I was really disappointed with my experience at Wyn KBBQ. We waited outside for over two hours, which we were willing to do because it’s advertised as a premium KBBQ spot. We were there to celebrate my friend’s military service, especially since they promote and advertise celebrating first responders and service members.

Once we were seated, things started off fine. We upgraded from the Gold menu to the Diamond menu expecting a better overall experience. The first two rounds of food came out without any issues.

However, after a server transition, everything went downhill. Our table was essentially ignored for about an hour. We asked for other servers if they can help us, but they told our table they will get our server to help us, but never did. We kept waiting to place additional orders, but no one came to check on us. After that hour, we had to call over the head waiter to explain what was happening. He apologized for the service disruption, which we appreciated, but by that point they were closing and was about to do final call.— and we had only received two rounds of food at what’s supposed to be an AYCE restaurant. Seated at 9, receiving no service 10, then being rushed to get out by 11…

For a $200 bill, the service and overall experience did not match the “premium” standard Wyn KBBQ promotes — especially for a night that was meant to honor my friend’s service. It did not feel like a celebration of service members at all. AYCE should not feel rushed or neglected, particularly after such a long wait and an upgraded menu. Instead, we just felt cheated and neglected out of our money for a service haphazardly delivered due to negligence.

I’m sharing this as constructive feedback for management because I would rather not have to write a negative review about a business. There’s clearly potential here, but service consistency — especially during server transitions — needs improvement so future guests don’t leave feeling overlooked and disappointed.

We visited as a family of four on a Sunday evening and left disappointed by the overall experience. Service was slow and disorganized from the start, and interactions with staff felt dismissive rather than welcoming.

We were brought items we did not order, which created confusion instead of adding value. Additionally, the banchan did not arrive for nearly an hour, with no clear communication or attempt to address the delay.
What stood out most was the lack of professionalism. There was no acknowledgment of the issues, no apology, and no effort to recover the experience.

Given the price point, the service fell well below reasonable expectations.
Unfortunately, this is not a place we would return to or recommend.

The food was absolutely delicious, and all the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. I felt really happy during my visit.
Especially Sofia, she was extremely friendly and provided amazing service. We will definitely be coming back again with friends!

I really hate to leave such low rating, but the service was so poor and the food was just average. We had to flag down different servers multiple times because nobody checked on our table once while we dined in. We also had to ask for the same things multiple times (side dishes, meat orders, water, rice, side plates) because the servers kept forgetting. We ordered soju which was forgotten as well. I hope it was just one off day where they were short staffed or something. If not, hope management sees this and trains servers and staff them better.

As we were about to leave, a server gave us her name and asked us to mention her in Yelp if we liked the services… i was in awe of the cluelessness of the server.

Also, the salad had dead bugs in them. I politely asked for a new one which never came. When I asked them again, they just told me they were out…

Also the self-bar was closed and I hope they had let us know that when we put our names down for the waitlist. We would definitely have reconsidered.

We searched several K-BBQ places for our family dinner and chose this spot. My wife and I prefer combo menus, but the kids love chadol(beef brisket), so we went with the Diamond Level All-You-Can-Eat menu at $49.99 per person. The salad bar was under construction, so the servers prepared the banchan(side dishes) for us, and all the side dishes were delicious. We ordered unmarinated menu first such as chadol, short rib boneless, ribeye steak, sirloin, and flank steak, and marinated LA galbi. The quality was outstanding. Another plus was that while other restaurants serve Kooksoondang or Jangsu makgolli, here we could enjoy delicious Jipyung makgeolli. The staff weren't just fast and impersonal kind; they were genuinely kind and responded quickly to our requests. Even though we were full, we tried the kalguksoo(hot noodles) at the staff's recommendation for the finishing meal, and it was such a good suggestion we would have regretted skipping it. It's a restaurant I'd recommend to friends.

I had such a wonderful experience. I usually only leave reviews for places I enjoyed and this one was one of them. I did not get our servers name but he was a very polite gentleman who made my dining experience amazing. Will recommend to anyone on the area.

If you want to do Korean BBQ right, you want 2 things, top tier meat and a clean, well-ventilated space. Wyn does both beautifully and I think they're gonna get real busy real soon.

They've got set combos that you can order from, but we went with the all-you-can-eat option at $50 per person which is not even their highest tier but already SO worth it for the high-quality meats and unique sides you can get, like katsu and curry at KBBQ (say what??), kalgutsu, which is Korean knife-cut noodles in an umami broth, and the soybean paste stew is EXCELLENT.

And let me just say, the boneless short rib is an instant standout. I also like their ribeye and I'm super picky with my steaks.

This spot is for those who crave authentic Korean barbecue in an upscale atmosphere, great meat and great ventilation.

Thanks for reading! ^-^

This place is very delicious. The wait time was only 20 minutes, and the owner, Helen, introduced herself to me and my fiance. Definitely on our list of KBBQ places to recommend to people and look forward to the next visit!

I’m absolutely speechless, this is hands down the best KBBQ in LA. The beef short rib was incredible and easily my favorite. Once you try this place, it’s guaranteed to become your go to spot. 🔥BEST FOOD BEST SERVICE

Ordered Ala Carte brisket, short rib, and pork belly. The portions were bigger than we expected and they were a lot for 2 people. But the quality was very good.
Service was also good, but for the atmosphere was 3 stars - very smokey inside the restaurant more than other places.
