It has been awhile since I have come over to the Knott’s Hotel where this FABULOUS Restaurant is located. Thirty Acres Kitchen. Amira is the MOST FABULOUS of Servers!! Kind & efficient!! Look @ the menu!… a picture coming🥰! The Boysenberry Margarita is AMAZING!!

At first our burgers didn’t come out as well done as I’d like but when they corrected the mistake, the burger was excellent! Fries are seasoned perfectly. To top it off Paul’s service is worth mentioning! Very polite and accommodating.

I WISH THAT MY FAMILY COULD GIVE THIS A NEGATIVE STAR REVIEW BECAUSE A ONE STAR REVIEW IS FAR TOO MUCH.

My family stayed at the Knott's Hotel for the very first time over the weekend 11/1-11/2 2025 and was beyond extremely disappointed. We spent Saturday at Knott's with the kids and after an exhausting day at the park we worked up quite an appetite so we decided to have dinner at the restaurant within the Knott's Hotel, Thirty Acres Kitchen I believe was what it was called We thought how convenient, we will have our very first of many family dinners @ the restaurant being that we just purchased prestige season pass tickets for the whole family. WE WERE SO WRONG !!! We waited well over an hour at the restaurant and all that we had received at this point were our drinks. After asking for a time frame on our food a waiter was sent out with 1 single dinner salad for my wife and being that everyone was just about starving at this point due to the wait everyone started sharing the dinner salad. After a few minutes of everyone eating the dinner salad it was noticed that COCKROACHES were in the salad. We obviously stopped eating and we're absolutely disgusted by the situation so we called our waiter over and explained the situation to him and he really couldn't have cared any less. He took the salad away and we never saw him come back out again to the point as to where we had to stop another waiter and explain the situation and told him that we were just going to leave because it was absolutely unacceptable and disgusting. The second waiter had said that he would go in the back and find out what was going on, moments later he had returned and asked if we had anything else or just the salad, obviously not sadly enough after over an hour of waiting. The second waiter once again came out moments later and said don't worry about paying for the drinks just go ahead and leave. ABSOLUTEL NOTHING came of the situation. Needless to say it was already late in the evening and not even the Starbucks in the hotel was open for us to eat anything whatsoever so we all returned to our room where we just had to go without dinner. As bad as that was, especially with it being our first trip it didn't end there. Around 2:30 a.m. we were awoken by our children saying that bugs were landing and crawling on them while they were trying to sleep. My wife and myself had awoke and turned on the lights to see a bunch of bugs flying around the room. We tried to swat and get rid of what we could see and to return back to sleep after an already terrible evening. The room was just ok, the beds we're EXTREMELY uncomfortable, it was like trying to sleep on a bunch springs and the pillows were just as bad. What sleep we did get, if you could call it that was TERRIBLE. Our necks and backs were hurting the next morning. Upon checking out in the morning I explained the ENTIRE SITUATION, including the cockroaches in our food to not only one staff member at the front desk, but they were four staff members present and I believe the one I was speaking to was some sort of lead or management. The saddest part about it was that she said that she would look into it, but that's about as far as it went. Nothing more or nothing less was said and we were allowed to walk out of there as our memory for our first visit and an extremely large amount of money being spent.

This place is a hidden gem. My family had a last minute get together and trying to find somewhere to eat. They went above and beyond my expectations. The service and quality of the food is a top notch. You have to try all their burgers.

We ate at Thirty Acres Kitchen inside Knott’s Hotel, and overall it was a great experience. The portions are huge — very Claim Jumper-sized. One pizza could have fed our whole table! The pizza was the highlight, with a great brick-oven taste. We also had chicken pot pie and loaded fries, and everything was delicious. Drinks were refreshing, and the menu had plenty of options to choose from.

The only downside was service at the beginning — we waited about 15 minutes before a server came by. But once food started coming, other staff checked in on us and that made things better.

The restaurant itself is bright and comfortable, which feels nice after a long day in the park. Having a bar and adult beverages is a plus, too.

Overall: 4 out of 5 stars. Great food, generous portions, just be ready for a bit of a wait at first.

The food here was really good. I ordered the filet mignon now twice, with seasoned fries and glazed carrots. Both times were delicious, but I should say the medium rare turned out fairly medium almost medium well. I showed up near closing so I didn’t bother to send it back. The most recent time I ordered the same thing and it came out flawless.

I've called two days in a row, well in advance, and tried to make a group reservation for August date (20-25 people). I spoke to two different hostesses on phone who assured me a Mgr. would call me back. Very poor customer service, no follow through, no call backs. Second hostess had no record of a reservation or previous day's call. We were looking forward to trying this place but I guess they're not interested in our business. Online reservation calendar only goes to 7/23/25 so that option is unavailable. Disappointed.

First the buffet is very subpar and poor compared to other hotel buffets. Not many choices and the waffles were hard as a rock. They didn’t refill anything in the buffet so they were empty and they charged $6 for a regular coffee. That’s criminal. I get it if it’s a latte or mocha but for regular coffee? Come on.

Food exceeded expectations for the setting and price range. Servers are attentive and friendly. Unfortunately, the menu doesn’t outline dietary restrictions or even calorie count of meals in order for guests to make an informed choice.

The service was excellent. I ordered something that I wasn't a fan of, but they cooked it to perfection. I'd love to try them again.
