Let me start off by saying if I could give 0 star, I would. This restaurant took my reservation for a private room for a family gathering earlier in the week. When we showed up today, they said that we called and cancelled. All the rooms were taken already and they couldn't sit us. Not only that, the hostess started raising her voice at us saying that this has nothing to do with them and that we should leave.To top it off, they tell us that they changed the restaurant to all you can eat style, eliminating their course menus (prolly cuz it was garbage), AND they changed their restaurant name to Tong Tong. I walk outside and I see this trashy paper sign covering the old lit up sign.The length they went to cancel our reservation was astronomical. Only if they had put the effort into serving us. Oh well, we left to eat at their recommended restaurant in the same plaza, Sapporo. And that was delicious at least.100% do not recommend this place or Tong Tong or whatever.

Worse place I ever visited! Worse service! I spent 350 dollars but the food quality and quantity was really small. The manager's manner was terrible. I would never go this place again. I have never wrote reviews for restaurants but this place is Worse place. REALLY DISAPPOINTED!

What happened at Surah??Cook changed?? All side dish kind got less and also every dish taste very salty. Meat quality got bad too much fatty. Marinate with too much soy on galbegim. Very very bad..inside restaurant looks not clean either. So disappointed. Not like surah before I used go. Sorry..no more..

VERY expensive, but “Surah” means “the King’s meal” in Korean, in other words a meal fit for the royal family, so the quality of side dishes are more traditional royal Korean cuisine. In that respect, I suppose a higher price is justified.

Great quality pork, but surprisingly, the beef cuts were too fatty. I'm not one to complain about fat (aka flavor) on meat, bit their 늑간살 & 주물럭 (rib fingers and marinated rib meat) were overwhelmingly fatty.Good side dishes.Fermented bean soup could be better.Cold noodles were very good.Service was mediocre at best...seemed like both servers were unhappy to be there.

I take my family to this great spot quite often! This is my favorite spot to pass a nice evening. I go to this spot at least once a month. The cooking is excellent, the staff members are helpful and the charge is fair. I enjoy being in this spot to have a nice lunch.

They deserve 0 stars!! When I received the bowl, I started to mix it together and couldn’t believe that a bunch of SARAN WRAP was inside of my food!This is INSANE !!! Especially in the middle of a pandemic! They were extremely rude when I brought it to their attention and did not care at all. They acted like “What am I supposed to do about it?” and told me to eat elsewhere.I ended up leaving without eating anything. Such a shame to all the great Korean restaurants in town.
