Food and service was great! The only thing that was a drawback was the seating arrangements. It was definitely not a good setup as they had me sit next to the door and another couple was placed next to me pretty close. Overall, with the exception of the seating arrangements, really nice.

We can't wait to come back to Southern California just to bring the rest of the family to experience the absolutely best Sushi we've ever had!

Food was great. Seemed a little understaffed and missed bringing part of our order, but made it up to us with a free ice cream dessert for the table, so all good :) Worked out great for dinner before Scary Farm.

The service and food were horrible. My friends and I ordered two things, a sushi roll and the sesame chicken. After we sat down, we waited ages for someone to take our order, as all the waitresses were walking around and taking and serving other tables orders. It didn't take until we asked someone to take our order and had to wait for the waitress to come back after five minutes. We ordered and appetizer and an entrée, the entrée came first before the appetizer. We waited for a whole hour for our appetizer only for it to come out as in the photo. The only good thing about the place was the atmosphere, but it felt like the staff neglected our table and ripped us off.

The interior aesthetic of the restaurant is serene, and clean. The music as in all restaurants english pop, a bit loud. The menue is clear and easy to understand. They have specials buy a specialty roll for half off when you purchase a ramen or udon bowl. I chose the vegetarian udon noodle bowl and got a specialty spicy roll wrapped in radish. I had their green tea, delicious.
The waiter was courteous and attentive.

this was my first time here, i was driving down La Palma and was craving sushi, I saw the restaurant and stopped by.

I’m glad I did.

The portions are a good size.

I placed my order online around 5:10 PM, expecting it to be ready when I arrived, but when I got there at 6:00 PM, it still wasn't ready. There was no host at the stand, and when I finally had to call someone over, they were rude and dismissive, only telling me to keep waiting. The restaurant wasn't even that busy, so there was really no excuse for the lack of service. What bothered me most is that multiple employees saw me standing there and didn't bother to ask if I needed help. If I were waiting for a table, I would've checked in and waited outside-but that clearly wasn't the case. Overall, it was a really disappointing experience and showed poor customer service.

Poor customer service. I’ve also done a curbside order to avoid the poor service and my order was not ready on time. My order was ready 30 mins after the estimated time.

Wanted to try this out with my family.
Great location across from Knotts Berry Farm plus later hours (closes at 10).
Next door coffee shop and Borneo noodles businesses are shuttered though.
Ramen choices include miso, shio base, pork broth and spicy.
I got a standard ramen with charshui pork clucks.
My companions got the black garlic ramen.
I liked the broth and flavor of my dish but was disappointed with how much char was on the pork, making it taste burnt.
Also the egg tasted very weird, like bleached or something.
All day special is half off sushi rolls, including hand rolls with purchased entree or ramen.
Kids menu came with a lot of food : fried gyoza, rice, Katsu chicken plus French fries.
Maybe it was an off night since food had issues , but overall well priced meal.
Lots of parking, well lit area.
Attentive staff and food came out quickly.

Sushi Mura offers a comfortable dining experience with some nice value deals, though a few things could be improved.

Ambiance (4/5): The restaurant is clean and inviting with warm lighting and plenty of natural light from the windows. Seating is comfortable and makes for a relaxed meal.

Service (4/5): The staff was friendly and welcoming, and we were seated right away. Service felt attentive without being intrusive.

Food (3/5): My coworker and I tried their special—buy one entrée or noodle soup and get 50% off premium sushi rolls. He ordered the chicken katsu, which came with miso soup and rice, plus the original dragon roll. I went with the spicy tonkatsu ramen and the super dragon roll.

The ramen had decent spice but the broth lacked depth—I wish it had more umami flavor.

Both rolls were flavorful, but there was far too much eel sauce, which made them overly sweet. They also didn’t include cucumber, which I think would add much-needed crunch and balance.

Portions are very generous, so splitting one entrée and one roll between two people is plenty.

Overall: A good spot with friendly service and solid value, but I’d recommend asking for sauce on the side. I might come back, though I’d probably tweak my order next time.

Sushi Mura just opened a month ago, and I was curious to try this new spot. I dropped in for lunch recently and looked over their menu. They have plenty of sushi, sashimi, carpaccio, rice entrees, ramen, and specialty rolls. They also offer beers, sake, wine, and soju, but no spirited drinks (e.g., vodka, tequila, whiskey, etc.). They offer Monday through Friday drink deals as well.

I ordered the Shoyu Ramen and the California roll from the lunch special. The ramen had the light yet flavorful broth that I was hoping for. The bowl was filling with a lot of ingredients for the price. If you like heavier broths, they offer Tonkatsu and Miso ramen and options for vegetarians and vegans.

I also ordered yellowtail sushi to start my meal, which I enjoyed. The sushi rolls looked interesting, and I hope to try them next time.

My first visit was pleasant and tasty. The staff was friendly and attentive. I'll be back.
