The food and service were beyond my expectations. I really enjoyed the atmosphere of this restaurant. Superb spot to take the family out for lunch.

Last week was our first time we went to this place. But It is absolutely not the last. We passed a splendid evening with the good service, with the magnificent food and wine and with the honest price. We will absolutely go back there again.

We bakery is located inside. Sweet potato cake and strawberry whipped cream cake are both delicious.

Loved this place.. but this store is closed permanently.. There is a sign that "Lee Mangu Gyodong Champon is coming soon"..

Despite being in the food court in a market, this is the best Chinese restaurant in Orange County, imo. The owners used to own one of the best ever & pioneering Chinese restaurant in the San Fernando Valley. Since I left the Valley many years ago, I've missed the authentic & delicious Chinese food in the OC, but since I found this restaurant, my Chinese food cravings have been solved.

Come here for some good ja-jang myung which in my opinion feels the closest to home made in Buena Park. Here is what I do if you want to get your bang for your buck. Get the Ja-jang myung and water from here (the water is better) then go to Hoshi Sushi (cash only) and get a roll w/ miso soup for 4.99. Best lunch you will have. LOCATION : Inside of the Korean Supermarket. Its in the same plaza as Chevron / BCD / El Pollo Loco.

Simply put, it's good. Of course there are more options for Chinese fusion out there that offers more, but for a food court restaurant with little publicity, this place is one of the best in what it offers, the jjampong and jjajangmyeon is pretty much the stars of this place which is mainly why i give this place a five star rating. They did seem to be short on staff, causing some wait, but not too terrible, however no one seemed to be going out of their way to annoy us. Likewise the eating area is what you'd expect from a food court, not fancy or meticulous, put cleanly wiped and able to serve its purpose. i heard some say that people leaving their food trays is kind of disgusting, but the restaurants in the food court do a good job putting them away to create a cleaner eating area. Along with this the aura of the supermarket plus the good food just adds to create a pleasant experience worthy of a repeated experience. Final thought: Excellent for what it is. Nothing more, nothing less.

Best selection of korean snacks. Stop by we bakery, located near the end of the product section, and grab some freshly baked red bean buns and breads.

I've been shopping at the supermarket for over 20 years. A quick stop to the food court was always convenient and clean. The owners have changed over time and so has management. I'm greatly disappointed at how downhill the food court has become as it was a sentimental location. I decided to get get the half sweet& sour chicken with the jjampong noodles. Don't be fooled by their noodles they use yakisoba noodles (for stir fry). You raise prices, downgrade ingredients and hire a back talking cashier. Well, time to permanently cut ties and take my business elsewhere.

Been coming here for years for jjajang or jjampong combos. But recently things have changed, jjajang myun is still pretty good, but the jjampong soup tasted really bad.....very bland. The amount/portions of everything are a lot less now........and price went up on everything. =/

What a find! Delicious Kkamppongsaewu and jjajjang. Low prices, fast service, good food! They have jjajang jjampong combos and it's cool you can mix it up with dumplings or ttangsuyuk.

Because why go to an American mall to eat their food court when you can go to a Korean supermarket and eat Korean food court food!! I love their food options because you can order half and half of pretty much everything. They did seem a little bit short staffed but we finally got our food. I got the (jjamppong) with (mandu or dumplings), and the boyfriend got (jajangmyeon) with (tangsuyuk or sweet and sour pork). It wasn't super cheap but it was less than $10USD a person so can't complain! I really actually liked my food here. The jjamppong was on point, though maybe in retrospect it had a lot of MSG in it. It tasted like yummy chicken broth to me. The mandu was really the star though, it had a much thicker skin which kept it really crispy throughout my whole meal. And I was actually happy to get Chinese dumplings for once -- not so many extra added veggies like in Korean versions. Yay! Finished with Chinese kimchi and 沢庵 (takuan or yellow pickled daikon radish). This would definitely be a repeat pick for me.

This isn't so much of a review for this restaurant as it is for the food court dining area for this restaurant. It sucks. Sort of confusing. For some reason, they let all of the used trays with left over food stack up on each table. I've been here 3 times and each time it's the same. There is no place to bus your own table, and they don't have any workers that pick up the used trays. So everybody just eats among the filth of used food, bowls, trays, and other leftovers. This most recent time was so crowded and sort of disgusting, so I asked for my food to go. So I would refer this place if you get your food to go, but not sit and eat unless you like eating next to stacks of used plates and left over food.

Ever since chomanwon closed down i only come here to quell my korean style chinese craving. This place is at the foodcourt inside the han nam chain korean market so it is not a sit down restaurant but their tang soo yook taste cannot be beaten by any other in the hood. Screw hong kong ban jum. I support this non-corporate, yummy local business.

Sunday morning hang over cure institution. Best refried jjajang ( w crisp pork bits thrown in for good measure) in the o.c. Once you have orange chicken here you won't be able to go back to panda. Of all the Chinese joints I've been to in my life this place is arguably the tastiest. Understated & underrated, Excellent Chinese.
