Food is great! So is service and chill atmosphere. The horchata latte was very good, tasty, and uplifting. Had a bf burrito and it was great. Friend had french toast combo and she loved it. Price is avg for cafes these days. Definitely coming back!

C’mon people! Give this place more stars! It’s delicious. The Chilaquiles are very tasty. The French Toast is perfect. And the Café the Olla is the best I’ve ever had. Bring the family and taste the goodness. I wish these guys the best of success so I can keep dining here for years to come!

Overpriced low effort food! It looked like my 13 year old nephew made the food. Very bland and basic eggs bacon and tater tots.
Wouldn’t eat here again even if it was free.
Coffee was basic nothing special.
I will say customer service was the best part. Kudos to the front desk workers.

Came here for the first time and didnt disappoint. Tried the red chilaquiles with over easy eggs and the sauce was tasty with just the right amount of spice. My wifey got the sausage breakfast burrito and was simple but good as well. Cold foam was not as thick as I would want for the iced americano but its a preference thing. The coffee otself was good. 🙂

📩 FINALS ARE DONE, and what better way to celebrate then to grab a bite at my new breakfast place! @strangebrews is the perfect blend of American and Mexican style breakfast.
While this cafe has only been around for a year, they stand out by taking creative specialty drinks and pairing them with mainstream breakfast favorites, giving everything a fun, elevated twist.
My favorite was probably the Cafe de Olla which was the right amount of sweetness paired with the natural bitterness of coffee. I’m usually not a hot coffee type of girl, but I would 100% get this again.
The staff were also super friendly and welcoming, and shoutout to Hector who went out of his way to make sure everything tasted amazing and for giving us a history of strange brews.
The next time you’re in Buena Park, check this place out! ⋆˙⟡♡

Coffee is phenomenal. Top tier! Chilaquiles were so delicious but way too expensive. Eggs aren’t included in the price which isn’t normal. Would have liked some avocado and more pickled onions at this price but it was delicious.

Changed my review. I think they had growing pains, they're doing great now. Love the unusual menu, most breakfast spots are so boring and predictable. This has boring too if that's what you're seeking, but lots of unusual things as well. Great place.

Second time here and I am a fan! Staff member Stacey was very prompt with service and I never felt I had to wait for anything; she was on it!
Food wise, no complaints! They have the sauces I like and the menu offers a lot of variety. I keep wanting to come back to try something else, so I will return!

Strange Brews Café in Buena Park has only been open a short time but it already feels like a reliable breakfast spot. The menu is simple but thoughtful and there is a nice balance between comfort food and creativity without going over the top. They recently added seasonal coffees and they are all solid. We tried the Dirty Olla, Cinnamon Kiss, and Golden Hour Crush. You can switch in oat or almond milk and although the drinks are a little sweet, they taste like fall in the best way.
The Pesadito Burrito with ranchera steak was the highlight for us. The steak was flavorful and the whole burrito felt well put together. The Morning Melt Stuffed Waffles were a fun choice if you like a mix of salty and sweet. Nico’s AM Smashie is a good option if you want something simple and familiar.
The café itself has a warm, friendly vibe and the service makes you feel welcome to stay awhile. It feels like a place you can come back to without thinking about it too hard. I’m already looking forward to trying more of their drinks and breakfast items. Great spot for anyone in the area - it’s cuspy Buena Park, La Palma, in Cypress.

WHERE DO I BEGIN? First and foremost the staff here warm and friendly! We ordered two dishes one was the tres amigo breakfast tacos and the Chilaquiles (added grilled ranchera) trust me add the ranchera! First let's start with the tacos....wow...fresh. its like a flavor explosion with every bite! Word of warning to those sensitive to heat these have a bit of a bite! Not too bad for those who like heat like I do but for my wife a lil spicy. Prob could ask if needed im sure. ALSO MY WIFE ABSOLUTELY HATES EGGS AND LOVED THESE TACOS. WANTING MORE! The chilaquiles are made fresh to order! No soggy chips here! Fresh dropped and even when the chips did start to get soggy near the end due to the amazing sauces they still had a crisp! How!?!? Lol the ranchera was one of the best I've had it wasnt over cooked at all def cooked to order! I would say cooked between medium rare and medium which is perfect in my opinion. When I come back I would order double steak on it. But I do love me some carne! Lol Last but not least my wife ordered the golden hour crunch coffee. Im not a big coffee fan and I wanted to drink the whole thing! The flavor of the espresso came through so well yet not bitter! Will def be back!

This place is amazing!! We had chilaquiles with the ranchero steak and the breakfast tacos! Hands down the best chilaquiles I've had in a really really long time!! The breakfast tacos were also killer! I also had a specialty iced coffee called golden hour crunch that had a vanilla crunch top and it was so amazing! You can taste the freshness of the beans and how they prepare them 😋 highly recommend this place!!!
