluffy. Totally recommend this place.
I just ordered a drink my dad is currently a patient down the street and i’m not a local! Thankful for this little plaza! Parking was great! I came before a rush it was ~7.30 am on a Friday so i just had to save some extra space for some big truck drivers (sharing is caring!) my drink was amazing they have milk options…i didn’t ask for her name but this ain’t no Starbucks! Let’s just say she made my day!!Good quality and great service i walked out with a personal drink that didn’t break the bank 💕

Super intrigued by the name of the place, we finally got a chance to visit the Strange Cafe When you step inside, you'll immediately feel welcomed by the cozy atmosphere of a retro cafe/diner. The food and drink menu were very unique and offered many specialty options including a morning smashburger and Cafe de Olla (traditional Mexican coffee from a clay mug!).
While we waited for food, we checked out the super cute arcade in the corner and just soaked in the chill, laid-back vibes And once the food came out, we absolutely devoured everything Chila-Killas was super tasty! Stuffed Waffles made for the perfect sweet ending to our meal. The top-tier service and immaculate vibes made for a great breakfast experience. Please stop by Strange Cafe if you're ever in the area!

I went into Strange Cafe expecting a coffee shop, but what I found inside was so much more! Strange Cafe is a full blown diner with great coffee, food, and atmosphere. I ordered a double Tejano Smashie (pictured) and a cappuccino. The burger had a great balance of heat, texture, and a lingering umami that I still can't forget as I write this. The cappuccino was brewed with beans locally roasted today or yesterday (Hector told me the details, but i forgot 😭). Either way, the quality of the beans really came through! Their Cafe de Olla was great too, and it's hard to find in the area! Staff was very friendly and I will be coming back for sure :)
