I dealt with Carlos from the very begging, 4 weeks ago. I needed his catering service for 50 people at Neff park in La Mirada. He assured me he was licensed and had everything needed to work there, no problem he said! just send me the $200 deposit money to book your party. But after choosing the menu one week before the party he failed to show proof to the city of La Mirada parks and recreations of liability insurance and licensing which is necessary for him to bring his equipment to cater the food. It was too late for me to start looking for a new caterer when I had 50 guests coming to the party I ended up having to pay extra, not only for the food but also the liability insurance of $80 he couldn't provide proof of, Plus the license he carried was only for Orange County, this park is located in LA County. Please don't trust this guy he will tell you anything to get your money and then he doesn't do anything to help you. This is not the way to conduct business, he had me in pins and needles until the very last minute. He took advantage of me because I had no experience dealing with caterers in the past, I know better now.

They have done my birthday party & super bowl party & the food & service is always amazing! Joel was our cook both times & he was pleasant & professional. I loved that they threw in quesadillas & bacon wrapped hot dogs, big hit & reasonably priced.

My husband and I booked Carlos for my son's 4th birthday and it was a hit! We initially scheduled to book Carlos in 2020 but due to Covid we cancelled. Thankfully Carlos let us reschedule our event for 2021 without losing our deposit. My friends used his services for their event a few years back so I knew they were a reputable business I could trust. They showed up on time and the food was absolutely delicious!!! I will definitely be booking Carlos and his team for my next event. Thank-you

CARLOS YOU WERE WARNED!! Paid Carlos $250 to reserve my party date, then pandemic shut down. He ASSURED my deposit was good for a future party, when I tried to book for the day beore father's day this year, I received 1 response. I called and text Carlos multiple times thereafter to solidify my reservation and never received a response. I called from a different number and he answered right away....I told him I would be writing this negative review to which he repsonded, "do what you have to do" along with a sob story. Giving some grace, I have been waiting to see if he is back to business, which he appears to be. All along, I was requesting my refund since May 2021....still no response. SHADY BUSINESS...PEOPLE BEWARE!!

We had Carlos and Humberto who cooked for my sisters 40th birthday party. They were very efficient, clean and arrived exactly when they were expected. Everyone at the party raved how good the food was, people went back for more multiple times! I would highly recommend their services. Thanks again!
I normally don't like leaving negative reviews. I truly don't. Even if my experience wasn't the best I try not to hurt a business. I felt obligated to write this one for anyone wanting to use them as a caterer for their party. Planning a party is stressful and getting food is most important for guests. I saw decent reviews and was recommend this "taco man" . The first text was for me politely inquiring. I get a rude response and it literally says "what day, how many people" no hello! Or thank you! It was literally a two worded response. I was like okay...gave them the benefit. Maybe they were busy. Whatever the case I have about 40 but I can work with the minimum and also stated the city. This is the part that upset me. The person leaves me on read. So I waited a few days. No response. I called, no response. So I tried calling my back up taco people and THEY FILLED THE DATE that we wanted while we were waiting for this person To respond. Do not trust this business with your party. They don't have the balls to tell me no they can't do that date or party. They just ignore you if they feel like they don't want to serve you. Terrible business practice

So yummy and wonderful service and setup! Carlos was so wonderful to work with - he was responsive and explained everything, not to mention super nice. The setup was great - and the offerings were even better. Everyone at our party loved the food- ALL of the food was so tasty! He also offers fish tacos, which I loved having that option - and that was very tasty too! I have tried many taco catering services and this one is top notch all the way around. I will definitely be using them again. Thank you, Carlos for your professionalism and yummy food!!

Not a single complaint here. I needed a last minute taco man for a birthday party and they came through! We were quoted by a few other people to figure out an average price. I can say the price was 100% fair and worth it might I add. The food was really really good. (Especially the salsas). Santiago was our cook and did such an amazing job. I spoke with Carlos to set up everything and he was very responsive and checked in a few times to see how everything was going as well as confirming the day before my event. I will definitely rebook for future parties and recommend him to anyone looking! 10/10.
