Cool little spot located inside of the shopping mall. Was a little hard to find since there weren't any maps displayed in any of the walkways except one which is how I was able to locate the bakery. Mainly came for the macarons, but I also bought a tanghulu which was a pretty unique experience in itself. The service was very fast even with them having a long line, and the cashier was very helpful with helping us chose the right flavor for us.

Tanghulu Tried the strawberry and it was kinda too sweet. The sugar coating was also kinda on the thick side and not thin. It also dripped all over the place. But it hit the sweet spot that I needed. Also the one you get doesnt look like whats displayed.

The tanghulu was great! Although the sugar coating is very crunchy/thick, the mandarin was a bit easier for me to eat than the large round grapes. It was super refreshing and delicious.

Great little dessert place in Buena Park's Source. They have dragon beard candy and tanghulu and pretty unique, one-of-a-kind desserts. Their dragon beard candy is more chewy than I'm used to, and their tanghulu is thicker than Taiwanese tanghulu. If they tweak their recipe, it's a 5/5 for me.

This was the first time I tried Tanghulu and it was so good! The fruits are very fresh and are very sweet. Eat it with the sugar on the outside and it's BANGING! I tried both the strawberry and grape and they were both good but if I had to pick, I would pick the strawberry one. The shop itself is very cute and the service was quick and easy. I highly recommended getting some napkins because the sugar can get you in a STICKY situation. I'll definitely come back when I'm craving some Tanghulu!

This place is very cute and is a great place to stop by for a sweet snack. The service was fast and the worker was very nice. The character macron was not too sweet with great attention to details. The tanghulu had a thick layer of sugar that I wasn't a fan of but I liked that it came with a wrapper to prevent sticky fingers. Will definitely come back to try more flavors and the dragon beard candy!

Great snacks! We've been 2 separate times because they were out of the strawberry and mandarine flavors the first time. Crispy coating and sweet fruits. One downside is they are really sticky/syrupy because they're stored in a fridge but besides that they're amazing! The staff is friendly and nice and it's just a little sweet stall. I'll definitely be back!
I'm so glad that my partner and I finally tried out tanghulu here at Sweet Box. Tanghulu, or candied fruits, have been around for a long time. But, thanks to social media, this delectable and tasty treat has been a hot trend for people to try. We were in the area and wanted to walk around The Source OC to kill some time. We spotted an ad that displayed pictures of tanghulu at Sweet Box, so we caved in and decided to give it a go. The line was not too long when we arrived, but after we picked up our order, the line became even longer. That's when you know that the menu items at Sweet Box are good. We both ordered two orders of tanghulu strawberries and even though our treats were so delicious, it was a bit difficult to eat because it was very juicy and sticky, and the hard sugar pieces kept falling. Be sure to carry a lot of napkins with you when you eat it. We hope to try out their tanghulu orange slices and grapes soon.

Absolutely love Sweet Box!! Come here every time I'm at the source it's just that good!! They have the tastiest macaroons, they started selling Tanghulu which I was so excited they did because I have wanted to try them for so long and when I went and saw them of course I had to try them all lol! The service is good the girls that work there are always helpful patient and friendly! Thank you for that, on top of it all they have such amazing sweets that are not only delicious but super cute. Definitely come check this place out if you enjoy macaroons, and want to try Tanghulu. I don't know of any other place that carried them so for now this will always be my go to! They are located on the first floor of the Source shopping center in Buena Park. We actually parked on the second floor and took the escalator down.It's a really small stand with just snacks on display and they are close to Old Ferry Donut. My niece was visiting from New Zealand and found this place on TikTok or one of the YouTubers tried the Tanghulu from here and said it was good. We drove here just for that and they were cool to try! I tried the grape and strawberry and liked the strawberry more. I wish I could've tried the tangerine but I believe they were out at the time (this was around 7 p.m.) Definitely stop by here if you want good Tanghulu!
