For several years now, we’ve ordered holiday gift baskets from Aunt Joy’s Cakes and we are always impressed with their exceptional work! Julie is very responsive and easy to work with. Each year she helps us find basket options within our budget. The cookies are festive & delicious - we always receive many compliments on the baskets! Ordered cupcakes through their website. Was easy enough to do. Then I called and CONFIRMED the order and delivery - which I paid extra for. Cupcakes were to arrive at 11am. So time comes and no cupcakes, 1115 comes still no cupcakes 1130 comes still no cupcakes. Everyone is waiting and Im now late for work and still no cupcakes. I tried calling 4 times and no answer and no return of my voicemail. Called after hours line still no answer and no return to my messages. 1140am finally they answer - when I ask where the cupcakes are the woman says - " Oh yeah - do you want to cancel the order" I said NO where are the cupcakes? "Oh yeah they should be there soon I didnt know you had somewhere to be" Well the cupcakes did arrives 1 hour LATE! They cupcakes looked good but was surprised they were squished into a bakery box and not separated in a cupcake box. The whole thing was ruined and left me VERY embarrassed. If you are running LATE a phone call or email notice would have been the least you could do. Totally NOT acceptable service.
