This was our first time visiting this place. We really enjoyed the food, atmosphere, and service. When we were paying, we were given some lollipops. I think this was a nice gesture of care :)

This was a delightful find, a small intimate sushi restaurant with delightful Japanese owners. There aren't too many nice sushi places with a clean, simple aesthetic that are open to 10pm, and the service was top notch. I was at the sushi bar and was able to enjoy very rapid rounds of sushi, and the waitstaff was just as quick to respond to beverages and soups, and checks. I had a wonderful time and appreciate the nuance of a Japanese-owned sushi place vs. other more corporate sushi places. Definitely recommend and coming again!

Shrimp roll was good. Got a simple California roll, which was also good. Had the shrimp vegetable tempura. Super fresh and hot really good choice.

I wish I would have taken a picture of everything we ate, but we were hungry and the food was delicious, so we ate away.

We had their shishito peppers and miso as starters. We ordered one roll and the rest, a variety of nigiri. To drink we had sake. Everything was yummy.

I can't wait to comeback.

The people here are amazing at what they do. The atmosphere is very cozy, & the staff are very friendly & helpful. If you like sushi, you HAVE to visit this place at least once.

Best sushi I ever try in Burbank

I had a good experience. The water in our cups smelled bad. Like the ice maker had mold in it. Some of the sushi tasted bland. However some of the other rolls tasted fantastic.

When it came to pay, our waitress gave me the bill but then sat at the counter and got lost browsing social media on her phone. Please put away your phone when you're working, thank you!

I waited almost an hour and never got single item out. Just drank water and ordered. It wasn’t busy so it just surprised me that almost an hour later and nothing had been served. Waste of time.

Supreme fresh flavor professionally executed. Every single baked and fried roll was sliced perfectly 👌 nothing was falling apart.
Excellent service across the board. The whole staff everything was hands down 1st class.

The food was absolutely delightful personally loved the baked salmon roll, the music was just loud enough to drown out the other customers but quiet enough to carry on a conversation, definitely recommend.

Tatsu Sushi Japanese Cuisine is a true gem! The food was absolutely exceptional—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making the dining experience even better. While the restaurant is on the smaller side and can fill up quickly, that’s just a testament to how great the food is. They seem to handle a lot of takeout orders, but service remains impressively fast for dine-in guests. I will definitely be coming back, and I highly recommend this spot to all sushi lovers!
